Received a text about an hour ago saying my DS had been awarded so just waiting for the letter now to see what rate etc. I'm so pleased I was sure it wouldn't be awarded.

So, I applied for DS on 16th Nov...are we thinking I won't be hearing anything until the new year?! I haven't been waiting long, and it is already painful!

@Lula82 I have been told 8-10 weeks all throughout. About to get our decision Monday/Tuesday.

So you're looking at 11th Jan - 25th Jan

@Lula82 a bit of a wait, and it's a horrible anxious wait, so feel free to come back and chat with me throughout.

Thank you, I'm really anxious to see if our son is successful. My main concern is they only consider mobility at 3 years old if there is absolutely no mobility or little which would endanger them. He uses aids, a walker and is being fitted for a wheelchair this month. But he I fear they may try and put that part off until he is 5 years old, but my main hope is to get into the motability scheme to get a car with wheelchair access... So it would mess that plan up if he's not awarded it this time round.

It's normal to feel anxious. They received my daughters form 14th Oct so another 2 weeks I hope. From the minute I sent off the form it's constantly on my mind. Fingers crossed for everyone who hasn't heard anything yet. Xx

O god lol I updated everything Thursday when I found out and messaged her she messaged me back Friday what reply did they give u ? That's mine lol xx

Just called and it confused me lol.

So the gentleman said the case worker was requesting more information from a third party, but he mentioned the birth certificate I had sent, and got back. Something about its scanned to be put on electronically, and that case workers don't see the hard copy? But he thinks this is what the request is connected to?

But he is going to email the case worker to confirm what this information is. But I'm probably going to call later today lol.

Received my form 4th October. The wait is killing me… hope to hear something back today!

Just spoke to someone and they told me that they are working on claims up until 5th October this week

Thats brilliant news. They received mine of the 14th October, I called yesterday and they said another 2 weeks... weird that.. I'll be calling again today and putting my foot down...
