Hi the Second thread ended because when it reaches a 1000 comments it will close I thought I would set this up so everyone can talk again

@Jneill2021 put a note in your journal and tell them you want it backdating to when dla have awarded it from and just put you've only found out today Xx

@Alk19 thank you just a waiting game with these now does it mean he gets the higher disabled child element ? Xx

So how many week's was you waiting exactly again? Xx I'm a few weeks behind you October 14th.

@LovingLanz5 just over 9 weeks I rang yesterday and it wasn't even with a dm but decision made this morning so I'm taking it there working abit quicker now xx

Mine was scanned on the 28th sept so 9weeks 2 days I think xx

@DeludedWench have you spoke to them about an update ?xx

@DeludedWench Fingers crossed for you, I can't tell you what a relief it is I called yesterday and it wasn't even with a dm called at 1 today and decision and payment already approved I wasn't expecting anything for another week lol

@Alk19 do you no if the child element would be added on the next uc payment ? I'm not due payment till the 23rd, uc is so confusing to me lol xx

@Jneill2021 I told them on the 16th and my payment was due the 19th so I already missed my 'qualifying dates' so if your within your dates it should be in this payment but don't hold your breath xx

@Alk19 ok yeah I'm dreding dealing with uc as I don't even have a work coach, so them getting back to me just in general takes forever xx

@Jneill2021 I'm the same I don't have a work coach either adding the elements shouldn't be a problem it's the backdate that is but hopefully won't be for you make sure when you change your circumstances to put it in your journal you want it backdated to the start of your dla claim Xx

@Alk19 thank you, I called yesterday done the change of circumstances, I checked after all sorted coning up in receipt of hrc, I put a note on journal about the backdate but suppose be a long wait before anyone gets back to me lol xx

Just rang and there is still no decision. Lady said as they are working on claims around that date, it can take anywhere from now until Sunday for the decision to be made.
