I’ve been away this weekend so totally off plan. A lot of wine.

I need to claw it back this week now. Weigh in is Thursday. My plan is to max out the speed foods and protein but not go as far as SP, but keep the Syns super low. And I really must drink more water, I don’t drink enough. I’d gained 1.5 last week so I’d like to get that off if possible.

this weekend was the last of a run of social commitments over the last month/6 weeks so now I’m hoping for a clear run where I can really stick to it every day. I’ve made soup today and frozen portions, plus I made pasta with loads of veg which I will add tuna and mayo to for lunches. My planned dinner tomorrow Will be chilli and again, I will freeze portions for lunches/evening meals.

For exercise, I will really push myself to do 2 classes or home workouts and 2/3 runs. I have found out today that my gym has cancelled one of the classes I normally go to which is very annoying as I can’t get to many others. I need to start doing a home workout, but something just stops me from starting and I don’t know why. Maybe this week will be my week!

I start a new job tomorrow. I am very nervous but also excited. I am going to try and get a walk in the morning before I start. Not going to strain myself too much as I do love my bed. If I do get up and out be nice just to go around the block which would take around 30 mins to clear my head.

I have had a busy weekend but hoping I might have a small loss this week. Going to aim for lots of speed and protein but not actually do SP.

What did you have from chinese takeaway @Blondeshavemorefun 😋

2lb off so achieved my (original) target of 40lb off!!! Am setting another one as am nowhere near a healthy weight yet, but v chuffed 😊

I've fallen off the wagon (having lost 1.5lb last week in a complete surprise) and then run at full speed to the nearest fish and chip shop. I do this occasionally. I'll be back on wednesday with the realisation when I get on the scales that I'm not going to see the next kilo down ever if I carry on pissing around. But bizarrely I'm ok with that so I'll carry on checking in here.

Well done with the losses - you remind me what I could achieve if I didn't fart around so much

I really struggle with lunches on SW as I'm a sandwich and crisps kinda gal. I've been making leftovers instead but I don't really like it. I also like my 2 x hifi bars mid morning and mid afternoon and don't like to syn the bread..so try to avoid bread altogether on SW.
I did classes last year and lost 3 stone but have put on 1.5 stone since I stopped. Just joined again and doing the online membership.
Find when you fall off the SW wagon it's so hard to get back on it

Falling off the wagon isn't the issue. What counts is how soon you climb back on.

That said, I'm off to weigh in, and expect a gain this week. There were meringues, and a cheese toastie.

A surprise half pound off.
@Blondeshavemorefun I was in a cafe where there were no on-plan options, and I'd already used my B at breakfast. I thought Cheese on toast would be the best - just syn one slice of bread- but what arrived was a huge, bulging toastie, crammed with cheese and with the outside buttered to make it crisper.

My take away from today's group was to up the Speed Food, so I'm going to try recording here only the Speed.

I had a good day today. Went to the gym at 6am. Breakfast was just a banana. Lunch was leftover pasta bolognese, all free, and some cherry toms, fish sticks, and fruit. 2 Hifis as snacks. Dinner was Asda Turkey sausages that are 1 syn each, an egg, and cherry toms. I did break the rules a bit as I’d had no hEX A today at all, we had no cheese in so I had a 2nd HEX b and had a wholemeal pitta.
tomorrow, I am at the gym again at 6, then I’m collecting my puppy! I have a chicken to throw in the oven for dinner and will do some baked potatoes for lunch with tuna. I need to eat more salad and veg but I’m just not fancying it. But I’ll try…

It is weigh in day for me this evening. I am not looking forward to it but it will be what it will be. I remember the days when I could really enjoy my food and make some really nice SW meals. Now I dont have the motivation. But I am going to just keep pushing myself.

I weighed in tonight and I’ve lost 1.5lbs, which is what I gained last week, so I’m pleased with that. I am very determined this week, I finally have a weekend with no social plans (other than standing in my garden waiting for my puppy to piddle) so I am planning a straight run of days on plan. Even today! So I’m setting my sights high for 2lbs this week which would take me to my 1/2 stone!

Weigh in day and 1 pound off. It was a surprise as have had my mum visiting so not as on plan as should have been. Bigger surprise was that I am SOTW which I know doesn’t say much for our group but it’s small and several are 1-2 pounds off target.
My meal planning has gone out the window so need to seriously take it in hand. Food today was:

B: 0% Greek yoghurt
L: baked potato with spoonful of cheese and lots of sliced pepper.
S: curly wurly
Pre-run: wholemeal pitta with ham and mashed avocado plus tea cake
Dinner: Merchant spicy lentil chilli + rice
Snack: 2 bourbons

Went over syns but 10k run this evening was tough with lots of hills.

Am 0.5 pounds off my interim target. Would like to lose another half stone to fit a bit more comfortably into size 12 bottoms but I’m wavering between just losing enough (4.5 more pounds to get to bottom end of healthy bmi or keep going). I’ve calculated reaching target by end of November with a weekly one pound loss.

@Ralphiesaurus well done on reaching your original target! 40 pounds is fantastic. I think I’ve lost about 34 pounds over past 5.5 mths.

well done on surprise half pound loss @pelagra - all my losses are surprises these days!

Sts. Bit peeved but did have Chinese takeaway. I didn't think one meal out of 21 would make a diff but equally I lost 11lb over the last month so guess not too bad

Brunch today- only 1 syn for ketchup
I made patties out of Turkey mince and seasoning, a fried egg, HE a cheese and HEB bun. So nice!

@thenewaveragebear1983 - that looks good. Did you have to add anything to get the turkey to stay together? Whenever I've tried to make burgers they end up very crumbley and fall apart in the pan or on the BBQ.

Can I sneak in? I joined Saturday so 1st full day on plan. I've lost weight before and kept it off but I put 5st on with last pregnancy and want to shift it and can't face going back to weighing and counting everything 🫣

This weekend was the first weekend in a very very very long time where I counted everything, tracked everything and did not go over (whether that be calories/Syns etc) just a proper weekend on track, so feeling very positive now heading into the week.

I made a lasagne last night which was delicious, so tonight we’ll be having the roast I couldn’t be bothered to cook!

Hi all, I'd like to spectacularly sneak back in after starting the thread last year then disappearing. I have gained quite a bit of weight lately and need some control. I will be weighing myself tomorrow 🤞🤞🤞

My excuse for falling off the wagon is a lot of life changes.....but I can only use the distracted excuse for so long and have to think about getting back on track. I e just finished Aerobics & just meeting a friend for lunch....salad I think for me.
