@Elodie09 this might help re Lidl

Elodie09 · 31/01/2023 15:31

@Wilma55 Thanks ever so much!

Wilma55 · 31/01/2023 15:34

You're welcome. They also do lists for the other major supermarkets and have been updated this month.

TheGirlWhoLived · 31/01/2023 17:56

1.5 this week for me, slumming in the right direction m!!

Dahliasrule · 01/02/2023 07:47

1.5 for me as well yesterday. It seems to be the popular figure this week. I am thrilled as being older the weight is slower to shift! My excuse!
I was getting quite excited about the lo-dough. A pity they do not produce it anymore.
Perhaps I should look at my fruit intake too. I always have some fruit and 0% fat Greek yogurt for pudding after tea. An apple for supper and during the day, if I get the too hungry before tea,
two satsumas. I do quite well for speed. Large salad at lunch, and at least two veg at tea, (usually broccoli, green beans or cauli).

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 01/02/2023 08:14

As long as the fruit is speed it should be fine, I have a bowl of yoghurt with strawberries, raspberries and blueberries daily.

TheGirlWhoLived · 01/02/2023 09:36

I can’t get on board with fruit in the winter months so much, come spring/summer I feel I’m 80% berry!

Wilma55 · 01/02/2023 10:55

I tend to have a banana most days but also buy the frozen berries and defrost half a pack at a time to have with yogurt or cereal or even on a meringue nest.
Trying another PON recipe tonight, Pesto Chicken Orzo which is on the website. I've got full fat (!) pesto but I'll use HexA for the parmesan so should be about 3 syns max.

TheGirlWhoLived · 01/02/2023 10:59

If you get chance to try the creamy garlic chicken from the original PON book it’s delicious! I had it with mash but I expect pasta would work as there was masses of sauce

pappajonessecretchild · 01/02/2023 17:15

sounds like people are having a positive week! I have had a very good week, and lost 2lb, always slow but steady. got a couple of meals to negotiate out with friends this week, but only 1lb away from the club 10 so got that in my mind for next week.
does anyone find the cold weather makes them eat more? i am having veg with pasta and a bit of low fat cheese spread as HEB for tea as need something filing and warm!

LeftyLou · 02/02/2023 12:28

This is the 3rd gain I have had now. I am seriously going to need to get my act together or I am just going to put all the weight back on and then the rest.

In April time last year I was almost at 2 stone loss. Yesterday I have gone back down to having lost 7 lbs! So from today I am 100% determined to be on it.

I know it is only me who can do it but I know I will regret it if I don't. I am going to use this thread as my weigh ins for accountability.

My heaviest weight - 13 stone 7
Weight when first started SW - 13 stone 3

1st Feb - 12 stone 10

First interim target = Loose between 6 - 10 lbs by end of the month.

Wilma55 · 03/02/2023 07:57

You can do it @LeftyLou you've done it before and spring is on the way (or is it a polar vortex!)

I notice you've added your meals to the other SW thread I follow and that should help with accountability - it doesn't get many posts these days unfortunately, I used to find it gave me ideas of meals and snacks to try.

DeltaAlphaDelta79 · 03/02/2023 09:37

Only half off today! Disappointing but its going the right way!

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 03/02/2023 12:37

Measure out half a pound in pasta, it's good to see how much it actually is,well done!

Thank you. Yes, good idea, will do! I think I was just expecting a bit more.

LeftyLou · 03/02/2023 17:31

Thankyou @Wilma55 😊

@DeltaAlphaDelta79 well done like you say in the right direction. Keep going. You might get the loss you expected next week 🙂

Does anyone know how Blondes is doing? not seen her for a while.
Hope she's okay.

Wilma55 · 05/02/2023 11:18

Blondes is still active on the TV threads so hopefully ok.

Sts this week, was a bit disappointed as had lost a pound on my scales. Still in target but only just.

LeftyLou · 09/02/2023 00:36

Ah that's good to know 🙂

off 3 lbs this week. Really needed that boost!

Wilma55 · 09/02/2023 14:16

Well done @LeftyLou keep it up and you should make your end of month goal.

Where is @SpongeBobJudgeyPants ?

pappajonessecretchild · 09/02/2023 19:27

well done, Lefty! another one and half here, so got my club 10. slow and steady! whats everyones favourite meal with the cold weather? mine is pasta and veg with a bit of cheese spread mixed in (heA) and what do people think of the new toffee pudding hifi bars? very sweet, and i normally go for sweet things! but going back to my chewy toffee and the peanut ones.

PieonaBarm · 09/02/2023 19:37

Well done @pappajonessecretchild I need a bit of motivation just now! I love a jacket spud with tuna and grated cheese just now. I like the new bars but I find one is enough and I have a mega sweet tooth!

mumtobeauts · 09/02/2023 22:12

Baby is 10 weeks old, started slimming world when baby was 3 weeks and so far lost 2 stone 1lb! Another 3 to go 🙈

Ooshie · 10/02/2023 07:42

That’s incredible, well done @mumtobeauts

DeltaAlphaDelta79 · 10/02/2023 09:54

Ooshie · 10/02/2023 11:38

After being on plan and having rubbish losses for the past 2 weeks it’s finally caught up and I lost 4lb this week! So pleased and feel like I’ve finally made some progress, finally got my 1/2 stone award too.
