@Wilma55

OP posts:
Dahliasrule · 25/01/2023 10:59

My WI was yesterday. A maintain. I really thought I would have lost a bit. The last couple of weigh ins I thought I would have put on, but I had lost. It is not making much sense to me!

TheGirlWhoLived · 25/01/2023 11:07

Are you drinking loads of water @Dahliasrule ?? I’ve read about a whoosh effect… where your body maintains and then a big loss so maybe that’s it!?

Dahliasrule · 25/01/2023 18:25

@TheGirlWhoLived , no, I am more of a tea drinker! Let’s hope I get the Whoosh effect next week!

PieonaBarm · 25/01/2023 19:10

I weighed in tonight. Skipped last week as I knew I'd been bad but I drew the line last Monday (10 days ago), quit the snacking, stopped eating cheese, drank a load of water and stuck to it.

Lost 7.5lb!! Was a surprise but I'm really chuffed! 10.5 in total since the week before Christmas!

PurpleFlower1983 · 25/01/2023 21:34

I weighed in this morning. 4lbs off! Very happy with that! I’m aiming for an average of 2lbs per week so it’s a good start. I want to lose 20lbs by Easter.

searchingforme · 26/01/2023 07:50

My second weigh in was disappointing 0.4 kg but it’s my period week and also have a family birthday tomorrow so having a get together and takeaway which may damage my weigh in next week. Hopefully I won’t put any on!

pappajonessecretchild · 26/01/2023 09:37

some good weight losses from you all! i lost a pound this week, but am never a big loser and also had a weekend away. Nothing in the way this week, and looking forward to doing some cooking to fit into the SW plan. Hoping to get 1 and half stone by end of feb, and the 2 stone for easter, which is 13lb away. leaving one more stone by sep (sounds good but things will get in the way!)

Dahliasrule · 26/01/2023 12:32

My goodness, @PieonaBarm and @PurpleFlower1983 , outstanding weight losses. @searchingforme , a loss is a loss! 0.4kg is almost a lb! I would be happy with that. Enjoy the family get together tomorrow.

Saladd0dger · 26/01/2023 15:50

Only 1.5 off this week. I haven’t gone over syns I just haven’t made good choices. No speed food or anything x

DeltaAlphaDelta79 · 27/01/2023 10:40

1.5 off for me this week!

Ooshie · 27/01/2023 13:59

There are some brilliant losses this week. My week 2 and I lost 0.5lb. I’m so so disappointed, especially since I am going out this weekend so next week will be a gain/maintain. No idea what was wrong.

Wilma55 · 27/01/2023 16:48

@Ooshie do you go to group and if so did you fill in a tracker for the consultant to look at?

Wilma55 · 27/01/2023 20:01

Made pizza tonight using a lo-dough base which is only 2 syns (37 calories) as opposed to partners sainsburys pizza base which was 442 calories!

I know we had a discussion about these lo-dough items on a previous thread but I thought it wasn't too bad and a really significant calorie saving.

Mine is the one in the foreground!

Ooshie · 28/01/2023 07:38

@Wilma55 I do go to group although I left early today because I was so mortified by a 0.5lb loss. I’m going to use the app to log everything this week incase any syn values have changed, I’m thinking I need to eat less fruit too.

Ooshie · 28/01/2023 07:38

Lo dough sounds a great idea! Might have to order some!

Wilma55 · 28/01/2023 07:44

Oh no @Ooshie I've just found out lo-dough are no longer trading! I bought the pizza bases last summer. Such a shame, but they were quite expensive and with the cost of living crisis I think sales plummeted.

Rockingcloggs · 28/01/2023 09:17

2.5lb off this morning!

I bought the Skinny Food Co pizza bases last week only to discover they contain 15 syns per base! 😖

PieonaBarm · 28/01/2023 11:55

@Ooshie my consultant was talking about fruit this week, she says although it's free she advises more veg than fruit and if you're fruit heavy it may affect it. I'm not a big fruit eater and if you think about a banana a medium one is 80 calories, a couple of those a day and then a tangerine or two, an apple and some berries would soon add up.

0.5 is still a loss, combine it with the week before and then see what you lost in a fortnight, it'll make it feel better!

Carpediem15 · 28/01/2023 13:02

1.5 off today when I have already taken target, another half a pound and it would have been my 2 stone off. Do they still give you a certificate even if you are at target?
I asked about fruit last week and was told it was ok - I have apple and pear for breakfast, frozen fruit after lunch and maybe an easy peeler mid afternoon or sometimes banana on 2 ryvita. I cut it down a bit last week and get a good loss so will be a bit mindful of it in future.
Must get some WW wraps for a pizza, got into the Warburtons pitta pockets for my B so will have a change.

Wilma55 · 28/01/2023 13:39

1/2 lb off this week and still in my target bubble. First meeting I've been to with our new consultant, she seems OK, I just hope she lasts longer than the last one. They must need a huge vehicle to transport all the stuff they bring.

Dontsparethehorses · 28/01/2023 18:07

1lb off this week which is fair. 3lb off 2 stone award so determined to be on plan this week and hopefully 2 off… today has been good and week days are trickiest!

Elodie09 · 29/01/2023 17:10

Anyone know which are the best yoghurts to get from Lidl, or any other good veggie dishes from there?

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 30/01/2023 07:23

1.5 lbs off, was hoping for a bit more as I've been on plan all week but not walking as much as I usually do due to an injury. So this week will be back to walking, drinking loads of water and possibly doing a speed week but I'll find that hard as I love potatoes 🤣

LeftyLou · 30/01/2023 23:34

My partner got a toblerone for his birthday. I looked up the syn value by typing it in the app and it came up as 2 syns per triangle. I thought great I'll have 3 with a fruit platter and that can be my evening treat and I'll do that for the rest of the week.

Luckily I decided to then scan the bar itself and it is actually 8.5 syns per triangle for the 360g. I am just glad I looked after having 1 rather than 3. So there goes my great idea 🙈

Think I'll have a look at the mini ones see if they are worth it.

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 31/01/2023 09:16

I've done that before,it's always best to scan, that was a near miss 😱🤣

My 3 months is up and I renewed and it worked out much cheaper buying a 6 month sub and I saved £40. I'm in this for the long haul so thought I might as well resubscribe.
