Well done @mumtobeauts and @Ooshie and good luck for next week @DeltaAlphaDelta79.

I like soups, casseroles and curry when it's cold. Fish pie tonight which might be a bit much having had a baked potato for lunch!

My group has moved to a new venue for a couple of weeks so I probably won't go.

Thank you. Had a weekend away where I didnt think about it, and came home having not put anything on, so i am taking that as a sign!

After missing last week was thrilled to lose three pounds at WI tonight and to get my stone award. This was probably helped by the fact that I had a diverticulitis flair up and was on a liquid only diet for three days. Soup, soup and more soup. I feel much better now and need to try hard to keep on plan as off for a week’s holiday in just over two week so would like to consolidate the loss.

Hi...

I've just rejoined tonight after putting nearly 6 stone on through lockdown.

I need to get rid of all of that. Committee to a 12-week countdown to help me along.

Really hoping I can do it!

Hi everyone, I will be officially restarting on monday, previously lost 3.5 stone and kept it off for years, until lockdown ... I was then diagnosed with Coeliac disease and was very poorly and had alot of diet restructions. I am now feeling ready to get back on track , following SW with tweaks for gluten free diet !

Well done for starting @WifeWithKids. There have been some good losses this week! I have also lost 3lbs which was a great surprise! Got a few meals out over half term so will aim to maintain for this week.

Well done for your loss! Weigh in is on Tuesday and I've been 100% on plan so far. Hoping for a decent "fabulous first week"!

I lost another kilo so have lost 12 in total since November,so pleased with myself especially as I have discovered hifi bars and have been chomping through them at an alarming fashion! 😂

Going back to group from this Friday.. I hit my target a fair few years back.. maintained for 2.5 years and then it started creeping back up! Lockdown was my golden fuck it ticket and I drank and ate my way through life. 🤦‍♀️ anyway, I'm back in the game and I'm walking back into group this Friday to face the scales and get my arse in gear!! I've given up the wine already and started swimming daily so now it's time to stop the snacking. Looking forward to getting to know you all x

how is everyone? how was half term? weekends and holidays can be tricky. I got my one and half stone shiny this week. which was my 'head' goal, hopefully 2st by easter. this week the meeting was about the app, making sure everyone knew where everything is. It was very good. I like the podcasts but dont do my food on the app. Do you all still write things down/log it? I just sort of get on with it now.

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 23/02/2023 14:48

I log EVERYTHING as I go on the app, I like seeing it in front of me and for some reason that makes it work for me. I can do track my syns and see how many I have left at the end of the week to use up if I want to.

Look at how many mls in the total tub and working out from there? So if there are 500 it will be a fifth of it.

Report
MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 24/02/2023 08:40

Fill the glass with water. Pour that water into a measuring jug. That's the amount of mls that fit in the glass. Now put your ice cream in the glass just up to the rim and figure it's got close to that number of ice cream

I just goggled this from Reddit, lots of people discussing the same question!

Thanks @MrsPelligrinoPetrichor

It was the end of a 450ml tub so couldn't eyeball it. There is a lot of air whipped into the ice cream so I'm not sure about the glass method but at least it wouldn't be over so that might be how I do it next time.

My scales if you press unit swaps into ml- it’s a fairly basic salter one!

Hello! I'm 2.5 stone off now since November, helped along by a terrible flu bug 🤢 None of last year's summer clothes fit now, they're laughable big and just had to buy a pair of yoga pants two sizes smaller, can hardly believe it!

Fallen off the wagon massively! Lost all my mojo and regained my other chin. Had some news about my health that would be improved loads if I lost weight but the news seems to have taken me in the other direction and I can’t stop eating.
been keeping in touch with my consultant and I WILL be back in group on Thursday.
