Didn’t have breakfast today as was too busy cluster feeding the sprog.

L: whole meal pitta (hexa) with ham and salad
D: grilled chicken breast with big salad, raita made with 0% yoghurt so it was free and a few chips.

have made rice crispie baskets with my daughter today so might have one of those later after my workout.

DelurkingLawyer · 09/05/2022 09:09

One pound down this week which I’ll take happily.

B: chia and linseed (HEXB) in Skyr 0% yoghurt, blueberries, pomegranate, pineapple

L: something with a squash I roasted last night with chilli flakes (was going to be soup but it’s not soup weather!)

S: cheeses with apples and grapes (2 x HEXA)

D: tuna Niçoise salad (2 syns for 25g olives - I think! Couldn’t find these in the book - anyone know?)

Have to be careful this week as have 2 dinners out. I am on medication which means I really, really can’t drink, so that answers one question. Am contacting them today to ask for a fruit plate for dessert both times.

JingleAndTonic · 09/05/2022 09:45

well done @DelurkingLawyer Smile

L - spicy tomato soup and a bacon sandwich (HEB, 1 syn sauce) odd combo but the bacon needs using as did the tomatoes lurking at the bottom of the fridge Grin
T - vodka pasta from the pinch of nom book and garlic bread (7 syns, HEA for cheese)

S - kiwi and a skinny bar (4.5)

Blondeshavemorefun · 09/05/2022 17:32

L - spicy tomato soup and a cheese sandwich (HEA, HEB)

T - 2 richmond veggie sausages (8), fried egg, SW chips and beans

S - kiwi and a skinny bar again (4.5)

DelurkingLawyer · 10/05/2022 13:22

Afternoon everyone!

B: chia and linseed (HEXB), strawberries, raspberries and Skyr yoghurt

L: pumpkin soup (it’s been so cold I did make soup with it after all) grapes and danish blue (HEXA)

D: wish me luck because I’m off out to a dinner with work. Plan: no booze which will be easy because I am on medication, fruit for pudding (prearranged because otherwise no choice will be available) and stay away from bread and butter and other optional extras like chocolates with coffee. Otherwise I’ll just eat what’s on my plate and enjoy it and not syn it.

LeftyLou · 10/05/2022 16:33

Pumpkin soup sounds lovely. Enjoy your meal out @DelurkingLawyer 😊

B raspberries with quark and sweetner

L tuna crunch sandwich hexb plus 3.5 as used 2 slices from 800g loaf. Tuna mixed with quark and balsamic vinegar red pepper and red onion

T herb crusted lamb with roasted carrot and parsnip and butternut squash mash. The recipe says 3.5 syns per serving but I think that includes the potato bake it suggests (not making) and it also asks for dijon mustard for the lamb which I am going to omit as we don't actually have any. So I am assuming with fat taken of the meat it will be free, other than gravy.

Treats banana and raspberry jelly 0.5

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/05/2022 19:47

Love lamb

b fruit and yog

l cheese a ham salad wrap b

t chicken veg pasta rice

It was lovely haven't had it for ages. Actually going to put it down as 1 syn.

RibNSaucyArseCrack · 10/05/2022 20:56

Weighing in the morning and I’ve just come on, my first period since my baby was born 😢 I’m so fat and bloated right now and just want to eat chocolate.

DelurkingLawyer · 11/05/2022 10:18

Meal out was lovely - but hilariously I was starving by the time I got home! Starter was smoked salmon with some sort of radish salad - no dressing I could see. Main was chicken breast with fancy mushrooms in a mushroom sauce and crushed peas as a side. It tasted like it had been cooked quite plainly. My fruit plate was a load nicer than the dessert which was a not very interesting looking sorbet thing, not worth blowing the syns on IMO. But not having had bread there was no carbohydrate in it so I really didn’t feel full. Scoffed my remaining HexA when I got home and resisted DH’s chocolate bar.

Blondeshavemorefun · 11/05/2022 13:31

@DelurkingLawyer i would also be hungry

@RibNSaucyArseCrack have some chocolate. Syn it

Lost 2.5 pounds. So not too bad!

LeftyLou · 11/05/2022 14:35

Really good @RibNSaucyArseCrack 😊
Certainly don't deny yourself chocolate.
I daresay eating chocolate you would still have seen a loss.

RibNSaucyArseCrack · 11/05/2022 14:47

I had massive burger and chips for dinner last night and a load of chocolate 🤣

DelurkingLawyer · 11/05/2022 15:31

Great loss @RibNSaucyArseCrack !!

LeftyLou · 12/05/2022 20:41

B 2 x chicken sausage 1 2 x poached egg

Hi, plse can I join this thread. I've been doing online but not getting far so going to group on weds. I've got a wedding to attend in 11 weeks and really want to shift a stone. I've also got a 1 week holiday during this time so need to stay strong! I've done SW before and I do enjoy it but it will be good to get some meal inspiration
So today is day 1
I had a breakfast bake this morning
Dinner will be at my SIL but she's on SW too so I think it will be a low syn curry

Already planned for tomorrow
Breakfast bake again because I really enjoyed todays then chicken tray bake for tea with rice
Snacks will be fruit & yoghurt

Sorry for the essay!

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/05/2022 12:51

Welcome @smith19784

what is breakfast bake

OP posts:
smith19784 · 15/05/2022 12:56

Doesn't look great on my pic but I fry mushrooms, courgette, red pepper (could use any veg) then stir in some beans, Worcester sauce, ham (again, could use low fat sausages or any other meat) pop that in the oven with cheese using HEA so the cheese melts then I dry fry an egg to put on top. Some recipes just tell you to put the egg on top and bake it all in the oven together but I find the egg doesn't cook v well doing that.
