Plantsandpuddlesuits · 28/04/2022 18:37

I've bought myself a lovely food diary so I can look back in paper form what I've eaten and enjoyed etc. It lasts for a year so hopefully I'll be a lot lighter in a years time!

Here's yesterday.....

B.... shredded wheat and blueberries hexb and some hex a

Lunch..... jacket potato with tuna sweetcorn and jalapenos. Spinach and rocket on side.

Dinner.... chicken fajitas. With Cajun spice mix. 3.5 syns for a Sainsbury's wrap. Rest was free.

Treat....2 small chocolate eggs 6 syns

Today....all food done for the day and getting a very early night as have to be up at 5.20 tomorrow!

B.... shredded wheat and blueberries again

L..... jacket potato again but with chicken, tiny bit of.mayo, and salad.

D..... chicken curry. 7 syns for jarred sauce. Rice free. Steamed veg on the side.

Treat... just eating a sort of pretend apple crumble without the crumble so it's stewed apple with cinnamon and custard (5 syns for custard I'm not synning fruit)

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/04/2022 21:33

Aldi pesto sounds yummy. Do you have a box

@Plantsandpuddlesuits almost a year. Was meant to be married in May 2020 but cancelled due to covid - we moved to May 21 thinking all would be fine a year later ….

that also got cancelled as a week too early so then July last year and happened finally

honeymoon we have moved a few times May 20. May 21 June 21. July 21 due to flights being cancelled and gave up as our apartment we love wasn’t free so moved to May 22

JingleAndTonic · 29/04/2022 08:18

fab thank you @LeftyLou so I wasn't too far off with the 6 syns Grin

@Plantsandpuddlesuits lots of my meals are old hello fresh recipe cards that i adapt to being SW friendly, can't take any of the credit!

lost 1/2lb this week, very happy with that after being off it last week and not weighing!

B - crunchy nut with banana and coffee (HEA, 6 syns)

L - cheese and pesto panini (going to count the panini roll as HEB lol, 1 syn pesto and HEA)

T - crispy duck tacos with plum sauce and sesame wedges, this is a current hello fresh box and will be astronomical in syns but it's friday so won't count them Smile

JingleAndTonic · 29/04/2022 08:26

here's the aldi macaroni in all the flavours i've managed to acquire Grin it's usually in the baskets like the middle aisle, near the jars of curry sauce etc.

handy to have on hand!

Belledan1 · 01/05/2022 09:42

Hello. Hope you dont mind me posting. Does anyone do this on line? Have done classes before. Wfh mostly but the 2 days I am in are my local classes and I don't get in until after class starts. Dont drive and husband works various shifts so can't take me to other classes. Do you find you cheat more? Initially alot to pay out too. Thanks.

Belledan1 · 01/05/2022 09:45

Sorry think I put this on wrong thread.

Plantsandpuddlesuits · 01/05/2022 10:44

Welcome @RibNSaucyArseCrack and @Belledan1

I think @Blondeshavemorefun is an online member and I'm about to switch to online from group as I was finding getting out to group in the evening wasn't compatible with family life.

I don't think I'm necessarily cheating but definitely feel less guilty about taking the odd day off etc if life gets on the way whereas at group I felt my consultant didn't understand why I couldn't stick to the plan 100percent.

Here was yesterday....

Brunch....fake mcmuffin yet again..can't believe these are on plan they are sooo good!

Dinner....out at the In-laws so off plan. DM made lasagne and profiteroles.

Heres my plan for today....

B... just had SW friendly rice pudding I made in the slow cooker yesterday. Saving my hex b for dinner. With apple and pear chopped in it.

L... haven't decided yet between a deliciously Ella sweetcorn soup for 2.5 syns or a recipe I want to try off the SW app of feta and veg couscous. Will report back later 🙂

D.... really looking forward to this. We are having fake nandos. So a mix of m.and s garlic and herb chicken flatties and chicken yakitori kebabs they are all half a syn each. In a hex b soft pitta with spinach, rocket, cucumber and corn on the cob. Maybe a couple of the kids wedges too.

Treat... looking forward to.a g and t 5syns later in the bath with my kindle

DelurkingLawyer · 01/05/2022 12:33

Hi all! First post here. Back on the SW wagon with 5st to lose. Not attending group as I last tried just before Christmas and it’s not compatible with work. Seeking accountability while doing a weekly weigh in at home.

Today’s menu:

B: Posh baked beans (Joe Wicks Cowboy Beans without the sausages) 1.5syns
2 poached eggs
2 rashers back bacon

L: Tropical chia pudding: chia seeds (hexB), Skyr 0% yoghurt, mango, passion fruit, papaya, drop of coconut flavouring.

S: Cheese plate: apple slices, grapes and my hexA cheeses, cheddar and danish blue

D: leftover cold roast beef, 1 home made yorkie (4 syns), gravy (1.5 syns for granules), potatoes roasted in oven with oil
spray, Brussels, carrots, French beans.

Plantsandpuddlesuits · 01/05/2022 12:40

Welcome @DelurkingLawyer your menu sounds absolutely amazing. Some of us post what we have the day before some post plans for the day it's up to you whatever works best.

I have 2-4 stone to lose, 2 is my first goal then will re-evaluate but I think ideally it needs to be 4.

Starting weight was 13 stone 10 and am currently 13-4 so nearly half a stone off (in 3 months). Slow and steady. I'm only 5 foot so very obese. You don't need to post your weight btw!!!

Belledan1 · 01/05/2022 14:21

Thank you Plantsandpuddlesuits I might try doing it in my own. Got a friend who on plan and said will give me syns if cannot google them.

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/05/2022 15:34

Breakfast: greet yog and banana with cinnamon sprinkled on
Lunch/: sweet potato jacket with beans and HEA. Boring boring and should have added salad
I feel bloated to chuff now and still craving sweet
Tea: out for pizza and I'm just going to gave it and try pulling it back this week.

Plantsandpuddlesuits · 01/05/2022 18:52

Update to say I decided on the couscous thing for lunch today and it was really nice would have again.

Was a microwave pouch of couscous, I used the Ainsley harrier Turkish grains one, heated it up then added in griddled courgettes and red onion, and some peas. Plus some spinach and olives. Then some cubes of feta and mixed it all up. Made loads so plenty for 2 adults. Would also probably keep until the next day in the fridge for lunches
