No it wasn’t pasta blondes, it was chicken breast, mushrooms, onions and herbs in a creamy sauce made from chicken sauce and mushroom soup - the syns are in the soup. I had it with rice and will have the other half tomorrow night.

MummyInTheNecropolis · 08/01/2020 20:43

*chicken stock, not sauce

Blondeshavemorefun · 08/01/2020 21:01

Oh Campbell’s soup. Condensed. I used to love that

What are the syns of them - can’t stand mushroom but happy to try one of the others

My main problem is a drink in the evening. Have decided to stop completely at present. Night 3 so very early days!

B poached eggs on whole meal muffin

L homemade tomato and basil soup, WW fromage frais with raspberries

D sprout and bacon risotto (from 2 chubby cubs website). It's very tasty

S satsuma, mini crunchie, 2 rice cakes

So overall a good day, no alcohol though I won't pretend I couldn't fancy a G&T!

MummyInTheNecropolis · 08/01/2020 21:29

I used Heinz mushroom soup - 6 syns for the tin

Blondeshavemorefun · 08/01/2020 21:32

@Twigletgirl27 I agree. Spent the past 2w having a drink every night whether gin or baileys

@mummyin thanks

I've not been having a good run. Steadily going up in weight.

I'm on training a lot from today so not much control but doing my best. Lunch provided so no idea on syns - looked on app and guessing based on options. Had very modest portion and still felt hungry after lunch.

B - yoghurt and blueberries
L - lamb hotpot (6 syns), cabbage, carrots, melon for pudding
D - spag bol (homemade, 1 syn for oil)

S - white chocolate cookie (6 syns). Realistically will probably have a g&t as well but will try and resist...

Blondeshavemorefun · 09/01/2020 15:09

Oh @tiger. It’s so hard when at work and no choice

Sounds aHealthy lunch Imo

Yep well also knew I'd be tired tonight so made the bolognese last night so dinner tonight is simple and easy and I'm not tempted to eat the wrong thing! Doing my best! Also meant I could cook it for 3 hours so it is super tasty without too much fat.

troppibambini · 09/01/2020 16:33

Tiger sounds like you are doing the best you can in a tricky situation.

FiveNightsAtMummys · 09/01/2020 17:30

Got weighed at tesco today as I don't have scales at home anymore. Not sure how accurate it is on comparison to mine and sw but shows 4lb off since 17th of Dec. It said I was slightly taller (a quarter of a inch taller today) and underweight. I think I'm still in the healthy bmi just. Struggling to up what I'm eating (mentally struggling).

Today:
No breakfast
Lunch - 2 x poached eggs, mushrooms, toast, beans and tomatoes.
Tea - roasted veg with pasta and extra carrot battons.

Snacks - I have a fruit salad ready in the fridge and will prob have a ww yogurt, special k cereal bar or malt loaf and a mini curly wurly or malteaser reindeer one of the dc gave me (altho I don't want the reindeer as it's high in cals)

IBS has flared up and I'm feeling bloated and uncomfy in my stomach. Drinking lots of peppermint tea but not helping.

So sorry your struggling tiger, be kind to yourself. You can only do your best. Would it help to take a break from sw? Just focus on eating healthy and not worry about syns for a short while? I know in the past when I've done sw I've struggled and not got on with it until the last time so I think sometimes life just gets in the way.

MummyInTheNecropolis · 09/01/2020 20:57

I’ve been really peckish today despite big filling meals, think I’ll go to bed soon to stop myself from picking!

B - fruit and fibre (HEB), milk (HEA) and sugar (1)
L - tuna pasta salad (1 syn for mayo)
D - leftover chicken in mushroom sauce (3) with rice and veg
S - sushi (2.5), 5 rich tea fingers (5), yoghurt (0.5), grapes, mini pack of fizzer sweets (1.5)

deluminator · 09/01/2020 21:17

I'd love to join you all if I can

Brunch - eggs Benedict - 8 syns

Dinner - Sloppy joe in a pan followed by Apple and cinnamon baked oats.

Lots of speed fruit for snacks

TigerJoy · 09/01/2020 23:36

Thanks guys. There is just so much going on at home and with work I am finding it hard to be as tough on myself as I know I need to be to see results. I feel bad because I am doing it so craply but honestly I still feel like I'm on sw and making better choices than before. I worry if I feel like I have given up completely i will eat all the biscuits!

FiveNightsAtMummys · 10/01/2020 09:14

If it helps you Tiger than stick with it, I just thought if it was adding to the stress then a break might of been worth considering. Would ready meal help? The low calorie ones so you have something quick and easy and healthy to come home too?

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/01/2020 11:36

2lb loss for me :)

I’m happy with that :)

Sorry struggling @tiger agree having a micro meal may help so all there and just add veg

Or something simple like spag bol or chicken sw chips and veg

Well done @Blondeshavemorefun Smile

Had my first weigh in after starting last week 5.5lbs off. I'm so happy, I know it's the first week but it's given me a real boost. Motivation can go at a moments notice for me, which I why I don't weigh during the week. If I'd have had 1 or 2 loss (especially as it was Xmas) I'd have been distraught and probably given up.

troppibambini · 10/01/2020 13:56

Hi @deluminator and welcomeSmile

Done my back in. So painful just back from the doctors with strong anti inflammatories and pain killers. So say on my bum watching television trying not to move.

Blondes that's fab and thereef that's an amazing first week!

B-coffee
L-left over pasta
D-chilli, rice, corn on the cob and salad.

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/01/2020 14:01

I lost my gain from Xmas so back to square one again but it’s a loss :)

OP posts:
deluminator · 10/01/2020 16:00

Today I didn’t have breakfast as was going out for lunch to Wagamama. Had Chicken Teriyaki Donburi (9 syns) and the prawn lollipops (3 syns). Lovely it was.

Bbq roasted chicken and veg for dinner tonight as it’s Syn free

Am a target member and haven’t weighed in since well before Christmas. I know I need to lose a few lbs to be still in target when I go back next week or the week after.
