@Blondeshavemorefun 2lbs is great! well done!

I've not lost an ounce since weigh in on Monday (I know, I know, wait til weigh in!) so presumably NYE was a real scupper in the works. All the booze!

B - banana, blueberry skyr yoghurt (3 syns! only checked after I'd eaten)
L - smoked mackerel, beetroot, cucumber, tomato, fresh chilli, coriander, lemon juice (2 syn for mackerel)
D - gf pasta with cavolo nero (3 syn for oil)

S - almond milk in coffees (HEA), will probably do pears and chocolate sauce again as it was yummy, might try beating some yoghurt with vanilla essence to have as "cream" with it (1 syn)

troppibambini · 03/01/2020 10:45

Morning welcome to the new peopleSmile
This is a lovely thread very kind and supportive.

Blondes that's fab I would be well chuffed with only a 2lb gain

Mummy I bet that will fly off it's not a bad gain for that length of time off plan

Mrsclooney that can't be right you're correct you can have up to 15 a day did something have syns in and maybe you didn't realise?

Tiger flavoured bloody skyr does my head in I love it and there is just no need for all the syns in it Grin

B-raspberries, Greek yogurt and raspberry sauce (1)
L-pea and ham soup
D-chubby cubs zesty chicken and noodles

You will see the pea and ham soup a lot as I've made a cauldron fullGrin

@FiveNightsAtMummys that looks like a really great day! well done! 3 proper meals. They all look really well-balanced and tasty and nutritious.

How do you feel about it? How are you feeling after lunch?

I've just had a single square of Lindt chocolate (3 syns) and it did NOT go far :D

I walked into work so doing my normal 1.5 hrs walking today. Will try and go home early so i can walk in the sunshine and do some more work from home.

troppibambini · 03/01/2020 15:24

@FiveNightsAtMummys I was just going to say the same as tiger looks like a really good daySmile I find that if I don't have good healthy meals it all goes wrong so I'm trying to really focus on that too.

FiveNightsAtMummys · 03/01/2020 15:26

Thanks Tiger!! I feel good today, was a bit peckish not long after lunch but the special k bar sorted that out. It's nice to have healthier snacks in rather than all the xmas chocolate. Altho I've noticed the shops has Easter chocolate now! I've just done 50 mins on my walker, plan was 30 but I felt I had more enegry and was watching dr who at the time so just carried on.

Thinking of joining Slimming World on Tuesday, but wondering if I ca do it myself, time and money.

Yesterday - Breakfast - Pack of Go-ahead fruit slices and a chocolate.Lunch - 2 slices of seeded bread with 2 lerjammer light cheese cheese slices, 1 appleDinner - Jacket potato 5 heck chpolatas, encore piri piri sauce, 1 activia creamy yoghurt
Today - 1 chocolate, Go-ahead fruit slices.
Lunch - 1 piece of bread, 1 and a half oat cakes with 2 slices of lerjammer cheese
Dinner - Planning on making the Slimming World Sausage bake.

Waiting for an Iceland order as I type, have ordered lots of Slimming World meala, Alpen lights, got some Muller Lights free.
Aware that not all of the food I have eaten is plan friendly. Also know you are supposed to eat loads of fruit and veg but tbh too much expects my stomach, so just having some.
TBH nangy and hungry right now, might have a yoghurt shortly.

TigerJoy · 03/01/2020 16:44

Welcome @octopus37

I've always wondered whether you could just do any 2 slices of bread per day rather than the sw recommended ones! Maybe try and see how you get on? I do find the discipline good (when I follow it!)

I also can't eat much fruit or veg. After my dinner last night my stomach complained all throughout the night- way too much fibre! All those Brussels! Need to go back to baked potatoes I think. I try and eat more of low fibre fruit and veg so I'll peel my pears tonight for my snack.

I am also hangry so going to have some Muller light with some blueberries, and 30g of peanuts as my HEB for the day.

I'm glad to hear it @fivenightsatmummys keep up the good work!

Thatnovembernight · 03/01/2020 19:05

Evening Smile

B: melon, grapes and yogurt
L: poached eggs on toast and an orange
D: carbonara and a yogurt

I’ve had about 10 syns worth of snacks. Planning on having a Highlights hot chocolate and another orange later.

It’s great seeing what other people are having!

TigerJoy · 04/01/2020 09:46

Ok guys I have lunch out at Pizza Express and then the cinema. These are the things that usually wreck my weightloss. Going with a group and we're getting 2 or 3 courses

B - yoghurt and fruit
L - superfood or nicoise salad (8 even without dressing) or the tomato pasta (6) maybe an affogato after (ice cream 7). Will give my dough balls to others (20 syns!!!)
D - pastabake

S - will take some fruit to snack on in the cinema. Or nothing at all!

It'll be worth not having the doughballs, right? Or any wine? Don't mind skipping pizza as it is so synheavy

troppibambini · 04/01/2020 12:18

I always find pizza express tricky, I really like their pizza and seem to lose all will power when I walk through the door!

I tried some new cracker things today they were ok 18 cals so 1 syn each they don't taste of much but when you fill them (they are bowl shaped) quite nice

This was lunch more soup! With a ham tomato and pickled onion and chicken a avocado(1) and cucumber cracker.

Daily menu 2 - please come and write what you eat
troppibambini · 04/01/2020 12:19

God that soup looks grossGrinGrinGrin

FiveNightsAtMummys · 04/01/2020 12:39

Tiger have a look on their website theres nutritional information. I'd personal pick something around normal cals for a meal 500-600 ish. Then maybe sorbet for dessert as that looks low? Or if theres something you really want then have that and get straight back on it for the next meal. Can you use your heb for cinema? I use to take dried fruit mixed with grapes and a can of zero fizzy pop or skinny latte.

Blondeshavemorefun · 04/01/2020 13:48

I can’t see the pic of soup :(
I don’t see pics at the moment :(

TigerJoy · 04/01/2020 20:44

@blondeshavemorefun you look lovely as you are, congrats on getting the prelims done. This is a marathon not a sprint.

I ate all the right things and even bought blueberries to take into the cinema which were actually really satisfying. Loved the smell of popcorn around me. Loved the smell of pizza but didn't feel cheated by my meal. Had mozzarella and tomato salad to start then superfood with chicken, affogato as mentioned before. Couldn't eat it all but it was tasty.

I did drink wine which I shoudlnt have but eff it. No chance I could be preggers this month anyway. Had a brilliant time. Home now for pastabake and herbal tea and a doggy cuddle

TheReef · 04/01/2020 20:48

Brunch - bacon, quorn sausages, scrambled eggs, baked beans and 2 slices of kingsmill crustless wholemeal toast (heB)

Snack - banana

Tea - gammon, potato wedges, pineapple and mixed veg

Syns- 2 glasses of Prosecco

Blondeshavemorefun · 04/01/2020 21:40
