Dh was a sweetie pie, got some rather bad news and doctor no.2 was such an arse I have written a letter of complaint. Once I stopped crying I went to Maccy Ds for a treat and got a SMALL chocolate milkshake and a hamburger. Not great but it was much appreciated AND this diet is nudging me to make better choices. I have noticed when I have a "binge" treat or comfort eat I have much less and eat more lightly around it. Had venison stew when I got home (free).

B - ML (1.5) and a satsuma
L - Mark's 230cal prawn and rice noodle salad which is basically free
D - melanzane parmigiana HEA for cheese

S - 1 oatmilk coffee, 5?celebration chocolates

I'm trying to look after myself and not burn the candle at both ends as poor ds(6) has shingles he's been off all week.

Yeah I wondered whether people were being quiet because there are chocolate and mince pies EVERYWHERE or whether I need to shut up about my personal life!

Apologies if it's all been a bit much, I am just a very emotional eater and when I feel bad I tend to eat the wrong thing.

B - 1 boiled egg, bit of cucumber, ham, 2 radishes, 1 MUL (1.5 syn)
L - glutenfree wrap with beetroot houmous and falafel (no bloody idea, was catered lunch). 8 crisps. 1 banana.
D - aubergine parmigiana again - I used way too much light mozzarella (1 ball per portion!) plus parmesan yesterday so will need to work out syns, but my app has stopped working

I decided the other night that I don’t actually like celebration chocolate so I’m going to give them away......

Not had any other Christmas treats either so doing ok.

Not done well tonight but having a rough time with the pain. Doubling up on the morphine (under doctor's instructions!) And going to bed and hoping for a better day tomorrow.

Still not done too badly all things considered. One Ferrero rocher! Not half the box.

I'm starting to feel a bit rubbish because of all the treats creeping in (and wine!)
Felt the start of cystitis this morning a sure sign I'm a bit run down so upping my water and getting back on it.

B-raspberries and Greek yogurt
L-baked potato, beans and bacon with salad
D-spaghetti bolognese

Small child still off ill. So zero xmas prep done this week.

@blondes that is really annoying but yes your body clock is all out as is your appetite

S - 2 piece wholemeal toast, pate, another ML

Just realised I have been REALLY bad! Knew the snack was bad but didn't plan today at all. Had an exceptionally bad week but feeling better about life today. Got 2 meals out tomorrow. No booze. Walked 25k steps today and will walk tomorrow too

Sorry not posted. Decided to step away from slimming world now I'm at target. Was finding I would over eat then under eat to counteract it and it was becoming a bit of a cycle I needed to stop. I still love sw and I know that I can always go back to it but for now I'd like to eat less restrictive and just eat what I want basically but trying a bit of hde and stopping when I'm full and listening to my stomach for hunger ques rather than the clock. Wish you all the best for luck in your journeys and have a great xmas.
