Thanks for the warning @FiveNightsAtMummys, have skipped past as I'm starving waiting for tea to cook but will read later when I have a full tum!

Your pictures are amazing! Do you feel different? Like, less out of breath or anything?

I still have horrendous birth injuries and so I'm unable to exercise par a gentle dog walk each day. I'm really pleased it will be possible to lose by food optimising like you so thank you for inspiring.

It's my first weigh day tomorrow evening. Really looking forward to it as it will be my third night out since having DS. (Sw meeting are classed as an evening out for me!) Looking forward to having real adult conversations!!! I'm hoping for a good loss. I'm too nervous to weigh myself at home. Wish me luck!

FiveNightsAtMummys · 27/11/2019 17:39

Good luck @FlippingNorah I liked the social side of meetings too as I don't meet many people day to day so it was nice and I've made some good friends who I see outside of group now too. Can't wait for an update on how you've done.

Brilliant photos back there and 8st 8 is tiny!
I started on 10st 4 and aiming for 9st 7. I’m 5ft 5 so could go lower but will see how I feel. Pre kids (in my 20s)I was 9st but as I’m a slight pear, if I go that low now, I lose my boobs. Anyway, I’m 9st 12 now after 3/4 weeks.
B: boiled egg, toast, tea
L: salad with a little feta and green olives, small banana, an apple
D: 2 chicken sausages, half a baked potato , cauliflower cheese and green beans.

TigerJoy · 27/11/2019 20:30

Dinner. Was AMAZING!

filling in forms for hospital appt and my BMI is 29 so overweight but not obese! Really happy I have done so well. Really happy I am keeping on going. Also having decided I didn't need to stick with it this week has weirdly made it easier. I honestly think the principles are good and am making more of an effort with my healthy meals and limiting snacks

Meals as previously stated but snacks had a hot chocolate (4) peanuts (HEB) and a chinotto (3.5). Also was starving when I came home from work so had some cooked salmon and a banana. I know this kind of snacking is allowed but honestly it limits my weightloss - but having said that, previously I would probably have had a pack of crisps or some very buttery toast!

@flippingnorah I'm so sorry you have such bad birth injuries. But i have heard repeatedly that 80% of weightloss is what you eat. You can definitely do this xx

@Flippingnorah 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

TigerJoy · 29/11/2019 09:01

Lost 1.5lbs which is a nice surprise actually! I gained 1lb last week so that's only half a pound but I haven't been very strict this week, haven't been stressing about what I eat. Just been trying to have 3 proper meals a day (with butter if I want it) and plenty of speed foods. As a result I have felt much less like doing my hungry caterpillar impression. I'm determined to make this week a good week. I think really making the effort to have at least a 1/3 speed has helped.

B - scrambled eggs, muller light (1 syn), oat milk cappucino (HEA)
L - leftovers from yesterday - roast beef, jacket potato, salad
D - pasta bake (HEA)

FiveNightsAtMummys · 29/11/2019 09:27

Well done flipping Nora & tiger!

TigerJoy · 29/11/2019 09:29

I've just realised there's not much speed in that plan! :D
