Tiger that pasta looks amazing!! I had white bread toasted for breakfast! It was warburtons danish so only 3 syns and 1 syn worth of home made jam. Deffo going to keep buying it as kids like it and if I slip and have some it's quite low (compared to the delcious thick jacksons white bloomer we normally get)

I'm in target now (lower end) so don't need a gain, got quite a few off plan things next 2 weeks (4 planned days to be precise) so I'm hoping to loose maybe a 1lb or 2 to allow for these and any suprise off plan days/ eating all the chocolate evenings..but I'm just weighing at home for a few weeks anyway so less pressure.

lifesbetteraftertea · 23/11/2019 14:15

B - fruit and a hifi

L - pasta n sauce (1/2 syn)

D - pizza topped chicken chips and veg

Maybe have other hifi in evening but trying to stay low syns for couple of days to try and undo some of last nights damage

magnarocks · 23/11/2019 16:00

Lost 3.5lb at weigh in so lost 7.5lb in total this month. Which I'm pleased with as had a gain of 2lb one week too.

B: overnight grape nuts

Sn: hifi bar

L: homemade chilli and jacket potato, salad

Sn: yogurt, clementines, grapes

D: takeaway 😱 but for a good cause, family visiting and I'll have what I want but make sure I'm straight back on it tomorrow

troppibambini · 23/11/2019 17:16

@TigerJoy I'm jealous!! I want to see it but none of my kids do!! Pasta looks yum.

Well done @magnarocks that's a fab loss!!

I'm going out tonight with dh, it's his 50th and we are going out out to big city!!!
I've booked a fancy pants restaurant and all the kids are staying with my mum.

Bit unsure what to wear... feel like I look like the back end of a bus in everything..

TigerJoy · 23/11/2019 18:42

Frozen 2 was GREAT! as was lovely day with niece, but I'm knackered now

Lunch at pizza express was rank. Really nasty. I almost didn't eat it at all but then I would have had no lunch and I didn't want to make a fuss in front of niece on a treat day. Cheap oil i could taste on the base, cheap cheese - I haven't been in ages but it has really gone downhill. Nothing tasted good . Even the dough balls were dry! Had a kids american pizza.

The good news is we didn't have pudding. I had quite a bit of popcorn in the cinema and some coke zero and some crystallised ginger.

Drawing a line under the meal and going as low syn as possible for 2 days at least now to counteract it

Have lots of fish and green veg and will even give the potatoes a rest for a couple of days.

FiveNightsAtMummys · 23/11/2019 20:11

Today's food was:

Breakfast jam (1) on white toast (3) and a banana.

Lunch pancakes, quark and blueberries 1tsp choc shot (1/2)

Tea sw burger on wm breadcake (heb) with salad and beans. (1.5 syns for sauces and part hea for cheese slices)

Tonight I'm having a cadburys snowman (8.5), big bowl of mixed berries and kvarg white choc (1/2)

Did 40 mins on air walker and 30 min hooping. Feeling really tired today.

Blondeshavemorefun · 24/11/2019 07:17

@magnarocks well done. Fab loss

@TigerJoy sorry pe meal wasn’t great. Email and complain - I did this a while back and got a £20 voucher

@troppibambini hope 50th was fun

TigerJoy · 24/11/2019 09:04

@troppibambini I'm sure you looked lovely. You're doing really well. I hope you both had a lovely time

@magnarocks that's brilliant, well done!

@blondeshavemorefun not sure I want to go back ever anyway! I'd hear pe was in trouble and I think they're using cheaper ingredients. Carluccio's used to be fab and suddenly the quality got worse as it wasn't doing well financially and they cut costs with the food. Think the same thing has happened with pe. Niece was happy which is all that matters. Even their chilli oil wasn't olive oil, and wasn't even spicy!

FiveNightsAtMummys · 24/11/2019 18:10

Loving all the photos!! I can't post them for some reason! Anyway.

Today's food:

Breakfast was late and was grapenuts, banana and way too much milk (was delightful)

Lunch was just a snack as I'd only had breakfast a few hrs before. I had 4x slims (4 syns) with cheese spread (hea) and marmite followed by a massive portion of berries and greek yog.

Tea is sw beef koftas sliced up and stuffed inside a wm pitta (2nd heb) with salad and chipotle dressing (1/2 syn).

Snack later is cadburys snowman (8.5 syns) and maybe a yogurt and a apple.

problembottom · 24/11/2019 23:36

Really interesting to see what people eat. I reckon mine looks bad in comparison to most but it works for me! I’ve lost every week.

Breakfast - wholemeal toast x 2, butter and jam, tea with skimmed milk
Lunch - crumpet, butter, grated cheddar cheese
Dinner - big bowl of pasta with tuna in spring water and grated cheddar cheese
Snacks - apple x 2, banana

TigerJoy · 25/11/2019 07:19

@problembottom not a problem if you're losing!

TigerJoy · 25/11/2019 07:23

Was beyond knackered yesterday so had a pizza when I got home instead 😬

B - porridge (hea heb)
L - 3 bean chilli and cauliflower rice
D - yesterday's planned dinner of salmon and veg

I'm lucky that dh loves beans in all forms and isn't that fixated on eating meat. I gave up all meat for a month last year and it really shifted my eating habits - to my astonishment dh is as happy eating veggie sausages as regular ones so we typically have those. Much easier to be low fat

lifesbetteraftertea · 25/11/2019 07:30

Well after another diabolical weekend....
any tips for staying on track? I have great willpower mon - fri then it all goes to pot!
B - pineapple, mango and hifi with coffee
L - ham salad
D - pasta with dolmio stir in so 4.5 syns
Coffee on avo in work other hifi
Going to aim for 5ish syns now till weigh in on Friday!

Blondeshavemorefun · 25/11/2019 08:36

@problembottom as long as losing then not a problem. How much have you lost over x many weeks /months

You don’t seem to have any veg or salad in your meals so no speed

And personally (think I’m a piglet) a crumpet wouldn’t keep me going at lunchtime

But if it’s working for you ...... :)

@TigerJoy df refuses all sw meals so we cook separately at mo

@lifesbetteraftertea. Again if losing weight then a bad weekend is countered out by being good rest of week

Blondeshavemorefun · 25/11/2019 08:39

Df also can’t understand how I eat a fried breakie most days and call it a diet

Tho he agrees I’ve lost weight round face - boobs (R.E.M. I can do my coat up) and bum - jeans baggy

B toast b ham egg beans toms

L spag Bol and veg and cheese a

T salmon rice green beans and cabbage

S crisps 6 bar 3

Tiger my dh also likes veggie stuff now as he tried some of mine. I personally love the sainsburys meatfree burgers, there my favourite!
He also loves quite alot of sw recipes I just adjust to suit what we both like.

Today's food.

Breakfast - Berries (loads like 160g) with greek yogurt.

Lunch - really fancied weetabix after my work out so had that with a massive banana (it weighed almost 200g!) I put loads of milk in est 300ml.

Tea - I'm going to have iceland chicken chargrill (2 syns), jacket potato, cheese (hea) and some veg.

Snacks - I've already had a latte sachet (3 syns), later I'm planning having a mini curly wurly (3), party ring bag (4) and mini malteaser bunny (3) with fruit.

lilgreen · 25/11/2019 15:39

5.8lbs lost over 3 weeks. I’m chuffed as I only want to lose 5 more and thought it wouldn’t shift as I’m not overweight BMI wise. Just calorie counting for me on YAZIO app.
B: boiled egg, brown toast
L: Tuna and potato with salad, apple
D: (will be) veggie chilli with salad

lilgreen · 25/11/2019 15:40

Should say my daily calorie limit is 1320

TigerJoy · 25/11/2019 15:47

DH eats what I eat as he's writing a dissertation and I'm looking after him by feeding him. To be fair usually he cooks only once a week so it's not a huge change...in many ways he's a modern man, in many ways still a Southern Italian...

God cauliflower rice is horrid. Not bothering with that again!

Feeling stressed at work and eaten 2 pears and 2 satsumas instead of the jaffa cakes I fancy. Meeting a friend for a coffee shortly, really want a hot chocolate but will have a decaf oat milk cappucino instead. Will power.

Gone a bit porkier again after the weekend (yes I know, not weigh in, but I really do need to keep an eye on it over the next few days). Glad I changed my weigh in to Friday - seems much more kind on yourself!
