@Blondeshavemorefun, yep, I'm counting it as a flexible syns day, and can't have been too bad. I'm talking a teaspoon of hummus etc - it was nice to have a few small bits of what I fancied though!

B - porridge (HEB, HEA, 1 syn for sugar)
L - leftover chickpea and pumpkin curry, rice (say 2 syns for oil)
D - unknown, but might try and get some meat or fish as my day is currently looking carb-tastic

S - pear, 1 muller light (1 syn). Might try and leave it there, and keep my syns low today

FiveNightsAtMummys · 04/11/2019 13:31

B - grapenuts and blueberries (part hea and 1 heb)

L - smoked salmon, poached eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes.

D - tuna mayo salad with boiled egg.

S- melon, strawberries, greek yog and fibre one bar

TigerJoy · 04/11/2019 19:17

@blondes sorry the soup wasn't a success, I'm quite suspicious of many of the sw recipes

Today went a bit tits up

I forgot the curry was about 7 syns from the coconut milk

Got home and found DH has bought a blinking baguette and i ate loads with butter 🙄🙄🙄

Dinner is baked gammon, baked potatoes, roast carrots and butternut squash, steamed baby sprouts.

When dinner is cooked I'm making sweet potato chocolate brownies. Not worked out syns yet but hopefully less than regular ones as not too much fat and only a bit of oat flour

Blondeshavemorefun · 04/11/2019 22:23

Yes pickles onions. Tinned toms. Tin beans and stock cube and water

It was ok but just tasted beany

Sorry @blondes and @troppi for your poorly children. I hope they feel better soon

I've had a disastrous cooking evening. Dinner took absolutely ages to cook, think i overloaded the oven with ham potatoes and roasting root veg. Brownies were complicated needed like 3 bowls and the magimix and they are awful! Completely inedible!

Here's to a better tomorrow

Blondeshavemorefun · 05/11/2019 09:14

Shame they weren’t nice @TigerJoy

Awful night with toddler. Coughing and cold and lots of crying for me. Didn’t went daddy

B egg toms sausage 1 bacon beans

L

T chicken and veg stir fry and noodles

At friends for lunch so prob jacket or sarnie

Oh no blondes I hope she feels better soon it's that awful time of year when it feels like someone is always ill.
Tiger oh no!! I hate when you spend and ages cooking something and it all comes out wrong.

Dd is much better she's not been sick since last night and has had some toast so hopefully that's the end of it. She's desperate to go to bonfire night tonight, I've told her if she gets to tonight with no more sick she can go (will be 24hrs)

B-raspberries and yogurt
L-baked potato and left over Spanish stew
D-sausage casserole and red cabbage

dexterslockedintheshedagain · 05/11/2019 13:42

It's horrid when your children are ill, isn't it? Hope they're all better soon

FiveNightsAtMummys · 05/11/2019 14:20

Lost half a pound! Dropped under target again, got 4 weeks to gain it or I'm kicked out. Looks like 2 pairs of jean's next week (just kidding). Food today:

Breakfast - costa small skinny latte (I count this as 1/2 hea). 1/2 Terry's chocolate orange muffin and 1/2 yule log (approx 21 syns).

Lunch - morrisons mini turkey Christmas dinner. (I worked out approx syns to be 19.5)

Tea - veg meatballs (1/2 syn) and butternut squash spaghetti with 40g rf (hea) cheese in home made sauce.

Snacks - not used any heb so might have some dates/prunes and a couple of alpens. Altho I have some twixes too so might just have one of those (10 syns).

magnarocks · 05/11/2019 16:01

Also joining in with the poorly gang, toddler has a nasty cough and OH is now getting a temperature. 🤒 hope everyone's LO's feel better soon, sending wine. And chocolate.

Find it hard to stay on plan when I'm tired. 😴

TigerJoy · 05/11/2019 17:32

Ditto I hope all small children feel better soon and their mummies get some proper sleep! It is so hard to stick to plan when you're tired @magnarocks, when I sleep badly and have to teach I graze on biscuits all day to keep going.

I've turned into the hungry caterpillar again and don't know why - could easily eat my dinner now and have to wait 2 hours. Just had a whole load of fruit and then 30g peanuts (7 syns) to try and keep me going. And I'm out for dinner! Will try and choose sensibly, but I know where we go everything will be smothered in fat. Trying to decide whether lamb chops and veg will be best or cod with braised fennel - which will probably be swimming in butter.

Lubilu28 · 05/11/2019 18:18

Breakfast - 2 Asda chicken chipolata sausages (1 syn each)

Snack - hifi bar (1/2 HEB)

Lunch - chicken and Mediterranean veg crustless quiche (SW recipe, it’s gorgeous)

Snack - apple, light and free yogurt (1 syn), hifi bar (1/2 HEB)

Dinner - cheesy chicken risotto (1/2 HEA)

Pud - white choc buttons (3 1/2 syns), butterkist popcorn (3 syns)

Total 9 1/2 syns

MummyInTheNecropolis · 05/11/2019 18:39

I’ve been off plan for a couple of months as had a lot going on, life just got in the way so I had a big gain. However, I’ve been back on track now for a week and weighed in last night with a 9lb loss so I’m happy to be back on track! Today’s food:
B - mango
L - beef stew
D - bolognese pasta bake with cheese (HEA)
S - muller hazelnut yoghurt (1.5), mini tube of fizzer sweets (1.5)

I’ll probably have some hifi bars later as haven’t had a B choice yet.

Blondeshavemorefun · 05/11/2019 21:38
