B - bran-flakes & milk
L - cheese sandwich with 2 slices of white bread and ICBINB spread
S - Diet Coke, black coffee, 2 hifi bars, 1 aero snack bar

@Blondeshavemorefun, nope. Butterfly chicken is 3.5 syns, spicy rice is 2.5 syns and I had the halloumi as my HexA + 3 syns. The long stem broccoli was free. 👍🏻

magnarocks · 31/10/2019 07:17

@Blondeshavemorefun speed, not free, you know what I mean.

magnarocks · 31/10/2019 07:18

@Blondeshavemorefun she's gorgeous! How old is she? I have a v boisterous almost three year old boy. 🥰

TigerJoy · 31/10/2019 09:59

B - microwaved bramley apple with 1 tsp honey and greek yoghurt (2.5 syns apparently)

L - celeriac soup, 2 syns for butter

D - if I can get off my arse, beef stew to use up the swede in the fridge with mashed potato, syns for the butter

S - 2 hifi, some coffees made with Califia vanilla unsweetened almond milk, which is crazy expensive but tasty.

Told DH about 2.5lb weight loss, said I was nearly back to my weight when he met and he made a VERY unwise comment about how there was "a lot of me to love" even then. Yes, overweight, should have been 2 stone lighter, but I was a size 14. Feeling pretty depressed and know I need to aim to lose 3 stone not 1. Have kept 12 stone as my target, when I get there I'll drop it to 10 stone. Seems like a work of speculative fiction though, I've not been 10 stone since I was 18. Hmm

Blondeshavemorefun · 31/10/2019 10:17

Bad hubby @tiger!!

Year ago I did ww and went 15s to 10.5 - size 18 to 10

I looked gaunt yet they said bmi 20/25 was 9.5s- 11.5 I think

Bmi of 20 doesn’t look good on me

I’m never going to get back to a 10. It doesn’t sit me

I would be happy back to 14

And dd is 2.5. My miracle baby 💓

@blondes thanks! I just want to have a healthy pregnancy, if it's at all possible for me, then I can think about longer term.

You've had a good week, I hope you have a good loss xx

FiveNightsAtMummys · 31/10/2019 14:33

My original target was 10st7 I NEVER thought I'd be 8st9! I don't think I've been that weight since I was a teenager!!

P.s the butterfly chicken is free if u ask for skin removed. Also sweet potato mash is free.

JBFletcherismyaunt · 31/10/2019 16:50

This is a great thread and very inspiring. I’m on week 3, away on holiday but been food optimising and sticking within my syns allowance (apart from one day had 24) so really hoping for a loss at Monday’s weigh in! @FiveNightsAtMummys chocolate kvarg sounds amazing, where do you get that from?

FiveNightsAtMummys · 31/10/2019 17:39

There from Asda, I like the white chocolate one best but the others are just as nice. Great when your hungry on an evening but don't have many syns left or in a dessert etc

magnarocks · 31/10/2019 18:23

Today's food:

B: porridge with blueberries, raspberries and tbsp golden syrup (2.5)

L: chicken, parsnip, sweet potato, broccoli (1) yogurt (0.5), small M&S chocolate (2)

D: mayflower curry (4) with lots of leftover roast chicken, onion, mushroom and peas and rice (1)

Sn: 2 x lotus biscuit (6)

Total 17 syns

magnarocks · 31/10/2019 18:24

Also had SW wedges with dinner 😬 🤦‍♀️

TigerJoy · 31/10/2019 19:33

Well done @fivenights you're an inspiration!

I'm having a really good day so I am treating myself to a massive g&t in the hope i will cheer the f* up

Dinner is stew, mashed potato and steamed kale. With the gin I'm still only at something like 12 syns.

Been quite hungry today but not in a bad way. Just felt quite light.

JBFletcherismyaunt · 31/10/2019 19:37

Thanks @FiveNightsAtMummys, will give them a try

TigerJoy · 31/10/2019 20:44

@jbfletcherismyaunt you might still be fine - this last week I had one day 20 and one of 30 syns and still lost.

It's great you're doing it on holiday. Good luck this week!

JBFletcherismyaunt · 31/10/2019 20:55

Fingers crossed for you today @blondeahavemorefun!

I have found this group way more interesting and supportive than actual group. It's also inspired me to eat different things, definitely

JBFletcherismyaunt · 01/11/2019 08:03

Thanks for the warm welcome @Blondeshavemorefun. Good luck for wi today!

troppibambini · 01/11/2019 08:17

Good luck blondes!
Welcome @JBFletcherismyaunt I've found this thread really good
Tiger hope the gin was good and your feeling a bit better

I'm knackered. The sugar has crept in the last couple of days and the fact I have a shed load of sweets in because of last night.
I don't really feel like I've got lots of children most of the time but this week I've felt every single one of them Grin
Everyone seems to have chosen this week to have lots of stuff going on that needs either me physically being there or emotionally being there.
I know it goes with the territory but wow this weeks been hard going.

I'm out tonight with some mums from the youngests reception class who I don't really know followed by six hours of kids parties tomorrow that's a fantastic combination!!!

I must behave myself and be home at a reasonable time.....
