Never done it myself, but I'd imagine sweet potatoes in a brownie would be lush! I have used courgette in a chocolate cake recipe before, made it lovely and moist.
Let us know how you get on!

magnarocks · 28/10/2019 09:42

@dexterslockedintheshedagain what's the recipe for your satay sweet potato or is it just a bit made up? Sounds amazing and have some spinach and SP to use up x

FiveNightsAtMummys · 28/10/2019 11:16

What do I do? I have scales at home that I never move but someone's moved them...anyway got on them today and its showing exactly same as last wi.

Do I a) just go as normal, scales might be out as they've moved. b) wear Jean's that will add 1lb on? Partner says wear normal clothes , friend says wear Jean's.

dexterslockedintheshedagain · 28/10/2019 11:34

@magnarocks here you are!
I used harías paste instead of curry paste, and 2tbsp of powdered peanut butter tho.
That's the beauty of it, you can put whatever you want in it!!

That's HARISSA paste, it should say lol

troppibambini · 28/10/2019 12:27

Sounds yum but it has 43 syns in GrinShock

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/10/2019 14:37

Drink a pint of water or eat Before you go

Or wear jeans and jumper and have a stone in your pocket

@fivenights do you really have to gain? If so have a big lunch and glass of water before and regular clothes. People starve themselves before, why not do the opposite? What will happen if you don't gain?

Change of lunch - m&s ham in mustard sauce with mash and veg,(2.5 syn), really tasty, had extra runner beans plus a yoghurt 0.5 syn

magnarocks · 28/10/2019 16:16

Also changed lunch, had a bit of a picky thing instead, had two slices of ham, 40g reduced fat cheddar (HexA), chopped into cubes, cherry tomatoes and pickled onions.

dexterslockedintheshedagain · 28/10/2019 17:04

AAARRGGHHHHHH 43 SYNS
AAARRRGGHHHHH
But I did make it stretch to 5 portions, so that's not sooooo bad is it? And powdered peanut butter would knock a couple off surely?? ^

dexterslockedintheshedagain · 28/10/2019 17:05

And the coconut milk was reduced fat ^ Blush

dexterslockedintheshedagain · 28/10/2019 17:06

@FiveNightsAtMummys you want some of my sweet potato satay?!! Grin

dexterslockedintheshedagain · 28/10/2019 17:09

Sorry to keep on but the harissa paste was home made, so syn free. Can anyone tell I'm panicking??!!

FiveNightsAtMummys · 28/10/2019 17:17

If I don't gain 1lb over next 4 weeks they kick me out basically. Weigh in is mid morning so I have time to check sales b4. Oh I do love sweet potato dexter send some over!! Currently stuck in traffic, starving!!

troppibambini · 28/10/2019 17:18

@dexterslockedintheshedagain don't panic!!
We can make this better!!Grin
Knock off 11.5 for reduced fat so 31.5
Knock off 3 for harissa if it's not got oil in so 28.5
Divide it by five is about 5.5 per portion.

There we go much better!!

troppibambini · 28/10/2019 17:19

Sorry I'd already swapped peanut butter for powder!!! Grin

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/10/2019 17:29

Wasn’t my lasagne 9 with the white sausage

It’s high but not awful

@FiveNightsAtMummys money or a stone in pocket or phone down bra

It’s a bit bad they say you have to gain weight

dexterslockedintheshedagain · 28/10/2019 17:55

troppibambini · 28/10/2019 18:35

@dexterslockedintheshedagain Grin GrinGrin

TigerJoy · 28/10/2019 19:08

@dexter hahaha phew! It turned out alright in the end 🥳

It's all gone a bit pete tong here. Had a piece of toast when i got home forgetting I had porridge for breakfast. Currently at 16 syns today and wanted to destress with a gin...not happening... sigh

@fivenights eat as much chocolate as possible this evening, have some red wine, yorkshire pudding and hot buttered toast. Go out for a McDonalds tomorrow? Buy one of those bras you fill with wine to take to festivals and fill it up?

FiveNightsAtMummys · 28/10/2019 19:17

I'm going to toby carvery and mcdonalds this week Tiger! I still have the losing mind set..but then my friend has recently joined, my partner has started eating healthy it's all around me "be good" etc.

What's everyone making for tasters? We've got mrs slinky tomorrow and its tasters too.

TigerJoy · 28/10/2019 20:09

Haha! What's mrs slinky? I have seen it's tasters so might make another round of blackbean chocolate cake.

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/10/2019 20:55

I don’t go to group so don’t make anything

FiveNightsAtMummys · 28/10/2019 22:07

It's just one of the awards they have, greatest looser, woman of the year etc. Members at group vote. I've not had chicken casserole for ages, sounds delicious!!
