Hi ladies can I join you? I am not new to SW, been on and off for years, but never been able to stick to it too long and always go back to my awful eating gorging habits. I am unsure why... Any helpful ideas or tips to prevent this please?

Hi Tatiwatanga. If the issue is binge eating then SW/WW may not be the right approach for you - perhaps take a look at the binge eating support threads?

I like my food but I wouldn't say I ever gorged on food. Just ate the wrong things because I was poorly.

I find having 3 meals a day and snacks of fruit and veg really helps. I did used to eat a lot of crisps. I don't eat crisps everyday now and things like quark really help stave off me wanting the wrong foods.

It may be worth chatting to the consultant of the class you plan to join.

takiwatanga I recently read 'ditching diets"by Gillian Riley. It is a bit heavy going in places but there are some strategies I'm trying to remember to use. It does seem to be aimed at addictive eaters.

Struggling at the moment. Have had a colitis flare up since Wednesday and the only thing I can eat if white bread, cheese and crackers. It’s calmed down so going to try get back on it today. So bloated and feel like crap.

Lost 2.5lb. So 2lb below target. Hoping to lose 1lb for next week then I am at the bottom of my target for Budapest x

1.5 off for me today, which takes me to my first stone. Very pleased with that. And to be honest pleased with any loss, my period arrived today and I’ve felt terrible. I’d had a super good week so was hoping for more than 1.5.
Next week, maybe my numbers will make up for it then?

Today's food

B Overnight oats, banana, coffee.
L chicken and egg salad, fruit (2.5)
S ryvita with cottage cheese and pickle (1)
D fish with veg and pasta, cream cheese sauce (6)
S Muller light and toffee hifi (4)

So 13.5 syns today. Resisted doughnuts and muffins in the staff room today at work so feeling very virtuous!

Hi all. Sorry I haven't been on for ages- just have felt too upset!

I have now been doing it for four weeks, and I have lost a total of 1.5 pounds. It sucks. I have 2 stone to lose at least.

Prob is, I really like the diet and feel it's the only one I can stick to. I don't know what to do.
