When I had my new member talk the consultant stressed that food wasn't so much unlimited but that you should eat until you feel comfortable and not to over eat. She mentioned numerous times.

Our current one says the same. So it's not so much you eat until you are sick but by you learning what is your appetite.

She also talked about eating a protein rich food to allow you to fill yourself up along with speed foods.

Half pound on....not great news when I've been exercising all week too. Can only hope for better next week!
Well done all who lost.

ALemonyPea · 19/09/2018 17:45

Well done losers. Commiserations on the gains.

I’ve been walking to and from work this week. Wasn’t fun today in this wind 💨

FoofFighter · 19/09/2018 20:46

Been away for a while too. I have been a target member since April (final target). Although I am still following SW my portion sizes have crept up. I am now 2lb out of target, so not attending group as I will have to pay. I am trying to shift it but the scales seem to be stuck!

I miss group as they are always very social. I still do my walking group on a Thursday so meet up with a few members then.

ALemonyPea · 20/09/2018 15:52

Well done Jace

2.5lb off for me this week.

Groovee · 20/09/2018 16:30

Well done @ALemonyPea

Looks like most of you had a good week of losses, that's really great & motivating.

OwlinaTree · 20/09/2018 21:51

Great losses everyone!

Tobermory · 20/09/2018 21:59

Well done people on your losses!

I’m feeling really peckish.
I’ve had some healthy free bits and pieces (and some vodka) currently on 8.5 syns so I could have some Aldi lentil snacks.
Maybe I should just go to bed!!

ALemonyPea · 21/09/2018 21:30

Well done losers.

Having an iffy day today, so much stress this week and have eaten three peanut butter cookies, gone over my syns. It could get really messy, but have resisted the rest of the packet and trying to keep my mind occupied. Can’t go down that wormhole again.

OwlinaTree · 21/09/2018 22:24

Well done lemony, it's hard to stop when you start so good on you.

Ok day here, have had 14.5 syns today!

sunshineNdaisies · 22/09/2018 07:52

so apparently there are iceland discount cards being given out in classes. this is unfair to those who do the diet online, particularly disabled people like me. Are we going to get the same offer?

ALemonyPea · 22/09/2018 12:21

I went to bed, seemed the safest space. Feeling better today.

The discount cards are for 10% off between October and November on anything, does seem a bit silly that online members miss out.

Groovee · 22/09/2018 15:49

We never got the discount card but as I already have a bonus card apparently I will need to phone up and it takes approximately 33 minutes to do!

Eating has been fine but I feel ill. Can't work out if I have picked something up at work or if it's my fibromyalgia or chronic fatigue flaring. Colleagues commented that I looked flushed yesterday.

OP posts:
raisedbyguineapigs · 22/09/2018 16:28

Online member pay the same don't they? It is a bit unfair they don't get the cards. Apparently its initially 10%off but there will be other offers loaded on periodically.

Groovee · 22/09/2018 16:57

If anything online members get a worse deal. I'm at target and don't need to pay unless I go out of target. However online members need to pay to keep access which seems really unfair. They also don't get the countdown offers and theoretically pay more.

raisedbyguineapigs · 22/09/2018 19:03

I wonder if it's too encourage people to stay to group? Would be better to make group less like Little Britain!

sunshineNdaisies · 22/09/2018 19:27

I did go to groups in the past when I was less disabled. I noticed that the consultant (one of the top ones in the country apparently) gave all her attention to particular members and I couldn't get the help or attention I wanted. She insisted on everyone sharing how they did that week, even those who had gained, which I did not like. She made us all hand in our food diaries but never commented on mine, yet she had lots of people in the magazine. She seemed to single out people for intensive support so that it would make a better story or something.

Long story short, I wouldn't like going back to a class even if I could. I only really use the website to log my weight but it's pretty shit. I think once my 3 month membership is up, I'll do it alone as I know what to do now and there's plenty of FB groups to help.
