Ok so I bloody need to stick to this. I'm planning on a lovely hol over Xmas/ new year 23 weeks to lose 2 1/2 or 3 stone.
I always do half a week and then complain it's not working quick enough.Anyone want to join me and give me a kick up the arse from time to time?

I was doing so well... until DH came home with bloody maltesers!

Better today. Mcdonalds...... salad for lunch. Gah. At least I behaved! Home made chilli for dinner. Now eyeing up strawberries and Skyr for pudding.

Morning all, didn't do too bad yesterday.. pinched a few chips off the boys plate which I shouldn't have but apart from that doing ok!

Hope you got to the meeting @Redshoesx I've always found them very welcoming.

Today's challenge water water and more water! Omelette planned for dinner this evening - I find eggs very good for weight loss 🙌

Morning  I did okay yesterday, meant to be going for lunch today but might cry it off - baby isn't too well.

It was probably a bad week to start as I had three meals out this week, but I've chosen healthier choices and cut back on the crap.

Group was actually lovely, really welcoming.

How's everyone else getting on?

Well done @Redshoesx groups are generally very welcoming so that's a positive start. I've been far more conscious this week of my food intake and also stayed off the wine in the evenings. Just back from my gym class to 🙌 I'm going to step on the scales Monday am and see where I'm at.. water water and more water .. of and fruit!! Keep going everyone.

Well done red shoes! Good on you, you e done something important for yourself.
I’ve had a bad week or so, tons of boozing but been good today. I’m finding I’m getting better at getting back on the wagon after a blip which is huge for me.
Trying to have loads of speed food. Let’s have a good weekend all!

Hi all can i join.
Well done to everyone loosing, getting back on the wagon and joining groups.
Ive been doing it from home for 5 weeks with about 3 stone to loose (i may increase this but my target is to get to a 10, currently a 16).
I weigh in on a Saturday then flexi syn at the weekend as trying to instill something i can folllow long ter.
I didnt think id loose this week as busy girls weekend last week. I did try to watch what i drunk and make better choices with the chinese food, but i know i went over syns and i nearly fell of the wagon. Instead i lost 2lb and hit my 1st stone Grin so thinking about it i probably wasnt that bad.
Im back to it 100% this week though, food plans, food diary, a top up shop and lots of exercise for me.
I really want to hit my next stone in 6 weeks its soo hard as i love wine and chinese food.

Welcome @ALittleBitConfused1 ☺️ have you tried a fakeaway? Pinch of Nom do great recipes for Chinese good that taste very similar to a takeaway and are either Syn Free or really low in syns x

I ocassionally do the diet coke chi ken with noodles and five spice which is a bit chinesey but i was with family last weekend so couldnt really not participate.
I did make better choices though and tbh it was well worth the treat lol.
Im going to try and do a couple of sp days next week.
Im out for dinner later too....already checked out the menu and sure i can do it pretty much syn free.....if i can stay away from the desert menu that is 😣

I've lost 2.5lb already according to my scales but they may be different from the ones at SW (I hope I've lost that much!!!)

What does everyone do for snacks? My dinners are fairly healthy/low syn, it's the snacks I'm struggling with?

Had chicken gyros, rice and salad for tea and going to the gym shortly but I know I'll be starving after.

I always try to make the best choices so usually they aren't that SW friendly but they are better than what they used to be...
I eat boiled eggs and make mini quiches. And any fruit that's on sale at Aldi.

@Redshoesx I find nuts and fruit good for snacking. Also don't be frightened to eat your syns .. my fav treat for eating my syns is a ripple ooo 🤩

Im more of a svoury snacker so usually have some chicken bits or boiled eggs in the fridge. I also make crisps out of potato skins. If i fancy something sweet its usually grapes or im crazy on melons so usually have one of those cut up in the fridge.
I had an ok day yesterday. Had some alcohol but i flexi syn st the weekend so i will accout for that throughout the week.
I went with the chicken. Removed the skin. Swapped fries for jacket and helped myself to a big portion of salad. I synned some sour cream and resisted the chocolate fudge cake 😁
Anyone tried the koko chocolate milk alternative. I hate milk so sometimes use it as my a instead of cheese. 200 ml carton (i tip 50 ml awway) and its classes as an a choice. It is immense.

Hi All. I hope it’s ok for me to join you guys. I have been failing to lose weight all 2018, but at least haven’t been gaining- which is all I did in 2017! I’ve been out and bought a trolley load of healthy food for the coming week. I usually struggle with SW as I love bread and butter but am really going to plan well and try hard. Good luck all for the week ahead.

Hi all, may I join too? Joined SW five weeks ago, doing ok on plan, half stone gone, but a bit glum at the thought of how long it'll take to lose another 2 1/2. Afraid I'll stop when I lose just a dress size( 18 to 16) as even that would make me feel better about myself, but I know it's finally time to go for it and really get to my ideal weight. Hard at my age (60).

Hi Maimeo the way i look at it is before i was on sw i was probably putting on a pound a week so even if i have a week
where i loose 1lb it means its one saved and one lost.
Maybe you could try a couple of sp days a week you get an extra b choice so you could have more bread and its meant to boost your weight loss. I try to do at least one a week.
I had meatball pasta bake last night with salad and garlic bread, so will have left over salad and bake for lunch and something light tonight maybe chicken and peppers with veggie rice. Im always knackered on a Monday so cant be bothered to cook much.

Wooya fingers crossed for your stone. I hit my first stone this sat and it felt so good. Two people told me sat you can really see it now so that spurred me on to resist the chocolate cake when out for dinner at the weekend Grin
