New thread to see in 2018. Everyone welcome.

Having lost 4st in 2017... I'm looking at target by Valentine's Day if possible.

Look forward to welcoming everyone back and welcome to those embarking on their journey x

If you're a vegan and on Instagram follow slimmingworld_jsg, she's got loads of tips.

Groovee I've been tempted by that Nandos frozen yoghurt do you mind me asking how did you measure/syn it?

boats16 · 17/02/2018 21:57

Can I have 2 weetabix for breakfast with skimmed milk and count them as HEB ?

Groovee · 17/02/2018 22:12

@eeyoredebbie one of my class told me it was 3.5 syns a portion. Dd turned it into a turd though as you saw 😂. But the bowls were quite small so probably one of them not so turd like will be 3.5 syns.

Yes boats. If you take the milk from you HEA it will be fine x

Thanks groovee , will try them as a change from porridge, with some sliced banana on top Smile

MumInTheCity · 18/02/2018 17:38

Well I was completely off plan yesterday, had a 3 course Caribbean meal followed by lots of cocktails. Back on track today though! Made a lovely chicken korma for dinner, 2 syns per portion

B - banana
L - mugshot (1 syn)
D - chicken korma (2), rice, onion bhajis (syn free), salad and yoghurt dip

Tomorrow will be my 6th weigh in! I’m hoping for 2 lbs down to take total weight loss to 20! Grin I did 4 days sp which I found fairly easy so I just hope it’s represented on the scales....
Good luck to those weighing tomorrow Grin

boats16 · 18/02/2018 18:28

You'll have to forgive me Mollie , What does 'sp' stand for ? Confused. I dont go to a group but am following SW through reading and chatting.

Littlepig8834 · 18/02/2018 21:14

Can I join? Rejoined last Thursday. Lost over 5 stone on SW previously so I know it works for me.

I have evening weigh ins this time round, what do others eat in the day before evening weighs? I'm worried about eating too much in the day!!

Groovee · 18/02/2018 21:57

Boats Speed and Protein. You can only eat speed foods and protein foods so half a plate of each at each meal and 2 HEB's are allowed.

Groovee · 18/02/2018 21:58

Welcome @Littlepig8834

I have an omelette for breakfast, soup for lunch. Snack on fruit and have a pot of quark about 2.30pm.

Going swimming tomorrow . Good luck to all who are weighing tomorrow Smile

Groovee · 19/02/2018 07:39

Testarossa1 · 19/02/2018 11:08

Well that's a surprise, just weighed in and lost 1lb. So 12.5lbs all together. Happy with that.

Flutterby81 · 19/02/2018 11:56

Well done on the loss Testarossa1.
Finally on track again and lost 2lbs this morning Smile
Good luck to everyone else weighing today.

boats16 · 19/02/2018 12:48

Well done [Testarossa] and [[Flutterby] ! I seem to be the only one letting the side down. Youll have to tell me yor secret lol

Mollie85 · 19/02/2018 13:28

2 pounds on doing SP?!?!

I’m really upset... Sad

TMI (sorry) but I haven’t had a BM since Friday so I wonder if that has anything to do with it... been eating veg, fruit and chicken all week... Confused

Testarossa1 · 19/02/2018 13:28

Thanks flutterby (well done with your loss) and boats. Really expected a maintain or gain today as with being poorly I've not eaten brilliantly at all this week. No secrets to it. I do find planning really helps, work out what I'm going to cook for the week and stick to it. I also don't buy the biscuits, chocolate etc, if it's not in the house I can't eat it!

ALemonyPea · 19/02/2018 13:55

Well done losers.

Ah Mollie, that sucks. I never had great losses on SP, did a full week once and only lost 2.5lbs. If you’ve not had a BM, then maybe you’ll have a great loss once you do go.

Tweetypie30 · 19/02/2018 16:00

Ah Mollie, that's so disappointing. Hopefully you'll see a big loss after you have a BM. Don't give up.

Mollie85 · 19/02/2018 16:06

Thanks Lemony Confused

Today I’ve been fantastically on normal plan - fruit for breakfast (apple, pear, satsuma and raspberries- I tend to graze on this over 2-3 hours) with one slice w/meal toast and Flora light, prawn salad for lunch (no sauce) and a cheese (HEA) and onion omelette with beans for tea (I eat v early due to working hours)

I’ve also just taken out a swim membership too... going for my first swim in an hour Grin

I shall not let this small blip allow me to give up (as in the past)

Well done to all the losers today Flowers

Mollie85 · 19/02/2018 16:06

Thanks Tweetypie Smile

boats16 · 19/02/2018 16:36

Never mind [Mollie] just keep plugging away. Ive been swimming this morning too ..Really enjoyed it.How about you ?

Mollie85 · 19/02/2018 18:42

I really enjoyed it too. Was embarrassingly slow and have no stamina yet - but that builds (I hope). I managed 8 lengths - in my youth I could do 30 without batting an eyelid - the benefits of living on a small island Grin

Had a really painful, hard tummy earlier but I’ve managed to go to the loo Blush (sorry) and feel much better.

Think I will continue with the swimming 3 or so times a week. How much do you have to lose boats?

I’d like to lose 4 more stone (already down 18lbs, actually 16 as I put 2 back on...)Envy - not envy

MyGuideJools · 19/02/2018 19:03

well done losers, Mollie don't feel too badFlowers
I had my 2nd weigh in today. last week I lost 5lb and this week I gained 3lb🙈
I was reading my old book (I lost 5 stone last year) and I was 2lb off my target.
now I'm back to square one! I'm so Ashamed of myselfSad
