New thread to see in 2018. Everyone welcome.

Having lost 4st in 2017... I'm looking at target by Valentine's Day if possible.

Look forward to welcoming everyone back and welcome to those embarking on their journey x

well, 1st week back (after falling dramatically off the wagon!)
I've lost 5lbGrin
This week will be tricky tho. got a few meals out planned but will do my best!

Testarossa1 · 12/02/2018 15:24

Another 2lb loss this week, 11.5lb so far. Really pleased. Today's menu is
B- weetabix, strawberries, plain yoghurt with a bit of honey
L - Salad with couscous and low fat feta cheese.
D - sausage and bean pie (recipe from SW magazine)

Not expecting a loss next week as visiting my parents and my dad does an awesome roast dinner.....

boo1507 · 12/02/2018 15:56

Maintained this week - but it hasn't been my best week. THIS week, however, is going to be awesome. How's everyone else?

Flutterby81 · 12/02/2018 17:39

Well done to everyone who lost Smile
Good day on track here

MumInTheCity · 12/02/2018 18:56

I lost 4.5lbs! So happy. Well done to all my fellow losers! Grin

boats16 · 12/02/2018 19:35

I have lost 9lbs so far by following SW. I dont go to a group but try to follow the plan. I am trying to lose as much as I feel I need so I dont feel self conscious in a bikini. Im going on hol in June. I would be happy with 1lb a week. Well done everyone for their losses. My weigh day is Friday.

MyGuideJools · 12/02/2018 19:42

oh wise ones, how bad are pancakes?
I absolutely love them!

Groovee · 12/02/2018 20:14

Well done everyone.

thanks groovee I can have a couple then!

MumInTheCity · 12/02/2018 21:25

MyGuideJools if you're making your own you can make them lower syn. I'm planning on making a batter using 25g flour (4syns), eggs and milk (HEA), I think I'll get at least 3 thin pancakes from that. Will add a teaspoon of sugar and lemon to each one, so in total it should be around 7 syns for 3 pancakes. I can't wait!

Vintage62 · 12/02/2018 22:19

I am hoping that eating breakfast will improve my weight loss. I have had muller light and fruit for 5 mornings now. Have made cod provencal and bolognese during the week, and my husband made a lovely roast yesterday, where I measured and syned 200g of roast potatoes. WI is tomorrow, and I am a bit nervous. Last week my consultant gave me the SAS logs to fill in. However, I find that writing everything down and overanalysing it is counter productive. There is still a bit of me that believes that restricting all food is the way to lose weight, and once I have a list of what I have eaten I want to "cross items off" and not eat them the next day. My treat for Friday night was going to be a Magnum ice cream with the family, and although they ate their's, mine is still in the freezer because the anticipation of having a treat is currently more important than eating it. Does anyone else feel like this?

boats16 · 12/02/2018 23:00

I do. Once Ive eaten my treat i feel a bit disappointed . I also dont like to over analyse things. I dont belong to a club but try to follow SW as close as I can. Good luck with your WI tomorrow Vintage62 , I hope it goes well. How much have you lost so far?

MyGuideJools · 12/02/2018 23:17

mum I could have 6 then!Grin

1haudyerwheesht · 13/02/2018 00:04

2nd weigh in today and I lost 1.5lbs. I am happy but also a bit disheartened at all the huge losses I see at group. Someone today lost 13.5 pounds in their first week! I keep telling myself that I'm on the right road. I weigh less this week than last and hopefully more than next week 🤞🏻

boats16 · 13/02/2018 08:13

Dont be disheartened 1haudyerwheesht. I have had slow weight losses each week. I just keep telling myself 9lb altogether,9lb altogether.( My total weight loss )and then I feel better. Wink

boats16 · 13/02/2018 08:14

well done

Groovee · 13/02/2018 09:30

I never have big losses the way that others do. But I'm still nearly 5 stone lighter than I was 19 months ago.

Weigh in tonight. As always I never know which way it will go.

But I do keep looking at these photos and realise how far I have come x

MumInTheCity · 13/02/2018 10:38

Wow Groovee you look amazing, what a difference! Thank you for sharing, that's great inspiration to keep going.

Groovee · 13/02/2018 20:35

I gained half a pound! So not happy!

OP posts:
MumInTheCity · 13/02/2018 20:51

Sorry to hear that Groovee - only a tiny gain though, I'm sure it'll come off next week.

I've just been a greedy pig and stuffed myself with 6 real pancakes with lemon and sugar! So full now but they were lovely, 14 syns altogether and well worth it!

never mind groovee.Whats 1/2 pound compared to all that youve lost.Smile. My weigh day isnt till friday. Always feel aprehensive

Tweetypie30 · 13/02/2018 22:03

Yeah, 1lb off tonight. Slow and steady wins the race.

Well done everyone else who has lost this week.

boats16 · 13/02/2018 22:51

well done,tweetypieSmile

Vintage62 · 13/02/2018 23:03

Well, eating more food is the key for me. Week 1 I lost 0.5 lb, week 2 I lost 1 lb, and at week 3 WI today I had lost an amazing ( for me) 3 lb! It is going to be a bit tricky for the next 3 days as I am away (half term where I live), but I will try and focus.
