New thread to see in 2018. Everyone welcome.

Having lost 4st in 2017... I'm looking at target by Valentine's Day if possible.

Sorry for being absent for a while. I have had a very frustrating few weeks. I had a very undeserved 1.5lb gain one week, and I took the decision to do my first SP whole week. For a week I took a picture of every single morsel that passed my lips. I sent these to my lovely consultant. I wrote everything down. I spoke to my consultant every day via whatsapp. I was on it!!! At weigh in I had lost the 1.5lb that I had not deserved to gain the week before. consultant was on holiday by then, I was gutted. I had hoped for a few more lb after doing my 1st SP week. So at weigh in last night, after a normal week I had lost 0.5lb. My consultant had a good chat to me and she is going to send me the kick start diet programme. I know we are not allowed to discuss it and it seems to all be a big secret, but have any of you long termers done this before. She didnt have the pack with her, so she is sending it to me. I may do it next week, but I already have a load of questions.
Many months ago there was a consultant on here.....are you still around? Can I ask you some questions?
I got my 5stone in July 2017 and although week after week I have stuck with the food optimising I have only lost a further 4lb since then. I still want to lose another 2 stone, so I am not that close to target really.

@PositiveAttitude is it fast forward? If so I know a couple of people who have done it and got results. Hoping you get back on the weight loss journey soon as it's so disheartening when it barely moves x

@Groovee - I went shopping after lunch so with dinner there were onions, peppers, mushrooms and spinach. Just having my porridge now with banana (not speed I see) and blueberries.

Haven't been around for ages - hope I can rejoin you all! Gained a little over Christmas. Lost the gain (yay!) then went away for five days with a friend and gained again. Had to miss this week because my elderly Mum hasn't been well - but hoping for a good result next week... Need to get back into the zone!

Only started sw yesterday - I've been so good today but decided to have a skinny chai latte while I was out. Big mistake!
I've just checked the syns online (which I've only just registered to)!and it says a medium Costa skinny chai latte is 16 syns!! How is this possible? It's just skimmed milk and chai spices isn't it? I thought it'd only be 3-4 Syns max. I'm really annoyed!

Frittata/crustless quiche always goes down well at our taster nights, fairly quick and easy to do as well.

My meals today: (hope no one minds me posting them, I find it useful to keep track on here!)

B - melon and pineapple
L - WW wrap filled with chicken salad and mayo (1 syn)
D - hunters chicken with chips and roasted med veg (2 syns for BBQ sauce)
S - bag of walkers sensations poppadoms (3 syns)

Baked oats for taster or someone made a fab tuna pasta last night.

@Scaredofthegym They don't always measure the milk accurately. But I think you could take 6 syns off for your HE A choice.

oh shit I forgot about the taster tomorrow... do u think it would be completely terrible of me to take 1 of the slimming world meals I have in the freezer? group is at 9.30 so won't have time to make anything 😣😣

Havent been for a couple of weeks and managed to put on 2lb! I only put on 1 1/2 lb over Christmas and lost it all the first week back! I did have a few cheat days, but all in the first week then last week I was much more careful. I'm a bit cheesed off. I need to get back on track but my determination seems to last about 2 days! I keep meaning to do a speed week, which I don't even find hard, as I like having the 2 HexB's but don't seem to be able to remember to do it! I'm really annoyed with myself!

I took a hm cauliflower cheese sauce turkey mince lasagne . Syn free and demolished by the group.

I blind weigh so not sure of loss but clearly on plan and feeling motivated.

@Oldowl I don't have a huge appetite and don't eat huge portions hence it's more frustrating when I don't see the weight loss. I have reduced my workout to only 3 days per week from 4-5 days.

@Testarossa1 I do mine in 2 small ramekins and they are about the size of those single sponge cakes you do in the microwave. They can be a bit flat at muffins but if you doubled the recipe you could get 6 and have 3 a day as HE's

Done my monthly planning! Hoping to get that 5lb off for Target this month.

Have been upping my protein as my fibro is struggling and my speed. So we'll see how we go. Not exercising due to being ill. My body comes first and it needs rest x

lost another 2.5 this week was a bit shocked but then suddenly realised I had jeans and a belt on whereas I've worn leggings to all my other weigh ins so must remember to wear leggings in future lol.
ended up making a quick tuna rice bake with the sw creamy tomato sauce for the taster... every1 loved it so am quite pleased as I am no Nigella.

I've found a recipe on pinch of nom for carrot and oat cake, going to do that as muffins for taster. Half a syn each.

Just tried a new recipe for dinner, sweet chilli beef found on pintrest but believe it’s from slimming eats was 3syns but really nice.

Hello, can I please join you?

Lost 3 stone previously on SW then went off the rails and have gained 1 back.

Really struggling to get motivated but truly not happy with my size currently. I'll be doing it from home as can't afford meetings at the mo. I know the plan well by now though.

I'm hoping if I stick to regularly checking in with others then I may finally stick to plan again.

Hello Gandalfthegoat. Well done on loosing 3 stone and keeping two of it off. That's a massive achievement. I'm sure you can loose that extra stone again. Posting on here and keeping up with the comments really helps with my motivation. Good luck.
