Well done to everyone who lost and I know how tough a gain can be but hopefully you will see a loss next week Smile I went off plan last night but back on track and trying to make up for it today!
Campfire stew is one of my fav dinners.

caremummy · 17/01/2018 13:54

D: lm burger (1), lm sausage and asparagus

caremummy · 17/01/2018 17:43

snacks: midget gems (reduced sugar) (11), bread roll (B) and a few small cucumbers

Marcine · 17/01/2018 17:52

Had a really nice pudding at my mum's earlier - Eton mess with a meringue nest, fat free Greek yogurt and berries. Felt like a really indulgent dessert but only 2-3 syns I think.

Gudgyx · 17/01/2018 21:06

Disheartened tonight. Stuck strictly to plan all week and I too only lost half a pound.

Ah well onto next week

caremummy · 17/01/2018 21:29

It would appear I've got a stomach bug
Couldn't eat my tea due to stomach ache, but picked and probably over on syns.
Luckily everything I have is lowsyn (learnt from last week) so not too far over.
Hopefully a good few days will pull it back.

fromtheshires · 17/01/2018 21:55

-5.5 and slimmer of the week this week. One and a half pounds to my first stone leaving me with just 5 to get rid of...

Don't worry about a maintaining or a small loss guys. A dripping bucket will still empty eventually! It just takes a bit longer than buckets with a bigger hole in them.

caremummy · 17/01/2018 22:34

big well done and so well put !x

overnight oats in fridge (0.5) with apple and raspberry

planning brown rice, black beans, sweet potato chips and asparagus for dinner or tea tomorrow and cucumber, carrot sticks, spinach, butterbean houmous and LM pulled pork burger for the other.

theotherendofthesockportal · 17/01/2018 23:18

Today I made lamb and spinach curry, which was lovely. The book I got the recipe from says to serve with cucumber salad but then doesn't elaborate on what is in cucumber salad. Does anyone know?

caremummy · 18/01/2018 06:52

Not sure tbh.

Started with an iced black coffee, I am so tired. Added a bit of mocha skinny syrup so it's quite alright.

Will be having by overnight oats over the next hour. What I like is I can eat them when I'm getting ready or when I'm in lectures.

Flutterby81 · 18/01/2018 08:56

Morning everyone totally offbplan last night so attempting the next four days Syn Free to make up for it! Wish me luck Grin
Making melt in middle burgers for dinner today another favourite in my house and prob ham salad for lunch.

Tweetypie30 · 18/01/2018 10:17

Great advice fromtheshires and well done on your weight loss. It must feel amazing.

Gemarch33 · 18/01/2018 11:04

Does anybody know the syns in Aldi skinny sausages please ?

SWCcobi · 18/01/2018 15:28

If anyone is stuck for a good sub free meal I love he Diet Coke chicken!

caremummy · 18/01/2018 20:26

Off for drinks tonight. Poor student so won't be more than 4.

Will resume in the morning. 4 good days of meals and not over doing syns should pull me back to at least a maintain.

caremummy · 18/01/2018 20:27

Allowing myself to go out because it will be the last time for a good few weeks

raisedbyguineapigs · 18/01/2018 20:27

That diuet coke chicken ius an absolute hit in our house. The kids love it!

fromtheshires · 18/01/2018 22:19

Has anyone else noticed that they are more confident after losing just a few pounds? I am seeing results in my clothes such as my tshirt isn't stretched by my belly and I'm feeling great. I probably don't look much different but I feel it.

One of the women in group said that could notice my 12.5lb loss at last weigh in which spurred me on a little bit, however I can't wait to lose even more and people start noticing at work as that's when it will be worth it all. Little things eh

calzone · 18/01/2018 22:41

1/2 lb off. Time of the month but I was a bit put out......

Groovee · 18/01/2018 23:00

I've upped my syns as last time I did that I got a better loss.

Lots of speed foods too.

calzone · 18/01/2018 23:04

The other thing I’m doing Groovee is plating and deciding on my speed food before my main meal.....
Apple, porridge, yoghurt
Beetroot, spinach, chicken
Broccoli, spaghetti bolognaise

Redpony1 · 19/01/2018 09:11

I feel like i am finally in the right mindset this week to start to lose the rest of my weight! I feel good about turning down treats offered at work and have not had urges to go to the shop and buy crap.

For me, i only lose if my head is in the game and i hope this week is a turning point!

mommytoboo86 · 19/01/2018 14:13

haven't been on for ages as my data ran out but I managed to go to my first group on the 11th and was pleasantly surprised that I didn't weigh as much as I thought and had lost 2 stone on my own.
went to the second session yesterday and lost 3lb, a bit disappointed but I wasn't fully able to manage my syns as didn't have the cash to swap sugar for sweetener, fry light for oil and couldn't get my skinless chicken thighs either. (does any1 else find it annoying when family/friends say well a loss is still a loss??)
However, I am massively proud of myself as hubby bought some cheesy Doritos (share bag) and they have been a trigger food for me in the past but I stopped after just a handful on Wednesday and just 1 solitary chip yesterday.
Also picked up some rocky road HiFi bars at group so am all set for the coming week
x

caremummy · 19/01/2018 19:48

today was better but not perfect. So, I have planned what I'm going to do for the next three days

Breakfasts
overnight oats
beans on toast w/ spinach
veg cooked bfast

Lunch
tomato, carrot, cucumber, kidney/other beans and syn free hummus
beans on toast w/spinach
packed lunch w/rice and salad

Tweetypie30 · 20/01/2018 11:08

I'm going to make speedy soup today. They were talking about it at group last week and it sounds yummy. I'm going to have it with melba toast, I always need something to dip into soup.
