4lb loss for me in my first weigh in (last saturday) hoping for 3lb this week to get my first sticker :)

KinkyDoritowithsparkleson · 15/01/2018 08:45

pip that’s good to hear! I didn’t have much success last time, but I’ve had a dose increase since then.

positive 😃 I'm not attending meetings, so should be able to keep my internet shennanigans under wraps for a bit!

Flutterby81 · 15/01/2018 09:16

Well done rhinogirl.
Just done Day 1 of a davina workout dvd that iv had for ages but never done, wasn’t quite as bad as I expected Smile

Testarossa1 · 15/01/2018 11:02

First weigh in, 3.5lbs lost. Happy with that! Hopefully will be able to keep it up!

Redpony1 · 15/01/2018 11:17

I am a member, but havent been to group since November due to a big house move on 1st Dec, with no kitchen for 3 weeks, followed by the awful long cold everyone has had!
Returning to group tonight....

Wish me luck! (lost 4st in 2013, just 2st left to go)

After getting the days wrong I finally managed to join up last Tuesday. I've been 100% on plan all week and really enjoying my food. Dare I say that I'm looking forward to weigh in tomorrow and seeing how I've done!

I've read through the whole thread this morning. So many good tips and lots of inspiration. Thanks for sharing everyone.

latedecember1963 · 15/01/2018 12:30

Morning everyone and well done with all the losses!
I didn't let on for a while that I'd joined SW. DH was working away at the time so it was easy to stay under the radar.
I've lost 1 1/2 lbs again and I want to try to do the same for next week. I've started sorting out cupboards and drawers since I can't go back to work yet. I've put the recycling boxes in a different room to build in extra steps.
Hope everyone has a good week!

Groovee · 15/01/2018 13:13

Good luck everyone weighing this week. Well done to those who have lost already this week. Hoping for a better loss this week.

Successful weekend on plan for me! Probably didn't eat enough actually.

Saturday had lf sausage on wm roll for heb. Spag bol for dinner with lower than 5% fat mince. I also discovered Oppo ice cream!!! If you havent tried this its a must! 4 syns for 2 scoops, a scoop would roughly weigh 68g. I had the salted caramel one, which was very sweet so one scoop would have been enough. I had it with meringue nests sprinkled over the top (3) a fibre one chocolate brownie, strawberries and choc shot. Felt very bad but still within my syn allowance!!

Sunday had boiled eggs and toast kingsmill crustless for heb. I can't eat boiled egg without butter though so syn'd that. Missed lunch again, just snacked on fruit while I was pottering about the kitchen. Made the slimming world steak pie from the website for dinner. Packet of French fries and a hifi for snack.

I'm loving all this cooking from scratch, I'd forgotten how much I loved it.

Sneakily stole a chicken ball from OHs Chinese last night :( I'm doing an SP day today and tomorrow to make up for it!

caremummy · 15/01/2018 14:05

Had a big lunch with kidney bean burgers, sw chips, houmous and veg

HeA= almond dark choc milk

0.5 syns on a jelly

zero meals til weigh in

I might get boiled rice with curry sauce from the Chinese for tea. I allow 8 syns for the rest

caremummy · 15/01/2018 14:06

this*

Testarossa1 · 15/01/2018 15:36

Just made slimming world lasagne for tea, sauce made from yoghurt and eggs, will see how it tastes later!

Gudgyx · 15/01/2018 16:16

I'm making bacon cheesrburgers for dinner, cant wait!

theotherendofthesockportal · 15/01/2018 16:49

I made the chunky spaghetti bolonese last night with a minor adjust. I substituted the celery for leek. I'm pleased to say it was a huge success.

I'm still struggling with lunch ideas and snacks.

My breakfast every day is 2 weetabix with skimmed milk.

Tweetypie30 · 15/01/2018 17:22

Caremummy, how do you make your kidney bean burgers? They sound delicious.

Oly5 · 15/01/2018 17:24

I’m addicted to. Slimming World lasagne. It’s so easy to make. I add extra veg like carrots and courgettes

Tweetypie30 · 15/01/2018 17:26

I've got a vegetable stew cooking in the oven. Leeks, onions, butternut squash, carrots, parsnips, sweet potato, veggie stock, tomato puree, bay leaves, thyme. Bung it in the oven and leave it for three hours. Job done. My husband is having the same but with beef in it. I'll serve it with mashed potato and broccoli. I can't wait.

Oly5 · 15/01/2018 17:26

Theotherend, could you have something like fruit and yoghurt or eggs for breakfast, then you could safe your bread choice for a sandwich

Oly5 · 15/01/2018 17:26

Save not safe!

Testarossa1 · 15/01/2018 19:14

The lasagne was lovely, I threw some carrots I too. Sauce made with yoghurt and eggs with reduced fat cheese on top. It really worked well. 2 portions for the freezer too. Making myself some tomato and basil soup tomorrow for the freezer. Spanish omelette with salad for lunch and chicken wrapped in bacon with slimming world chips and veg for tea tomorrow.

caremummy · 15/01/2018 19:22

10st13.5 = 3lb loss

Whilst I am so happy with this, and 100% on it, this has been overshadowed by literally scraping a pass in a module I worked hard on, with pretty crappy feedback. This would normally lead to a couple of packets of consolatory oreos and crisps and probably gin. Not tonight, I have to achieve something haha. So had boiled rice, curry sauce and a diet coke from the Chinese. I'd only had 0.5 syns prior to this, so won't be over syns and was delicious.
Anyway Sad

The kidney bean burgers were just a packet of kidney beans, microwaved and mashed, mixed with a boiled and mashed carrot (or 2) and garlic, mild chilli powder, salt and pepper in the blender. Then put on a tray and shaped into burger like shapes and cooked for about 20 minutes.

caremummy · 15/01/2018 19:38

I've reached the target I set myself for Christmas at least Grin
Forget to put - cook at 200 degrees Celsius.
I'm now 1st13.5 from target and 11.5lb from club 10.
At my target of 1lb loss a week, I should be at target by the end of July.
This is the lightest I've been in a long while.
Have a feeling this coming week might be my last week of a potential high loss - of the organ-coating (visceral?) fat. But still, got to stick at it.

Groovee · 15/01/2018 20:03

I'm back to work tomorrow. Soup made, fruit salad made too.

Well done @caremummy
