Missed breakfast again today grr I need to think of something quick and filling to have at work so I'm not faffing about with a microwave to make eggs.

Lunch had the sw ham and mushroom thing, used 2 slice of kingsmill crustless to make garlic bread (stupidly thought that meal would be similar to carbonara). Spray the bed with frylite, sprinkle some garlic granules and dried parsley on top, put in the toaster) HEB done

Hula Hoop pufts 3.5 and hifi bar 3

Tub of melon for a snack just there.

Bought a big lean meat slimmers pack from the butchers earlier, so having sweet chilli chicken stir fry for dinner. OP and DD don't like the veg in a stir fry so they have can have egg noodles and I'll have the veg,

Gudgy I normally make egg muffins for breakfast in the evening and they last for a couple of days in the fridge.

Use the silicone cupcake cases and add diced tomatoes/ ham / basil etc and beat some eggs - season then fill the cases, and bake in the oven at 160 ish for 10-14 mins until cooked. They are great and I even take them to picnics instead of quiche

00alwaysbusymum · 12/01/2018 20:01

Welcome to @Weegiemum. Remember me for another thread a few years ago? Smile Well done on the alcohol and for joining in here. Slimming world does work - have you tried it before or is it new to you?

Had a bit of a bumpy week so plan for today:

B - Scrambled egg

L - Chicken salad, fruit

D - lean lamb steak, boiled potatoes and green beans and I plan on making a strawberry roulade - absolutely yum for anyone who hasn't tried it.

After a really good month in December my body seems to not be playing ball again for January!! How can it make sense that I stick to plan and one month can either stay the same, or go up a lb and then another month I lose 7lb??? Hmm

caremummy · 13/01/2018 12:37

Such a good start today!
Pre-gym snack: raspberry 10 cal jelly (0.5)
Post-gym brunch: alpro plain with coconut (0.5), mango, blueberry, kiwi, raspberry and Sharon fruit, had a lovely big bowl of it.
Had such a good session at the gym and walked there and back.
Off in to town later, won't have anything to eat but will probably end up in costa.
I'll either have a small soya latte with sugar free syrup for my A or tea with soya milk, for part of my A.
Decided to start trying lots of different free foods, and going for speed and free first.

Boatsnack3 · 13/01/2018 12:37

Hi all I was on this thread last summer but I broke my phone and forgot my log in details but I finally got an upgrade so new phone, new year, new mumsnet account.

I hit target at the beginning of November and stayed within range until Christmas. I've been totally off plan since 23rd Dec and I think I've gained about 8lbs although I'm not facing the official scales till Tuesday.

The line has been well and truly drawn hopefully be back at target within a couple of weeks. Good luck everyone old and new.

caremummy · 13/01/2018 12:43

didn't realise I'd posted a plan hahaha
ah well, as long as it's slimming world
WI Monday, hope I've done enough/ will do enough to pull it back to a 1lb loss

KinkyDoritowithsparkleson · 13/01/2018 13:25

Hi all

Started again today using the online service. I can't attend any local meetings due to working on evenings.

I feel pretty daunted as I've been out of control with my eating recently. I use food as a crutch and we've been going through a really challenging time. However, getting fatter and fatter isn't helping at all. I have 3st 10lbs to lose to reach my first target and see how I feel at that point.

Today:

Porridge with banana (no speed, tut tut)
Salad with tuna and egg
Quorn chilli with SW chips

I'm trying not to snack as much too as it's not helpful. It's killing me!!! Grin

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 13/01/2018 13:43

Just had the veggie burgers from the Iceland range for lunch - nice but really dry: needed a good whack of chutney with them!

caremummy · 13/01/2018 17:31

Tea: Heinz lentil curry (syn free?), brown rice and lots of rocket - a really good, easy meal.
Apart from that, 2 more 0.5 syn jellies.
Bringing me up to 2 syns so far Grin
I'm all out of jelly and yoghurt, got no biscuits or anything in. So looks like snacks tonight will be fruit and veg.
I really love Sharon fruit/persimmon, found that out today.

Flutterby81 · 13/01/2018 17:57

How’s everyone’s weekend going? I fell off the wagon Thursday but where as usually that would then be a oh il be bad now until wi I stopped and remembered why I’m doing this and got myself back on the wagon yesterday!
Just made sea bass with bacon and tomatoes was really delicious will definetly make it again.

Groovee · 13/01/2018 18:18

Had a binge on crisps last night.

Going to the cinema soon, so got some houmous made. Not convinced I am any good at making houmous though, it's always so bland. Carrots, blueberries and will take some Ryvita rice cakes as a HEB choice.

Meals wise I am fine. Tried a dress on I bought on Hogmanay. It fitted then but looked so much better today.

OP posts:
caremummy · 13/01/2018 18:59

I can't get homemade houmous right either.

Just going to stick to synning reduced fat shop bought.

Not having anything with a syn value in the cupboards is surprisingly working.

I've not had my A or B though, thinking choc Weetabix w/ soya and fruit for supper later on, only if I need it.

caremummy · 13/01/2018 20:33

Finishing the day with choc Weetabix, soya milk and raspberries (frozen).
2 syns, not needed more today, would've had if I'd wanted.
Think that will help pulling back to a loss.
I think I'll just stick to overnight oats once a week, having them every Tuesday because of the convenience with my lectures.

hejg283 · 13/01/2018 20:45

I put on about 10lbs between Christmas and New year and Monday will be my first full week and managed to have a full week 100% on plan so hoping for a good weight loss. Was also majorly happy to find out that 100ml of walls vanilla soft scoop is only 4 syns!!!
