New thread to see in 2018. Everyone welcome.

Having lost 4st in 2017... I'm looking at target by Valentine's Day if possible.

Look forward to welcoming everyone back and welcome to those embarking on their journey x

Well done on the losses.

@nexttonormal remember your fluids too. Don't be disheartened. It can sometimes be a couple of weeks before our bodies play ball x

Well done on all the losses. I weighed yesterday and lost 5.5lb which I was really pleased about.
That first sticker will be mine next weekGrin

susurration · 11/01/2018 12:21

Weigh in for me this morning, -4lbs this week. I was hoping for 5lbs but I completely sabotaged myself on Tuesday so its all my own fault. But still, 4lbs in my first 8 days, not too bad. Excited to cross off my lbs on the chart I made!

@nexttonormal sorry you feel down. It's still 1lb off, so well done you.

Trying to keep on plan today:

B- banana and cup of tea
L- Ham, lettuce and laughing cow spread (Hex A) sandwich (Hex B), fruit and maybe a yogurt
D- Vegetarian stir fry with egg fried rice (plenty of speed) and fruit for after.

weegiemum · 11/01/2018 12:22

I went to my first SW meeting last night. I have 10st+ to lose. Feeling relatively calm about it - I cant go on like this, I've been eating (and drinking) my way into an early grave. Having pretty much kicked the alcohol in 2017, I want to get control of my food in 2018. I want to be my target weight by the time I'm 50, so just under 3 years.

Dh is doing it along with me (he has less to lose than I do) so that should be an encouragement to us both. I'm disabled so exercise is a problem, but I think it should become easier as the weight comes off.

Today I've had coffee (don't take milk or sugar, luckily!), apples and pears in low fat yoghurt and am thinking about an omelette for lunch. Don't much feel like using any syns today, I'm too Shock at what I have to lose!

larry55 · 11/01/2018 12:55

I have lost 1/2 lb today which I know isn't much but I am a slow loser and have only 3 1/2 lb to target. Hope more goes next week but as long as I get a loss I am happy.

emwithme · 11/01/2018 13:12

2.5 lbs off this week, am happy with that. Am more happy that I managed to stay to plan 100% for the whole week, including when there was birthday cake in the office (I had one small piece, cut for me by a naturally slim person Grin and that was enough, actually)

A few of us from our group are off for lunch today, we're going to Nandos, so it's butterfly chicken, rice and salad for me - when I've added the dipping sauce in, that will be 6 syns.

I've switched up my HEs a bit this week too, rather than having hifi bars I've been having porridge, weetabix or shredded wheat for breakfast. I've found it's kept me fuller in the mornings than eggy muffins (which are delicious but obviously not filling enough). Syns have been 5.5 for a waitrose latte and then a few for sauces with dinner etc.

Gudgyx · 11/01/2018 14:03

caremummy · 11/01/2018 15:26

All of you get such good losses ! x (well done Flowers)

calzone · 11/01/2018 16:40

I had 3 scrambled eggs and smoked salmon with toast for breakfast.

Fruit and carrots for lunch.

This means I could do an SP day today if I plan properly for dinner.

Any ideas?

caremummy · 11/01/2018 17:51

just had a relapse binge.
off to brownies, and straight back on it.
hopefully can pull it back.

Raisedbyguineapigs · 11/01/2018 17:59

Calzone I like a chilli for dinner on an SP day which I have with no rice and a weight watchers wrap or cauli rice.

Raisedbyguineapigs · 11/01/2018 18:01

I've lost 3 1/2 lb which Im very pleased with! Ive lost all the christmas weight and another 2lb! Ive got a nasty cold today so hopefully I can medicate with tea and soup and not too much cake!

caremummy · 11/01/2018 18:18

One possible lining to my over eat is I've eaten all the higher syn stuff in my cupboard so should be able to keep on plan in reg to syns. Well done on the losses

Groovee · 11/01/2018 18:21

Well done on the losses.

@weegiemum I have fibromyalgia but have found Burlesque helps me lots as we can do adapted routines. It does get easier.

Another good day for me. Saving my healthy extras for my supper. Going to have weetabix minis and milk. Looking forward to it. Have had rather a lot of spinach today though 😂

Thank you groove ☺️😕
It's clearly a problem I need to address, worst thing I can do is fall off plan for the millionth time or say I'll start again tomorrow. So I've logged the syns, decided to get out tomorrow for a run 🏃 and aiming to eat 3 good meals . This is different to usual and hoping helps 🙏

Gudgyx · 11/01/2018 20:38

Another day done!

I missed breakfast this morning, too busy at work.

Lunch was sw meatballs and pasta meal from Iceland. Hula hoop pufts at 3.5 syns, and a hifi bar as part heb. An apple and muller light for snack later.

Dinner was chicken in herbs with salad. Made some sw friendly spiced onions, and had 2 popadoms at 2 syns each.

No hea for today and I’m done!

caremummy · 11/01/2018 20:41

Nothing like volunteering with girl guiding to cheer me up 🙂
Just be having some iced water tonight, I have a sugar headache from all the biscuits 😷
Note to not buy them again and stick with jelly, yoghurt and fruit 🍉
Back on it

Groovee · 11/01/2018 21:41

Lol, Brownies is lethal for eating

Princesspeach89 · 11/01/2018 21:46

Weighed tonight, lost 1 hoping for a little more, just need to make sure I'm having my a + bs never seem to fit them in!

holycityzoo · 12/01/2018 09:20

Caremummy I think the three meals thing really helps me stay on track. I would happily graze all day but now I make the effort to sit down at the table for each of my meals and eat a proper amount. I do still have a few snacks if I need them but I definitely find it easier.

Pipsqueak11 · 12/01/2018 12:41

I was a bit disappointed to have only lost 0.5 as I thought I had been quite good at sticking to plan . My losses are very inconsistent and don't seem to relate to previous weeks efforts .
I have just moved to a new group and There was a chap there who had lost 16 stones!!!!! Amazing !!

calzone · 12/01/2018 14:35

B.....5 heck sausages (1 1/2), spinach and fried egg

L....jacket potato, beans and salad
