Trills · 13/10/2017 19:34

OK, I am making dinner with vegetables in, I am having my one gin and tonic while it bubbles.

calzone · 13/10/2017 19:58

All week I have used my syns for Gin.

It's worked really well.

And toffee cream meringue from Tesco for 5.5 syns.

Trills · 13/10/2017 20:18

I am trying to use some of my syns for fat as well as for alcohol and sugar, I have some vague idea that it's a good plan, but really I miss alcohol more...

Anyway I have a little bit of olive oil in my dinner.

ALemonyPea · 13/10/2017 22:07

Welcome half shell, good luck.

I try to use my syns with meals. Today I had honey in my porridge and a packet of pufts with my lunch.

Tweetypie30 · 13/10/2017 22:11

Non scale victory - Been for a swim tonight. The first time in over a year. It was hard to get up and down the pool and even harder to get out of the door but I'm so glad I did it. Halo

Groovee · 13/10/2017 23:40

2 nights out over. Will be on plan until Tuesday when it’s my 19th Wedding Anniversary

Trills · 14/10/2017 09:12

Well done Tweety - I find getting out the door the hardest part.

PositiveAttitude · 14/10/2017 09:12

Hi everyone.

Back from a fantastic week in the Algarve. I was not going to be on plan while I was away. After a whole tonne of stress over the past few years I just needed to get away and relax about everything in life. It was amazing and i now feel the most relaxed I have been for years. Smile However, SW-wise it was a total disaster!!! Blush I went a bit food crazy the first 3 days, but I then realised that I was not really enjoying the food that I was having. My tastebuds had changed so much. So day 4 I decided that I would try and be a bit better, but still enjoy ice-cream and desserts if I wanted to. So I then was ordering salad because i wanted a salad - but it came loaded with oils and not very enjoyable. I arrived home at 9am on Thursday morning and straight away did a weigh in so that I knew the damage!! I felt as if I had put on about 3 stone!!! The only reason I knew it wasnt the full 5 stone was because my knickers were still falling down!!

Damage was 10lb!! Blush But as of this morning I have lost 5lb of that - I suspect it was mostly fluid retention. So I can live with that and I believe the holiday was certainly worth a 5lb gain! Grin I have until Tuesday official WI to get more of that off, too. A couple of SP days and I will see how it goes.

Off to catch up with the thread now - you lot have been chatting a lot over the past 10 days!! Grin
Have a good weekend everyone.

Welcome, Half Shell.

Glad you had a good holiday, PA. Sounds like it's done you the world of good.

Enjoy your Snowden climb tomorrow, Lubilu. The view from the summit is amazing so hope you have a clear day.

DS1 passed his driving test. He's 24 so hopefully has bypassed the boy racer stage.

Had cauliflower soup when I had lunch out with my MIL yesterday and it was delicious so I'm going to try to replicate it this morning.

Have a good weekend everyone!

ALemonyPea · 14/10/2017 17:33

Great NSV tweety

Sounds like you had aneeded break PA, don’t let the lbs ruin it, you’ll get them off in no time by Tuesday.

Had an impromptu meal out today, went to an italians. Had a chicken salad, sauce in the side. Counting 8 syns for it, and using cheese as HEA.

calzone · 14/10/2017 21:06

B....cheerios fruit and yoghurt
L....scrambled eggs beans turkey rashers
D.....vegetable soup, asparagus and cheese pasta (4)

ALemonyPea · 15/10/2017 19:30

Hope everyone has had a good weekend.

Made a lovely slow cooked beef stew for tea tonight, delicious. And my fave veg, sprouts are in season, so had loads of those on my plate.

OwlinaTree · 15/10/2017 19:50

ALemonyPea · 15/10/2017 20:05

You look amazing, well done.

Deedee0208 · 15/10/2017 20:43

Hi everyone, been doing sw for 5 weeks and 18lb lost so far, still got a long way to go, 6 more stone !!! Feels so daunting x

Groovee · 15/10/2017 20:50

I’ve gone off the rails. Got back on track today and been to Burlesque.

OwlinaTree · 15/10/2017 21:19

Thanks lemony, need to work on my big red face nowGrinGrin

ALemonyPea · 15/10/2017 21:45

Haha Owl.

Welcome Dee, well done on your loss, amazing! I’ve lost 7 stone, and found it less daunting by doing it in blocks of 7lb each time. Aim towards each 7lb award, it doesn’t seem that big when you do it that way.

lauryloo · 15/10/2017 22:20

Was all set for a gain this week as we were at a wedding yesterday. Didn't count on not eating or drinking at it though due to a stomach bug 😩
