Jealous of your afternoon tea tigger! Enjoy it and then draw a line under it!
5lb off, total of 11, so hoping for 3 to get my stone next week. Slimmer of the week too 😄

Flowers for Groovee, take it easy!

I've got a lentil and vegetable curry in the slow cooker using a jdseasonings tikka masala mix, smells most unlike any curry I have ever smelt o.0 have added some extra curry powder to it. Fingers crossed!

Groovee, don't worry about dieting the next few days. Take it easy and relax. 💐

Tigger, afternoon tea is probably one of those meals you can't control the syns over, so just enjoy and have low syns the rest of the week, 5 syns max.

Have sent DH to subway for a salad. I so want a salad

@Groovee - get well soon!

Why am I not losing? So frustrating. It's going to be so embarrassing on Monday.

FoofFighter · 15/07/2017 15:24

stop weighing yourself!

Report
TurquoiseOwl · 15/07/2017 15:30

But I'm not losinggg

LavenderRains · 15/07/2017 15:36

turquoise do we need to put you on the naughty step!!?
STOP WEIGHING YOURSELF
I bet you will lose some and even if you don't it's not embarrassing at all. Youve made such a good start. Stay with it!Flowers

Grin I won't be staying for group though! It would be very cringe. I literally think it's going to be something like 1/2 a pound. I'm literally so sad! I've been on plan Sad I definitely will stick with it as last week was a good start, but it's a bit embarrassing for the 2nd week.

It will probably catch up next week - loads of people have a good wi a week after a good week, and a loss is a loss 💪🏻
I officially joined - online wasn't for me and the consultant was lovely.
Got a mushroom, butter bean and onion curry with mayflower sauce in the slow cooker for tea 😀

Officially rejoined I should say

Who exactly are you thinking you're going to embarrass anyway? the group helpers have seen it all before so don't worry. nobody ever shames anyone if there is a gain.

I'm struggling tonight with not just ordering a takeout after a busy day with DC the last thing I can be bothered to do is cook

Report
Groovester · 15/07/2017 18:28

turquoise Amazon prime day made me buy digital scales. Between last night and approximately 5 minutes ago I have fluctuated a whole 7lbs. And I'm on plan. Don't sweat it, you'll be fine!

Report
ALemonyPea · 15/07/2017 18:37

Turquoise, I'm the worst person for weighing myself. I try not to do it daily, doesn't always work, but my weight changes throughout the week, and I can weigh 4lb more on a night time.

Don't worry about what the scales say in Monday, stay with it, the results will show.

Report
LavenderRains · 15/07/2017 18:39

Our consultant runs 5 sessions on one day. She says she can weigh on the first and last session and have a difference of 5lb
I'm willing to bet money or cake that turquoise has a loss! X

TurquoiseOwl · 15/07/2017 19:01

Thanks all Flowers I know weight does change, but if I compare it to last week, I know I haven't lost/lost anything significant. Every morning the scales just aren't going down! I really hope it is a loss, but I'll see! I'm terrible, I weigh about 15 times a day.

Report
LavenderRains · 15/07/2017 21:03

Seriously?! 15 times a day!! You need to give the scales away, they are doing you no favours. Be kind to yourself and take them to the charity shopFlowers

Report
FoofFighter · 15/07/2017 21:16

Was it you turquoise who had that mammoth first week loss? Sorry old gimmer here who can't keep up!

Report
FoofFighter · 15/07/2017 21:17

Never, times like this that batch cooked meals that you could throw in the microwave save the day.
Or have an on plan Chinese! Syns are there to be used

Report
ALemonyPea · 15/07/2017 21:26

Throw those scales away! I can understand weighing once a day, but that is crazy. I weigh same time of the day so I know if I've gone up or down.

Report
TurquoiseOwl · 15/07/2017 21:34

@FoofFighter - I did 10.5 lbs last week Smile

I share the scales, so can't get rid of them! I know it's crazy, but I just know it won't be a loss. It does me no good as I purposely won't drink in the evenings, etc. so I can check my weight, but I know that's just stupid, so definitely need to stop.

It's entirely possible that with a massive loss like that, this weigh in might be a little lacking. Doesn't mean you've not tried, our bodies do not have any concept of time and do not know we expect them to lose a certain amount by a certain day of the week Wink

Report
TurquoiseOwl · 15/07/2017 22:40

Thank you ❤️

My consultant said to me last week that if I put my mind to it I could get my stone award this week Sad that's why I suppose I'm a bit disappointed! Don't want her suggesting that I'm not putting my mind to it.

Report
OwlinaTree · 16/07/2017 00:12

There's nothing more disappointing than a sts when you've worked at staying on plan all week. Unfortunately our bodies are full of hormones etc which mean we won't always lose weight in a totally linear way. It's a bummer but it's true. Stick with it.

Been to the pub tonight after singing in a show, so had a wine and a couple of gins. Pleased I went onto the gins! Have gone over syns today by about 5 but under other days this week so it's all good. Had a fab evening though!
