Day 2 massively off the wagon 😤 Properly restarting & going to group tomorrow and there will be no crisps in sight 🙄

Also, when setting the 'personal achievement target' does it need to be within a healthy BMI range? Ideally it would be and will be, but I'm short so it'd be quite low I think I need something within a stone of my current weight to stop lapsing. Ta x

I've been on plan all week, but I'm pretty sad. I don't think I'm going to lose much Sad I think that's probably why I lost 10.5 lol... Ah well, I have until Monday. I really wanted my stone award! Mind you, getting that in 2 weeks would have been crazy, haha.

I think you can set your target to what you like, as long as it's not below a certain weight. There's a table in one of the booklets.

@caremummy - no, it doesn't have to be.

Today I've eaten:
B: 2 ingredient banana and egg pancakes with raspberries and a teaspoon rapeseed oil
L: quinoa, shredded chicken, radishes, two dairylea triangles, a frappe
D: cauliflower pizza with mushroom, ham, watercress. Mozzarella in the base. Pint of semi skimmed milk.

Am breastfeeding so I get six healthy extras

Wow my mind is blown!! When I started SW 13 months ago one of the first things I did was try the overnight oats. I thought it was absolutely vile! I couldn't understand why everyone raved about them.
Today I have done a 2nd SP day after a blow out on Wednesday night and I thought I would give them another go to use my 2nd HE B. I did it with Quark, vanilla essence and sweetener, frozen raspberries and the oats. It was lush!! Very filling and just amazing. My tastebuds have changed soooo much. I am now plan to do a couple of SP days each week and when I do I will do overnight oats for breakfast.

That's interesting PositiveA
I've only tried overnight oats once, right at the start and I hated them. It was like eating cold vomit, the texture was horridConfused
I keep wishing I liked them so maybe I should try again!

Another one who tried overnight oats once at the start of my SW journey and hated them. May give them another whirl too.

Hi everyone.

I had a long wait as I wasn't taken until 3.30pm. Had some toast at 5.30am and after surgery had one tuna sandwich as I couldn't face 2. Had some melon and strawberries when I got home and snoozed until 10pm when I got DH to make me hot toast with butter and then had popcorn.

Pain relief is working well and I'm dozing on and off. Have some loosely food plans in place for tomorrow and will take it easy. It's more important to recover than stress about my eating just now.

Hope everyone is ok and I'll catch up better tomorrow z

I use all bran for overnight oats or the blueberry wheats from Aldi with Blueberry Lidl skyr yoghurt is nice. Tesco do a frozen breakfast topper which is good to put on top and let defrost. DH really likes any combination.

Hope you make a speedy recovery groovee, you are right you shouldn't worry about it for now, just get your strength back.

I also tried overnight oats once and never again. But I'm not sure I could stomach them now anymore than I could back then because I'm quite sensitive to certain textures that make me gag and that was one of them!

Got a meal out tonight for my dad's birthday which I plan to enjoy so that will be off plan. Going to the cafe for lunch too but will try to stay mostly on plan for that.

Got a gym class this morning which I'm looking forward to.

Well done everyone. Loving hearing about what others eat. I'm off to weigh in shortly, hoping for a decent chunk off again. Have kept on plan all week, even with a poorly DD (24h vomiting bug- mercifully nobody else seems to have caught it!). Need to keep on, and try and shift my hideous lard. My goal is to be able to wear my wedding and engagement rings again. It's been years... 😭 Hoping to have them back on. Y my bday in October!

Morning all! I'm off to a baby shower this afternoon which is afternoon tea at a posh hotel. What can I do about damage limitation?!

Report
pandorawithtreaclecolouredhair · 15/07/2017 08:26

Tigger, afternoon tea sounds like an occasion where there would be little chance to choose low-syn options: sandwiches, cakes, etc would all be quite high in syns.
I would have what I wanted at the afternoon tea, without going completely off the rails.
Stick to free foods for the rest of the day, save your healthy extras, and have plenty of speed foods.
I would then keep syns on the lower side for the rest of the week, and have some SP meals.
Have a lovely time, count today as a flexible syn day, and stay in control.

Tigger I'd enjoy and then draw the line as soon as you walk out of the posh hotel and be right back on it. Just eat what you want and perhaps not go in for seconds!
My theory is that I am in this long term and I still want to be able to enjoy life.

LavenderRains · 15/07/2017 09:52

grooveeFlowers best wishes for a speedy recovery.
tigger enjoy the posh tea, not worth scrimping on that, just get back on plan afterwardsCake

Report
Groovee · 15/07/2017 10:23

Tigger enjoy the afternoon tea. Stick to plan 100% the rest of the time and you should be ok.
