Thanks everyone for your reassuring comments.

i am definitely following the plan 100% and weighing everything properly. My consultant has said my food plans look honest and all on plan. I don't have a lot to lose compared to some I suppose, but I do still want to lose a fair whack. I'm currently 5 foot 5 and weigh 10 st 7.5 lbs, i want to get down to 10 stone as an interim target before I get married in just over 4 weeks, and then 9 stone after that. My BMI is healthy range again now which is a good thing.

This week I've focussed on adding more speed to my food, as I wonder if the pasta/potatoes isn't really working for me. So i will have smaller portions of the carbs and whack on loads more speed. Will be interesting to see if that helps boost my weight loss. HOWEVER, It's my hen do this weekend so I can't imagine weigh in next week will be anything to write home about Grin

funnygirlthatbelle · 13/07/2017 13:24

Also do other people eat before they weigh in? My weigh in isn't until 7.30pm so I eat before hand as my meetings don't finish until 9.30pm sometimes!

TurquoiseOwl · 13/07/2017 13:31

My group is at 11 and I don't eat before. When I did it last year, my group was in the evenings and I didn't eat all day. It was such a mistake and I think that's why I gave up Grin

Groovee · 13/07/2017 13:49

I don't eat as it's 5.30pm. I eat once weigh in is done as I have my Burlesque class afterwards.

If it was 7.30pm I would eat before.

LavenderRainbows · 13/07/2017 14:20

Good luck with the op groovee

groovester we need our heads banging together! Let's vow to lose something next weigh in. Deal?!Grin

turquoise step away from the scales! It does you no good😠

Groovester · 13/07/2017 15:17

Deal lavender!

Good luck Groovee

ALemonyPea · 13/07/2017 16:16

I don't think I could survive an evening WI. I get weighed at 11:30, and I'm eating at 11:31 😁I don't eat before WI.

NeverEnoughSleep1 · 13/07/2017 17:47

Can I join? I done SW about 6 months ago but couldn't get into it but gained loads more weight then read up online properly and decided to try again I had my first weigh in this week and lost 4.5lb with I'm over the moon at but there's only so much I can talk about free and speed foods to my DP

FoofFighter · 13/07/2017 18:18

I weigh in at 9.30am, don't normally have time for breakfast before, it won't matter if you eat or not even eat all day, as long as you do it all the time it'll be consistent.

Survived a day out in the big town :o

B: alpen light (half heb)
snack at cinema - 6 syn Graze nut box
Lunch: tomato and red pepper soup at a healthy vegan/gf place, adding 1 syn to cover a minute bit of probable oil
Costa coffee - allowing this as my hexa milk for today
T: chicken, sweetcorn, peas, onions, green pepper and beansprouts stifried in actifry with oyster sauce. I may possibly be addicted to this, it's my third one since Monday!

BasinHaircut · 13/07/2017 21:13

Welcome never, don't worry that's all we go on about here!

funny, as long as you do the same each week (eat or not eat) then it won't effect your weight loss.

Another good day for me today.
B - porridge (HEXA&B) and sugar (2syns)
L - taco mince with rice, lettuce and salsa (2 syns)
Sn - 2 rice cakes with peanut butter (5 syns)
D - speedy bolognese with half spaghetti, half peppers and courgette, Parmesan (3syns)

And I massively fell off the wagon, I'm doing an SP day tomorrow to refocus my cake-driven mind :)

Wh0Kn0wsWhereTheTimeGoes · 13/07/2017 22:04

I have a question. What happens if you miss a week? My DS has broken up from school already and our routines are in chaos (DD is still at school, I have two part time jobs to juggle with this). Which means I couldn't go to group this morning. I could have gone last night, but didn't because I planned to go to a different one tomorrow morning after I have dropped DS at sports camp. I thought it was at 9am (I drop DS at 8.30 and start work nearby at 9.15ish). Double checked tonight and it doesn't start till 9.30, so I can't go. There are no others tomorrow I can get to either. So it looks as though I am going to miss a week. What will happen?

latedecember1963 · 13/07/2017 22:07

I WI at 9-30 am so don't eat beforehand. I've started taking some fruit with me to eat once I've been weighed.
Hope all goes well tomorrow, Groovee.

BasinHaircut · 13/07/2017 22:10

whoknows you will just have to pay double next week

OP posts:
Wh0Kn0wsWhereTheTimeGoes · 13/07/2017 23:24

That's annoying. I can see why they do it though. The logistics of our school holidays are a nightmare.

ALemonyPea · 14/07/2017 06:56

Whoknows, you could message your consultant and ask for a holiday for this week, you get 6 a year, saves you paying if you miss.

Tigger83 · 14/07/2017 07:07

First wi and 2lb down just another 33lb to go!

OwlinaTree · 14/07/2017 07:34

Good luck for today groovee.

Well done losers. I'm having a busy week, so glad it's Friday!

Groovee · 14/07/2017 07:39

Thanks everyone.

Am hiding in bed to stop me eating 😂

newmumFeb17 · 14/07/2017 07:45

Morning all! I introduced myself last thread - but namechanged since then as I am not a mum to be anymore! I'm 8 weeks in and 13 pounds down. Really chuffed with that! Fingers crossed for my stone award next week. I have found that limiting carbs is working well for me. I had a gain a couple of weeks ago, I had been on plan but having loads of potato each day which obviously doesn't suit me. Not doing strict SP though as I like to have a fat free yogurt with breakfast and sometimes in the evening.
Really enjoying it though, and feeling amazing due to all the fruit and veg I'm eating!
Loving reading your journeys too.
Have a great weekend!

BasinHaircut · 14/07/2017 08:34

lemony I didn't think you could book holiday retrospectively?

OP posts:
Groovee · 14/07/2017 08:47

It can depend on your consultant Basin. Some will do it, others want the back fees x

BasinHaircut · 14/07/2017 10:16

Oh ok, I just assumed it physically wouldn't let them do it on the system.

MinniesAndMickeysNeedCounting · 14/07/2017 10:46

Lost half lb this week

Lost a bit of motivation.

Had a nice dinner last night, the Hunters chicken from July magazine, had to add cornflour to the sause cause as with all SW receipes in my experience was to thin.

OrianaBanana · 14/07/2017 12:08

Well done newmum!

I put 2lbs on, well deserved, but I stayed to group and have my motivation back! Lentil dahl in the slow cooker for tonight, I'll add some spinach and maybe roast some cauliflower for speed.
