Today I'm restarting slimming world, been doing it on line and would love a buddy or support.

Weighed this morning at 12st 7.5lbs and really want to be back to 11 stone in time for school holidays partly to get back into my summer clothes !

Struggling with motivation and can't exercise as hurt my leg 😥

Anyone want to join in x
Hoping my target is doable x

I'm sorry for jumping in straight there I posted on the wrong thread 😂 not some random who's rocked up I promise Grin

May as well fill you in if that's ok. I rejoined last Friday- 3rd time. By some miracle i haven't regained any of the weight I lost when I left in February but I still have more to go. Currently 11s 1lb, my goal weight is 9s 7 lb. Hoping to lost a stone by mid August if possible. No reason just an aim.

Newbiecat · 28/06/2017 02:16

Hello all- been quiet the last couple of days as busy with the kids and can't believe my first weigh in is tomorrow or today since I'm up with a hungry little baba currently

I feel as though I have lost weight from my tummy so fingers crossed!

I'm struggling a bit to work out my diary/syns as we do tend to eat out a fair bit- maybe twice a week for lunch and once for tea so hope I'm not underestimating syns. I've never done any diet before so it's all new.
I've really suprised myself by not missing bread/chocolate much (the occasional cruchie helped!) although I'd love some good savoury snack recommendations from
anyone for on the go. I'm breastfeeding so can have a few more HEXS.
I'll hopefully be able to get some ideas from IMAGE therapy. I'll keep you posted!

SharkSkinThing · 28/06/2017 05:50

Well done busy and twinkle. Little victories really do make a difference.

We're having some better sleep and although mornings are still early, DS is staying in his room til 6am. Amazing what a bribe of Pokemon cards can achieve!

BF: Yoghurt and fruit
LU: Salmon salad with rice
DI: Jacket, beans and salad

Usual snacks and HEX's, 13,000 steps.

Happy Wednesday all. 🍎🍎🍎

MiniCooperLover · 28/06/2017 12:29

I forgot to do my overnight Oats last night so today so far has been:

BF: one 650g Slice of wholemeal with 2 eggs cooked in fry light, one banana
L: big plate of salad greens with pickled beetroot, tomatoes, low fat cottage cheese, sliced ham
D: will be chicken breast stuffed with Dairylea Light wrapped in Parma Ham and little potatoes and veg.

Syns at 1.5 so far.

Newbiecat · 28/06/2017 15:30

I forgot to do my overnight oats too mini so the kids and I all had porridge with raisins and I had fresh raspberries.
So my first weigh in done I'm 31/2 pounds down and pretty pleased with that! I bought some hifi bars to try - had choc orange and mint choc and so far tried one of each, hee hee! They're surprisingly nice tho so that's a nice sweet treat for me Smile
I'm aiming for 3-4 pounds again next week but have a night out with food planned at the weekend so we'll see! Hoping to up the exercise this week to counter balance that ha ha!!

Mulch · 28/06/2017 17:54

Yea stocked up yesterday, think I've been eating to much carby fruit ie mango so bought in loads of berries and nut butters to add

busyboysmum · 28/06/2017 19:45

Newbiecat that's a great loss well done. Cracking start.

I'm eating lots of fruit but feeling a bit headachy in the evening. Not sure what to do to sort it out really.

SharkSkinThing · 28/06/2017 20:39

Awesome, Newbie! Well done!

Hope you are ok, Busy. Need a bit more water? Less caffeine? Fingers crossed it passes.

I'm a mango addict, Mulch, so need to watch that too.

Stealing your dairylea stuffed chicken recipe, mini. Inspired!

Stayed on plan but hardly any walking at all today due to workload so stuck at desk.

Normally manage one before the school run but just didn't get the time. I'll swim tomorrow night and then Saturday I'm doing a 1.5k sea swim, so saving some energy might not be a bad idea anyway.....

Will post again in the morning, well done everyone. :)

busyboysmum · 28/06/2017 20:48

I think more water would definitely help. I feel very grumpy. Keep having to explain to the kids why.

Just had ham wrapped round cucumber as a snack and a glass of water.

I'm very fond of the Crustless quiche for tea with beans and lots of veg in it. You can chuck whatever you want in so I put onions tomatoes peppers mushrooms ham. It's delicious.

SharkSkinThing · 29/06/2017 07:55

That quiche sounds lovely, Busy. Might make a huge frittata tonight.

Quick post and horribly busy day.

BF: Ham, banana
LU: Chicken barley stew and salad
DI: Omelette and salad

Need to swim and walk today!

00alwaysbusymum · 29/06/2017 08:15

Morning everyone,

You are doing so well, I've stuck on plan.

Today is breakfast yogurt & nectarines
Snack banana & apple
Lunch: ham & egg salad, melon & grapes
Dinner chicken, courgette mushrooms & rice & salad

Options hot chocolate

Feeling shattered all week, just too busy at work but determined to stay focused! Turned down a snickers 3 times this week at work !Wink

I'm not convinced by the overnight oats but I'll give it another try to be sure.

BF: overnight oats with some strawberries and a small amount of honey
L: small potato cooked like a jacket, some beans, a dairylea light and a side salad of leaves, tomatoes and spring onions
D; grilled chicken breast with a side salad and some uncle Ben's Mexican rice.
Tea, Diet Coke, water and fruit as snacks 👍

Mulch · 29/06/2017 09:09

I love overnight oats! I bake some apples with abit of cinnamon and a blob of peanut butter. Or banana and blueberries. Always peanut butter though the combo is magnificent

Mulch · 30/06/2017 09:22

Measured and weighed myself today, no change in measurements but down 2kg. Telling myself it's come off elsewhere. How's everyone's plans for weekend?

SharkSkinThing · 30/06/2017 09:39

Morning gang. Well done Mulch. 2kg is amazing.

One off for me this week, so happy with that. That makes half a stone.

Weekend plans - early night (and no wine, sob) for me as doing a 1.5k sea swim tomorrow.

If I am still alive then I'll plan the rest of the weekend!

Everyone else?

busyboysmum · 30/06/2017 11:28

Morning all. Weighed in at 11 stone 3lb this morning so delighted. Have lost 6lbs this week but am guessing it's the water weight that comes off easily. The slog now begins.......

Have done body balance this morning with my son who has a teacher training day. We've had a swim. Now we're having a smoothie then we're going to play tennis.

Namesarehard · 30/06/2017 12:27

Had my first wi this morning and lost 5.5lb . I was gobsmacked. 13.5lb until my goal. So happy Smile

MiniCooperLover · 30/06/2017 13:13

Well done with the weigh ins. Mine is Monday, we'll see how that goes ...

Just had lunch. Made the crust less quiche, think I took it out of the oven 5 mins too early as it didn't hold its shape as well as it has in the past but still quite tasty. It had eggs, low fat cottage cheese, courgette, onion, pepper, sweetcorn, mushrooms and something else but I can't remember now. I haven't eaten so much veg in years as I have this week 👍

00alwaysbusymum · 30/06/2017 13:35

Well done everyone on your amazing losses !

OP posts:
00alwaysbusymum · 30/06/2017 13:37

I'm not working today but sticking to plan

Breakfast lots of coffee!
Lunch eggs, beans, mushrooms & tomatoes
Dinner morrocan chicken & rice

Going out tomorrow night so determined to have minimal syns and enjoy tomorrow

OP posts:
MiniCooperLover · 30/06/2017 19:22

I had about 22 syns left over from Monday-Friday so I've worked out I can have 2 glasses of Frezenet and one G&slimline tonic and still have some to spare for the weekend as a cushion

twinkle183 · 01/07/2017 11:50

Morning all!! So i have been MIA recently these 12hr shifts are taking there toll....

Have been pretty good but its time of the month and I always bloat and with water retention! So fingers crossed I loose a 1lb just to keep momentum! So had the shift from hell! Since when has communication become a skill!?? Hmm but usually i would of eaten everything in sight but managed to control myself Halo
