Today I'm restarting slimming world, been doing it on line and would love a buddy or support.

Weighed this morning at 12st 7.5lbs and really want to be back to 11 stone in time for school holidays partly to get back into my summer clothes !

Struggling with motivation and can't exercise as hurt my leg 😥

Anyone want to join in x
Hoping my target is doable x

Hello all- have we all given up here now?! Only 1lb loss for me last week - lots of end of term celebrations and vino 😂
Finding it hard to get my exercise in with 3 kids at home- tiring but not the same as a 3 mile run! How is everyone else?

You can get goat in this country just not supermarkets have to go to independent butchers stores ect. Sounds like they've not cooked it long enough. Done properly it should just fall off the bone and on the plus side goat meat is really lean compared to chicken/turkey ext.

I think it tends to be mutton actually in this country and they just call it curried goat. It was pretty tough and chewy so I left most of it tbh. All the other stuff was delicious though.

I'm stuck at 11 stone 1lb atm which at 5 foot 7 gives me a bmi of 25. I go to Majorca for 2 weeks next Friday and my mum and I have made a pact to try to be good on holiday. We will see how that goes.....

I'm intrigued by curried goat busy?! Was it nice? I've been a bit derailed by end of term stuff and had a BBQ and Sunday lunch out so was delighted by 11/2pounds off this week. Need to up it next week tho before hols in 3 weeks - yikes!
People have started noticing I've lost weight tho which gives me an extra incentive. My BMI is now 26 so I feel happier about that too. I hope I'm not becoming too much of a food bore with friends tho.
How is everyone else doing?

Thanks Shark,

Feeling better today. Went to a 50th Saturday night anyway and overindulged on the Pimms and the jerk chicken, curried goat and saltfish..... so the scales were showing no loss this morning.

Ho hum. My oldest son is in our office this week doing his work experience and he has just had fish and chips for lunch whilst I have been back on the soup. I did have a tiny bit of the white fish and just inhaled the fumes of the chips - smelt delicious.

Hope you all have a good week.

I have to say that I managed to squeeze into a pair of trousers for the party that I haven't worn ever as I have never been slim enough. So that was a buzz.

Hey all. So sorry to hear that you have been so poorly, busy. Get well soon.

Hope you enjoyed thee graduation, Mulch and well done.

I have maintained again, so I'm clearly doing something wrong! I think my portions might be too big.

I'm going to step back for a bit and try seven days of calorie counting to see if good old fashioned food in/exercise does the trick. Hate having to change track but don't want to give up.

Will report back next Fri, but thank you for all the support and advice so far! 💛

I am currently in bed with food poisoning so may well be under it by tomorrow! I went out for lunch after my body balance class at the gym this morning with some friends and the chicken I had was obviously not cooked well enough and everything that has ever been in my body has been coming out this evening which is nice.....

11 stone 1lb this morning at my gym 😁 really pleased. If I could get below 11 stone before I go away in 2 weeks time I would be so happy.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Hi all I am still here I just been madly busy with loads going on this week. I will weigh myself at the gym tomorrow morning and let you know how I have been getting on. I do feel like I may have lost a pound or two but there's only two weeks now until we go away on holiday so it's not going to be as much as I was hoping for.

Hope your all recovered newbie! How's everyone getting on? Got weight in/measurements tomorrow, feel at peace with it as cheesy as it sounds I think my taste buds have changed, walked down a biscuit aisle and didn't even flinch, feel full all the time and got my exercise routine nailed.

Hello I'm still here! Had a week of 3 kids with vomiting bug 48 hours apart to keep me busy! I was dreading weigh in today after homemade flapjack for poorly boy was too tempting and sat on my bum with children draped on me but amazingly 2lb off and got my 1/2 stone award Smile
If I can keep going over the next 4 weeks I'll have 1stone off before summer hols so need to keep going. I admit I found it all a bit boring last week and did reach for the chocolate fix a couple of times but I syned it all on my diary.
mulch in the end I decided against measuring as I think I could get a bit too obsessed with it! Hope you're all doing ok

Hello everyone.

Wednesday is my long day at work where get trapped at my desk, but still aiming for a decent amount of steps.

BF: Cottage cheese and crudités
LU: Left over veggie curry
DI: Jacket and beans

Only seem to be having one Hex (sunflower seeds on my yoghurt) but feel OK on it. The test will be not having wine this week!

Hope everyone else is OK (and still on the thread!).

Morning all. Day off for me so time to swim, walk and write. I am training for a 3k sea swim and a 5k lido swim which is helping me to stay motivated. Also hit 15,005 steps yesterday!

BF: Eggs and ham
LU: Chicken salad
DI: Veggie curry

Addicted to satsumas at the moment, unusual for me as I'm not a huge fruit eater.

Usual snacks, HEX's, steps and a long swim.

Hope everyone is doing well and doing OK. 🍉🍐🍉

You sound a lady with a plan shark! What's everyones plans for the week? I'm going full keto until Fri which is 4 days and most of today done. Not that I'm counting or anything

Wise words, Mulch, I will try and remember these!

I had the weekend off , which I think I needed. Back on it today and feeling very focused after spending yesterday batch cooking and planning my food.

4 weeks until our holiday, and aiming for another half a stone, meaning a stone since we started. My end goal is a total of 4 stone by Christmas, so manageable.

BF: Scrambled eggs
LU: Rice and vegetable salad
DI: Ham omelette

Lots of watermelon for snacking, yoga later and 15,000 steps. I am also going to be wine free for 4 weeks to help get things moving.

Happy Monday all!

Thanks shark, whenever I've been doing a lot of or just recent exercise my weight just does not move. Think it might be fluid retention or muscle inflammation but after a few days rest I see that dial finally move abit

Well done Mulch - fantastic!

I have maintained this week - FFS! Why???!!!

I have been spot on, and have been swimming 6 days out of 7, as well as walking and yoga! I know sometimes it all catches up the next week, but feeling a bit pissed off. Can't even blame my lady time either!

I am out tonight, for drinks with friends with work, but will try not to self destruct!

Mulch · 07/07/2017 08:32

Wasn't expecting a result being my lady time but 1kg down. Waist 33inches no change 2inches off in total so far. Largest part 43.5inches 2.5 inches off in total. How's everyone getting on?
