00alwaysbusymum · 05/06/2017 12:36

Today I'm restarting slimming world, been doing it on line and would love a buddy or support.

Weighed this morning at 12st 7.5lbs and really want to be back to 11 stone in time for school holidays partly to get back into my summer clothes !

Struggling with motivation and can't exercise as hurt my leg 😥

Anyone want to join in x
Hoping my target is doable x

Thanks girls...

Mulch how do you make your protein pancakes...? I make mine with oats, eggs and cottage cheese.

So my friend introduced me to this fantastic app - that allows me to track my syns!! Which is fab cos I really don't want to lose count!

Shark hips getting better... thanks!! I completely love popping in to the sea.... Smile

Mulch · 20/06/2017 21:37

Protein powder, eggs and baking soda. Had it with Yogurt topping and berries

SharkSkinThing · 21/06/2017 07:35

Glad to hear you are feeling better, Twinkle.

Still hot here, and DS up in the night as struggling with the heat. I think (hope) the weather is going to break tomorrow.

BF: Cottage cheese and crudités
LU: Chicken salad
DI: Tofu stir fry and noodles

Usual HEX's and snacks; aiming for the usual 13,000 steps.

Happy Wednesday all.

twinkle183 · 21/06/2017 11:25

Thanks Shark hoping to go swimming tomorrow - just to test the hip out!

Its not that hot here - its been raining this morning!!

Had a banana and 2x alpen light bars for brekkie - not sure what to have for the rest of day but I know I will figure it out.

Happy wednesday ladies.! Smile Grin

Hello all! I joined SW yesterday for the first time Smile

I am a little nervous but excited to get started. I want to get from 11.6 to 9.12 if possible....a weight from when I was younger and feeling at my happiest!

I'm just getting my head around anything and haven't had chance to do a proper shop yet. That will happen this evening. But as today is my first official day, here's my plan;

Breakfast - had 2x poached eggs and beans in the office (thank goodness the canteen makes them, I had zero time this am whoops!)
Lunch - hadn't been shopping so had nothing to make, I grabbed a M&S chickpea/cauliflower salad which was 2.5 syns and some chicken! Surprisingly filling!
Dinner - some veggie pasta tonight I think...made it last night so leftovers!!!

Just had the shock of my life because I looked up M&S apple slices with a tiny bit of peanut butter (a new snack pot you can buy) and it's 13.5 syns! DYING! Shock

well done to everyone so far - sounds like you are all doing amazingly. it's great to have some like-minded people around!

SharkSkinThing · 21/06/2017 16:35

Hello Katy and welcome!

Sounds like you are getting in the zone, the key is definitely checking everything!

I am so exhausted with this heat. I barely managed 9,000 steps and plan on sleeping on the kitchen floor.

Hope everyone else is OK. 🍒🍒🍒

Mulch · 21/06/2017 21:15

Hello Katie sounds like your on it.

Morning Buggyfit class in the park fasted. Breakfast leftovers tandoori Chicken and cauliflower rice

Lunch smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, cucumber, strawberries, nectarine, orange and aldi Malaysian sweet pea snack

Dinner zero calorie noodles, tuna, broccoli, Pesto

Snacks sliced beef, sliced ham and cottage cheese

Did 45mins of yoga for backbends
Just want to eat a fuckton of fruit and salad in this weather

SharkSkinThing · 22/06/2017 07:20

Morning all. It's cooled down here thankfully, so will be able to get some decent walking in today!

BF: Boiled eggs
LU: Banana and Muller (in meetings all day til 2pm, with no breaks)
DI: Tofu stir fry

Usual HEX's and snacks

Very much looking forward to Chardonnay Friday. This is my third week now of only drinking once a week. If nothing else, I'm rather proud of that!

Happy Thursday all.

So morning ladies....

I had some really interesting news and i am Blush to say that i consumed a whole box of ferrero rocher!! Sad.. but have drawn a line under it and started a fresh today! Seeing as I never ever use my syns I will just make sure I don't go over my weekly limit, which seeing as I am nights starting Friday it is so doable.

Welcome katyizzy

Glad everyone is doing well... keep going.

SharkSkinThing · 22/06/2017 11:44

We have all been there Twinkle! After all, that's why we're here in the first place!

Don't dwell, move on and I hope they were lovely!

twinkle183 · 22/06/2017 16:48

Afternoon ladies

Having a fab day...

Lunch was gorgeous! Had a jacket potato with some smoked salmon, side salad and two fried eggs!! And treated myself some pepsi max.. Halo Feeling great!

Had some fantastic news - so things are looking up...

oh and the sun is still shining so thats a bonus especially as we have had rain here....

I hope everyone is having a good day. Smile

Mulch · 22/06/2017 22:04

That sounds yum twinkle, smoked salmon makes everything better.

Breakfast fasted walk for 1.5 banana, chicken stir fry, Malaysian flavour pea snacks,

Lunch stir fry, cherries, nectarine

Dinner scrambled egg, sliced beef, mango, aldi dark chocolate

Gym-leg day

Not managed to hit my calories today so will no doubt wake up starving tomorrow. If only I could just fill up on crap I'd have no problem

SharkSkinThing · 23/06/2017 05:20

Smoked salmon is delicious!

Hurrah for Friday! Early swimthen work for me, and DP out tonight so I can get my pj's on early and watch crappy telly with some wine. I can do that any night of course (without the wine), but I do love a night in on my own!

BF: Yoghurt and fruit
LU: Jacket, beans and salad
DI: Chicken stew

Wine!

Happy Friday all! 🏊🏊🏊

Mulch · 23/06/2017 08:28

Today's measurements

Smallest part of waist 33inches another inch off, total lost 2 inches so far

Largest part 44inches no change but 1inch lost so far.

Be sooo happy once weight starts shifting from lower tummy it's always last go grrr. Weighed myself and I'm literally same weight so need none scale victories to keep me going, 3weeks until oh's graduation want to be a dress size smaller.

twinkle183 · 23/06/2017 09:22

Morning ladies....

So starting my first of three night shift tonight Sad!!! So will be packing my lunch box tonight... making sure i stay on plan! Oh and lots of fluid to stay away... Wink

mulch i wouldn't worry about the scales too much cos an inch loss is a better victory as that means your losing fat.. muscle is leaner but weighs exactly the same - So high five for the inch loss....

Shark nothing nicer than an early swim - esp. when the pool is empty!!! Smile

Have a good day ladies....

SharkSkinThing · 23/06/2017 10:25

Exactly, Mulch, if clothes are feeling looser, then things are working. In three weeks you will notice the difference - have you got a dress all picked?

Mulch · 23/06/2017 19:07

00alwaysbusymum · 23/06/2017 20:31

You guys are all doing so well !

Today I had an away day at work and I was very good and took my lunch with me Smile

So breakfast was yogurt banana and shreddies

Lunch ham & egg salad

Dinner - need to go and cook something with chicken & courgettes!

Tomorrow we are going out to friends for cocktails & BBQ so will not count syns just enjoy it!

OP posts:
SharkSkinThing · 24/06/2017 06:34

That's gorge, Mulch.

Enjoy yourselves at the BBQ, always.

I am feeling v sorry for myself. DS didn't fall asleep until 10pm again and was a nightmare. He was then sick and of course woke at 4.30am. He's supposed to be at a trampoline party this pm but now can't go. DP and I were looking forward to a few child free hours to have a walk and lunch. We have no family near by so unless we book a day off work, time off together never happens. And I'm babysitting tonight. Oh and DP was out last night so missed all of this (and is still asleep in the spare room now).

Sorry. Feel better for ranting. Will try not to comfort eat today!

Newbiecat · 24/06/2017 06:57

Morning all, am I too late to join?!!

I started SW for the first time this week and targets are very similar! Aiming for 11st from 12stine 4lb before middle of August when we're off to hols.

I have 3DC youngest is 8 months and I've been a horror at binging on biscuits (not one but 1/2 packet!) and chocolate between meals when tired so I empathise with you shark!
I'm still breastfeeding 4-5 times in 24 hrs so am getting my head round what HEX's I'm allowed (about 4 I think as baby weaning) I know I'm still probably eating more than I should but just getting into swing of it on day 3! Please feel free to comment where i may be going wrong!

Yesterday:
B- shreddies
L- cafe jacket potato, piri piri chicken in sauce, green salad. Apple
T- salmon, sweet potato wedges, asparagus

HEXA - 300 MLS semi skimmed milk
HEXB-2 X 40g shreddies - one breakfast, one late afternoon snack
2x thin oatcakes

Syn - crunchie (81/2!) - thank Crunchie it's FridayGrin
Tiny blob butter (?2)

4 mile walk with bunny in pram - mod/fast pace

Newbiecat · 24/06/2017 06:58

Aghh- bubby in pram not bunny!

SharkSkinThing · 24/06/2017 19:10

Hello newbie. Nice to meet you and thank you for the sympathy!

I gone spectacularly off plan today, due to chronic sleep deprivation. I am not even going to try and work out what it's all worth.

What I will do is go to bed shortly after DS (provided he bloody GOES to sleep) then start afresh tomorrow. I'm going to bend the rules slightly and move my weigh in to Friday. This way I stay in control and stay on track, rather than fuck it up royally as crash completely.

This is my first bad day in 3 weeks so trying not to feel like a failure!

Will post in the morning; hope everyone else is OK. 💜
