Starting a 7 week count down to summer 1.5 stone to lose

Today I'm restarting slimming world, been doing it on line and would love a buddy or support.

Weighed this morning at 12st 7.5lbs and really want to be back to 11 stone in time for school holidays partly to get back into my summer clothes !

Struggling with motivation and can't exercise as hurt my leg 😥

Anyone want to join in x
Hoping my target is doable x

Definitely 00always ! I'm similar to you goal wise but I've never managed to get as low as you, 11st is the weight I'd like to be by end of July when we go on holiday, bit fear it'll be a tall order, but I'm going to give it my best shot👍 x

Back on it today feeling energetic after all those dirty carbs

Morning 1.5half fasted walk smoked salmon, cucumber and scrambled and eggs

Lunch mixed berry, mango Spinach Smoothie. Roast Paprika Chickpeas

Dinner 5% fat Mince, fuckton of broccoli, kidney beans and seasonings

Snacks large oranges cottage cheese and beef slices

Exercise circuits followed by kettle bell class. Going to feel it tomorrow

Steam, I really hope you get near your target or hit it for your holiday. When in July is it ?

I made such an effort last year as we had a holiday booked with some friends and I can honestly say it was great because for the first time in probably 15 years I felt happy with my clothes and appearance and didn't feel too stressed about getting in the pool with the children.

Wow mulch - very impressed with you plan !

My dinner plans went out the window as my husband decided to do a roast as his dad was over, but I stayed on track and had no potatoes but had rice instead and no pudding.

But stayed on plan so far. Going to eat some fruit now and a mug of options hot chocolate with a bit of box set watching !

In my second week of SW here, lost 3lb the first week and gained 0.5lb tonight grrrrrr. Can I join you? I have a question - what's a 1.5 fasted walk?

You've got some discipline nothing could keep me from roasties. Fasted walk I get out with the pram for a power walk before breakfast. I usually have breakfast at lunch time, cause I'm a greedy guts I save all my meals 1-7pm so I get to eat loads in one go.

31st July 00always when we go. I just want to feel more confident in swimming costume (no way I'd wear bikini) and hoping more weight loss will help with swollen ankles/feet which are horrific on holiday in heat.

It's been a good Monday, stayed on plan, thanks for the motivation everyone!

Four pounds! So have gone from 15.2 to 14.10 in this first week. I had originally posted that I was 14 as so mortified at being (just) over 15 stone, but now I know this has worked I can come clean.

So feeling supper motivated for the next week. How did you get on Groovee?

Day off for me, so plan on writing, walking (13,000 seems to be a manageable average for me), swimming and housework.

BF: Eggs and ham
LU: Jacket, beans, fuckton of salad
DI: Stiry fry veggies with rice and quorn

HEX: Cheese/sunflower seeds. Snacks: Fruit and yoghurt.

Thank for all the first-week support; it makes a difference!

Today has not started great - missed my bus and 2 yr old has cried for 1/2 hr because her brother stuck his tongue out at her Angry

But we are going to stick to plan !

Breakfast hard boiled egg & muller light
Lunch ham & egg salad, fruit salad of melon & nectarine
Dinner left over lamb & something healthy ... !

Thanks, always. Not to get too deep, but I feel relief more than anything, that I am back in control and have a good chance of achieving this.

I remember the 2 year old days (as they were only 4 years ago!). I hope things improve for you and your day is peaceful!

Posting my menu and exercise on here really helps me stay focused.

14,500 steps for me today and a 50 minute swim. I'm doing a 5k swim in September (200 lengths of a pool, god help me), so need to be able to swim for 2.5 hours. Eek!

Great work grovee!

Today I've struggled to eat all my food but want to hit a certain calorie amount for exercise.

Breakfast 1.5 fasted walk. Scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, cucumber

Lunch Mince beef, broccoli, Rachels organic vanilla Yogurt

Dinner flourless courgette tuna fritters (would have been better with flour) fried plantain

Snacks cottage cheese and sliced beef

Me, Me waving!! I got on the scales today and was modified by what i saw so decided to join SW today.... I have been before and it worked really well... I am just struggling to get going this time. I have put all the weight that I lost plus more since my mum died... But i am so ready to get back to the old me... So pretty please let me join in...

I start three nightshift tomorrow so please excuse me if I am posting at silly times in the morning.. I have also joined the gym in hope to tone to the flabby bits as I go along.

I have about 3 stone to lose.. so please help and give me a good kick up the arse bottom! Blush

Morning all.

Today's plan:

BF: Cottage cheese and crudités
LU: Left over veg/quorn stir fry and rice
DI: Ham omelette +HEX A cheese and salad

Lots of fruit and yoghurt.

Will aim for 15,000 steps but Weds my long day at work and often get stuck at desk.

Today feeling disorganised and haven't grabbed my breakfast snack for work so going to have my fruit salad and go to shops to buy some more fruit. Normally we have tons of fruit at home but the kids have eaten everything this week already, which is really good.

Lunch is normal ham & egg salad
Dinner is spag Bol

Morning!!! Thanks for the warm welcome ladies....

SharkSkinThing i am doing the online thing as i work shifts and can't always guarantee that I will to make it to group - so thought I would try online first.

Am nights for the next three nights so will have to be super organised! I am a terribly snacker so hopefully if I take lots of fruit and fish/chicken to snack on that will work. Lots of water..... me thinks Hmm

So will pop back later and see how everyone has got on!!!
