Well done @ALemonyPea glad to hear things are moving!

I'm bunged up again. I'm going daily but it's taking a while to go through 🙈

OwlinaTree · 11/04/2017 13:36

Well done lemony! That's a fab loss.

emwithme · 11/04/2017 15:36

Easter Biscuits are 9 each and don't come in ones.

Hot cross buns are 9.5 each, and come in pairs minimum. Plus butter.

I am accepting the gain and moving on next week.

I will then have half a stone to lose and will have that gone by the end of May...

SideOrderofSprouts · 11/04/2017 15:42

Well done lemony!

ALemonyPea · 11/04/2017 15:48

This was on the SW website, a good little guide for those who need a choc fix.

I have 2 lb to go for my 6.5 stone award, 9lb for target. I want it by the end of May, so hoping I continue to lose now. I can start doing exercise next week sobs

Apparently the winner of the year is being crowned at group tomorrow and it's
another taste session. I will be doing a flying visit as I'm on night shift.

ALemonyPea · 11/04/2017 17:17

Thanks. I've been going to SW a year today. Didn't even get an anniversary card off my consultant 😭

2 1/2 off for me today so really pleased as got my 1 1/2 stone award. Got a bad weekend coming up through at a wedding on Easter Sunday. Will be back later for a proper read through.

SideOrderofSprouts · 11/04/2017 17:52

That's a bit rude!

SideOrderofSprouts · 11/04/2017 17:53

The not getting a card I mean 😂

BasinHaircut · 11/04/2017 18:12

Well done where!

Well come home early from work to go to a walk in centre coz I can barely walk. Phoned first and glad I did because they told me not to bother as it was a 2+ hour wait and they would likely stop taking patients soon anyway as it was alnly just over 2hrs to closing time.

Called my GP and they gave me a number for a hub (which I think is like out of hours??) but no appointments until 10pm tonight. I can't drive and DH can't take me coz DS will be in bed so just going to try GP again in the morning. I have got an appointment for Thursday evening if i can't get anything before.

In these situations usually I'd find an excuse to order a takeaway, but thanks to my meal prep session on Sunday I can't find a decent excuse and we are having the planned curry, rice and roasted cauliflower.

JessicaPeach · 11/04/2017 18:25

Hi All, im going to join in if you dont mind, havent read through the thread yet but I will later this evening to see what everyone is up to, fave meals etc.

I successfully lost 2 stone doing slimming world last year then was so busy congratulating myself about it that I gained it all back! I've got an instagram account this time which will hopefully make me a bit more accountable. When I last did SW the ladies on this thread had a hash tag I think? Can someone remind me what it is and I will join in over there too

Looking forward to getting involved :)

calzone · 11/04/2017 18:50

doh.

I think I may have worked out why my weight loss has stopped.

I'm on the implant for contraception and have been bleeding pretty heavily for coming up to 23 days!!!! I am ringing the doctors tomorrow to ask what I should do but periods always weigh me heavier.

Anyhoo, I have had a huge bowl of carrot porridge this morning.
A taste of ice cream at Creams.
Sw chicken tikka masala and cauliflower rice for dinner.
Lots of water too.

OwlinaTree · 11/04/2017 19:29

Well done lemony and where! Welcome newbies.

I lost 3lb so got my 2.5 stone award! I'm delighted! Now in the stone I want to be in, and hoping to lose either 6 or 13 more lb, see how I get on.

Now just got to get through the water weekend, husband's birthday and holiday without gaining it all again!!

OwlinaTree · 11/04/2017 19:29

Easter weekend sorry.

BasinHaircut · 11/04/2017 19:32

Well done owlina!

calzone tell me about carrot porridge, I'm intrigued!

OwlinaTree · 11/04/2017 19:33

Thanks basin Smile

ALemonyPea · 11/04/2017 19:35

Whoop whoop well done Owlina.

Calzone, that could well be why you're not losing. How long have you had the implant in?

It's freezing here today, I have thick woolly socks on and have the heating blasting. Can't get warm.

Well done all you that have lost.

Absolutely pissed off here. 2 bloody massive lbs ON!!! I did Not deserve that!! I have not been brilliant this week, but I have not been bad, either. On Saturday I met a friend for a meal and asked for a salmon salad with no salad dressing and when it came it was laden with dressing, but I didn't want to cause a fuss, so I ate it! Been kicking myself ever since. That would not have accounted for all of the 2lb gain, though. Just eaten a bar of oreo chocolate because I am so annoyed! Blush
Line is drawn and I am back on it as of now. I will have a better week and lose that pesky 2lb. Angry

calzone · 12/04/2017 00:59

I've had the implant for about 8 years but have it replaced every 3..... not sure what's happening now......

Carrot porridge is just cooked oats with water, add a grated carrot, raspberries, a vanilla yogurt and some sweetener.

It bulks up the oats and makes a huge bowl.
