Great nèws Sham. Fingers crossed it is just a lb gain.

I've hardly eaten anything today. Been so busy. On the plus side, finally got the mortgage sorted, been waiting for ages. Now just need for it to be processed and we are good to go! So nerve wracking.

Good news Sham Flowers

Thanks Basin

Well I had the Iceland Thai green curry which wasn't very nice but I didn't have to make it and I'm stuffed now, so result. Ending the day (hopefully) on 15 syns (damn that DS, not eating his cake at Costa Angry).

Shamoffour · 07/04/2017 19:28

Thanks guysSmile

Ooh lemony that's exciting, I am obsessed with houses and rightmove is my hobbyBlush I spend hours on there adding extensions and redecorating. I don't think I'm normal!
Oriana it's so bloomin hard when they do that. My 2.5 year old keeps saying "share mummy" as he tries to stuff sweets in my mouth. I don't really have the heart to say no that's why I'm fat

OrianaBanana · 07/04/2017 19:35

It's very sweet of them but we could really do without it! No wine for me tonight Sad

Groovee · 07/04/2017 19:44

Been out all day and I want fizzy juice!

Been good and had no cake!

Groovee · 07/04/2017 19:44

Great news Sham and Lemony

FaithAgain · 07/04/2017 20:49

Good work Groovee.

I'm so pleased it's good news sham Smile

Lemony we're in the process of buying a house. We're in that offer accepted, wait for solicitors to faff back and forth bit. Why does it take so long?! Half our stuff is boxed up at the back of one room....just want a date!

I've been fairly restrained today. Went to a kid's party and avoided food. Had a pizza when I got home (from the party) but I've only had half...probably over syns but could have been loads worse!

ALemonyPea · 07/04/2017 20:58

We are doing a right to buy (not very popular amongst MNers), so luckily we don't need to move, but the delay has been with the council. We want loads done, and had thought we could borrow an additional amount, but turns out we can't borrow as much, we were told a third, but now it's a fifth, miscommunication or rule changes, something like that, so now trying to cut costs with my beautiful kitchen. It's fine though, we can still get most stuff done, not all of it, but we can do things in a few years, or justbsave and do it.

Do I really need a self cleaning oven?

Hi everyone,

Thanks for all the lovely comments about my 4 stone award. I still can't quite believe it. Been away for a week so missed class this week. I've been completely and ridiculously off plan so as of tomorrow morning, I'm strictly on plan with low (preferably no) syns and I'm aiming to get to the gym every day until weigh in on Thursday. Pleased I have a week to get back on it and claw it back. I know I've put weight on because I can feel it in my clothes. I'm actually looking forward to eating healthily again to be honest but dreading the gym because I think it's going to be painful...

Groovee · 07/04/2017 21:50

Have I told you guys that I have signed up to Burlesque classes? I start on Tuesday! Shock

calzone · 07/04/2017 23:02

I'm still here 🙂🙂

Weight loss is slow this time round but I'm slogging away.

So.....I'm currently 11stone 9lb and have a target of 10 stone 7. I've only lost 7.5lb since 1January.

Very frustrating.

B.....2 porky lights (1)
Mushrooms
Eggs
Beans

L.....all Bran, yoghurt

D.....cauliflower pizza. Was delicious.
Fruit sundae with 2 syns of cream

BasinHaircut · 08/04/2017 07:05

Oh there you are calzone! Was wondering where you'd got to. Well done for getting back on it. Have you lowered your target?

Had my cheat meal last night and it has made me determined to stay on plan till weigh in on Monday.

So I've ruined the 100% on plan but hopefully it will help me stay on plan IYSWIM. I think I'm going to change my target to 11st, instead of 10st 10lbs. I'm not sure I'll get that low and I'm fairly happy with my current weight which is 11st 2.5lbs.

Frouby · 08/04/2017 07:57

Calzone you are doing better than me. I am a similar weight too. Wonder if it just gets sticky at that?

Was off plan yesterday but only slightly over on mfp. Will be off today as out later for a pub meal. Back on it tomorrow though.

Lemony I had a man in to clean my oven before Christmas. Was the best £50 I have ever spent. It looked brand new when he had done. I give it a wipe around when I can't see through the door but will definitely have him back this year too.

Looks like it's going to be a lovely day today!

ALemonyPea · 08/04/2017 08:09

Calzone! Glad you're still doing it. How frustrating with the slow loss, mine has been the same since October, slow going. You're doing well though, don't give up.

Well done losers. I'm struggling with motivation this week. I'm on plan but I'm starting to feel a bit down about it all. Feel like I wish I could just not care about my weight and just eat what I want and get on with it but I know I can't do that either!

Really need a loss this week tbh or I'll be really disappointed. I wanted my 2.5 stone before holiday, but with 3lb to go and only 2 weeks it's not looking likely.

FizzySmile · 08/04/2017 09:58

Morning folks!
2lbs off for me this morning, which I'm pleased about, bringing my total loss in 9 weeks to 1 stone & 9lbs. I seem to have settled into a pattern of losing 2lbs at recent WIs, which is slower than I'd like if I'm honest, particularly when I've been eating so carefully. But it's a good steady, sustainable loss. I have been sticking closely to plan, and keeping syns within the daily limit.

Hoping this means I'm on track for an overall 2 stone loss within the 12 week online member period I signed up to. I had given myself this initial goal so it would be a great boost. Still miles from target though so I'll be signing up again for sure.
Happy weekend to all, onwards and downwards Losers! Smile

Groovester · 08/04/2017 10:51

Gym done this morning. Was not as bad as I'd anticipated. Apple for breakfast as nothing in the house. About to go grocery shopping now to stock up after being away. I'm starving!

BasinHaircut · 08/04/2017 12:20

I also exercised this morning. Did a Joe Wickes thing and it felt OK doing it but can already feel my muscles hating me for it.

I did a class on weds which I thought was a bit pants but my God my glutes are in bits from it! Must have been more effective than I thought!

Groovee · 08/04/2017 13:19

@OwlinaTree you can do this! I always find planning is the key. Plenty speed too will help.

Am sat outside having a subway Diet Pepsi in the sunshine.

Shamoffour · 08/04/2017 15:31

Back on plan today

B-raspberries, strawberries, mango, ff Greek yogurt, walnuts and agave nectar.(1)
L-asparagus, mushroom and ham omelette
D-Chicken thighs roasted with onions, potatoes and lots of Italian herbs and asparagus.

Has anyone tried the claudi and Finn Greek yogurt strawberry lollies? 2.5syns each nice and creamy.

PositiveAttitude · 08/04/2017 16:35

Yesterday I had the most majorly wonderful eye-opening revelation since I started SW in June last year. I believe there was a conspiracy to keep this information from me, but ha ha I have found it!!! I have discovered that I can make syn free, luscious mashed potato!!! Potato mashed with egg mixed in. How did I not know this before??????? It is so creamy and lovely and no syns!! I will now be having mash with everything!

Groovee · 08/04/2017 17:33

Lol PA

Sham those sound good. Where did you buy them?

Found my Fitbit and it wouldn't work. Contacted the helpline and they are sending me a new one.

latedecember1963 · 08/04/2017 17:33

Has anyone watched the feature on the SW website where the trainer called Lynn shows what she has on her fridge? I've got the Mikado stick biscuits to make the strawberry kebabs. 1/2 syn per Mikado stick and the strawberries are free. DH is wrestling with assembling a new lawnmower and becoming very irate so I'm keeping out of his way. He hates anything practical and always decides anything mechanical is conspiring against him so the whole thing becomes a self- fulfilling prophesy. I'm hoping the weather holds so I can tackle the garden tomorrow. Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

OwlinaTree · 08/04/2017 18:03

Thanks grooveeFlowers

ALemonyPea · 08/04/2017 18:39

3lb in two weeks is doable Owlina, don't give up, you can do it.

This lovely weather certainly helps me to stay on plan as Im too busy outside to sit and wonder what I can eat.

I watched the video Late, i gave up half way when she said "and another thing" the 50th time. I like the idea of mikado and strawberries. Might make them for eater weekend for my pudding when everyone else is having lemon curd trifle and italian chocolate cake
