Great news em!

Groovee · 08/03/2017 16:49

Basin that is crap for you Flowers

Em so happy for you x

BasinHaircut · 08/03/2017 17:46

Yay em that's cheered me right up. I'm so pleased for you. Tonight eat all of the food and enjoy it.

Today I delved into the office biscuit tin for the first time since 1st Jan. Shortbread finger that was a bit stale and not buttery enough and so not worth it. AND someone brought jelly babies to a meeting and I had 4! and one mini egg

Haven't had any other syns today but need some for feta in my dinner later so hoping I've got a few left. Might go over syns and chuck some chorizo in too but let's see how I feel when I finally get home and check how many I've used already today.

ClashCityRocker · 08/03/2017 18:12

What a relief em have been thinking of you all day.

Hope it gets resolved basin it's absolutely shit. Happened to me once but nobody could agree what I should have been paid so they just wrote it off. If the SW curries are decent, I will give them a bash then next time I think.

I've not been feeling like cooking all week for some unknown reason so have had some quite random teas. None have been 'bad' but my third speed has been hit and miss. Must plan better for next week! Although to be fair I've got plenty in...

Trying to psyche myself up for tea tonight. Might just have an omelette and salad.

How many grams was the Easter egg par?

latedecember1963 · 08/03/2017 18:32

That's brilliant news, Em! Ofsted have been in work yesterday & today and when I've been tempted to feel down or frustrated by the contradictory messages they've been giving I've thought of you and reminded myself of what's really important in the grand scheme of things.
Lost the plot this week since STS on Mon. Not been really bad, but not as good as the previous 2 weeks. Have been to town and bought a holiday top that is too small at the moment in order to give me an incentive. From Debenhams, rather than my usual go-to of Matalan. Decided the extra cost would encourage me more!
Jacket spuds in the oven & homemade soup ready for when DH & DS2 walk through the door.

par05 · 08/03/2017 19:42

@clashcityrocker the egg shell was 100g i think and I had just under 1/2 shell can't be sure as had chucked the box! The kids had it on the weekend and this last bit was just what kids had left!! It was a small egg from tesco with one kit kat in it!

par05 · 08/03/2017 19:43

Didn't have the kit kat tho Blush

LavenderRains · 08/03/2017 19:52

Great news em Flowers

1.5lb loss for me. I've moved into the next stone bracket and loss to date is 3 stone 10
Soooo busy at work today, up until 4pm all I'd had was 2 weetabix!
Just had chicken and rice stir fry, a fruit salad and yogurt.
Gonna use my syns on chocolate tonight I think!!

MyPatronusIsABadger · 08/03/2017 20:05

Hi, can I join in please?

I've been going to my local Saturday morning SW for 5 weeks and have lost just over a stone so feeling really happy with that! However I'm still 4 St from a healthy BMI and 5st from my target so I know it'll slow down and I'll need to accept it!!

harderandharder2breathe · 08/03/2017 20:30

em that's great, really happy for you and your little bean!

BasinHaircut · 08/03/2017 20:37

Tomato, chorizo and feta spaghetti and broccoli. 5 syns. YUM.

Groovee · 08/03/2017 20:43

I'm so not well. Barely wanted to eat and drinking lots of fluids x

FaithAgain · 08/03/2017 20:48

1lb off tonight. Not sure how, I've had a rubbish week! However I have had the kick up the arse I needed today, found an old photo from a few weeks before I started. I do not want to go backwards so I'm starting again!!

Welcome MyPatronus. I've only ever looked a small targets as the full amount to target was overwhelming. Half a stone here, under a certain stone number there....that's what's kept me going.

ClashCityRocker · 08/03/2017 20:53

par dairy milk chocolate is coming out at 13 Syns for 49g, which is about half an egg. Not too bad, really.

basin that looks lush. I had frittata and salad tonight. Syns for salad cream as picked up the wrong bottle.

What's up groovee? hope you're on the mend soon.

Well done on your loss so far mypatronus

BasinHaircut · 08/03/2017 21:04

Have just blown syns on a piece of brownie I made earlier for work tomorrow.

I would have had a piece tomorrow anyway though so I'm calling it even Grin

ALemonyPea · 08/03/2017 21:08

Welcome Badger. My patronis is definitely a cake.

emwithme · 08/03/2017 21:15

My Patronus is a racoon. It's got to be, cute little trash bandit that will eat anything. Oh yes.

Or possibly that marsupial that broke into an Australian bakery and ate so much it couldn't leave and was found in the morning.

Or a dugong or manatee or similar.

Basically, I'm a tubby eating machine.

Shamoffour · 08/03/2017 22:00

My patronus is a caterpillar. The very fucking hungry caterpillar.Grin

I've order the beginners 30 day shred. I'm starting tomorrow, I'm scared I haven't got out of breath for a long long time apart from sexBlush

noodlezoodle · 08/03/2017 22:00

Great news Em, what a relief.

Frouby I know I'm too late for your dinner tonight but I absolutely love carbonara and I still make it quite often - if you use lean bacon and egg and parmesan (HEA) instead of cream it's SW friendly and I tend to bung in a load of veg as well - either mushrooms and red onion, leeks, or sprouts.

MissAgnesGrey · 08/03/2017 22:39

Can I join you please. Just been to my first SW meeting, have an interim target loss of a stone, but I need to lose at least double that.

calzone · 08/03/2017 22:46

I'm not doing very well. 😨😨

harverina · 09/03/2017 06:31

Great news Em!!

Well done to everyone who is losing and to those of you struggling you will get there.

The people who have lost quite a lot - do you have any tips for staying motivated? I often get to around the 13stone mark, which at my height, is only 1 stone away from my healthy bmi, and then I get so complacent that I blow it. In fact last time I did weight watchers it was around the 14 stone mark or just under that I stopped going. And it was because I felt great!

I don't want to fall into that trap this time.

I am on day 10 of no chocolate, cake and biscuits and it's been really great so far. I see a huge difference in my general appetite. Cant believe that sugar has played such a big part in me over eating/binging in the past.

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 09/03/2017 07:07

Massively pissed Off.

First week back in and stayed the same. I swear I stuck to everything - syns at the top end of allowance perhaps and a dodgy day Monday, but ffs.

Feel like packing in.

Frouby · 09/03/2017 07:11

Morning all

noodlezoodle how do you make your carbonara? Mine was a disaster. When you warm quark up in pasta it just goes to slightly cheese flavoured water Grin. I drained it off and nicked a bit of the real one in the end.

Calzone look how far you have come so far. Take a deep breathe and get back on it. Do we need to get the stick out?

Em am so glad things are ok. You must be very relieved.

Todays plan

B. Coffee
L. Salad
T. Pulled beef done in the slow cooker, veg and mash.

PositiveAttitude · 09/03/2017 07:36

Really pleased for you Em. Hope it all continues to go well.

Lavender well done you are catching me up fast!!

Well done all you losers.

Harverina I have lost 4 stone 2.5lb over the past 8 months. I don't know how I have stayed motivated to be honest. In the past I have always done as you say, just got complacent as soon as I got to a point when things were going well. I have never lost this much weight before, but as soon as people normally start commenting and saying I am looking good etc I have self sabotaged and gone totally in the opposite direction. Blush I am determined not to go off track this time. I know I have at least another 3 stone to lose and it could take me a long time to get there, but I am determined to get there.

A massive MASSIVE NSV for me yesterday. For those of you who have not been really really hugely overweight I know you wont understand this, so just scroll on down. Grin Yesterday I was wandering aimlessly killing time in town before a meeting. I was in a "normal" clothes shop when I saw a pair of jeans in the sale. Biggest size was an 18 and I just thought I would try them on and see how far apart the zip was. My idea was that if they were not too small I could buy them and have them as my next goal, but bugger me, THEY FITTED and even better, they are not tight and even though I say so myself I am very pleased with how I look in them. So I, obviously, had to buy a slinky top to go with them! I showed DD1 when I got home and she was really encouraging and said that if I wear them there is no way people wont comment on how far I had come. It was 10 months ago that I bought a whole new summer wardrobe - all size 28! To say I am chuffed is the biggest understatement of the century! Grin Grin Grin Grin
I understand that most people are trying to get out of a size 18, but for me this is a dream.
