Oh Lemony that looks awesome

That roulade looks amazing I could eat the whole thing although quark is impossible to get around here. Was going to attempt the chocolate brownies but forgot the eggs gggrrrr

See, that roulade looks lush but the recipe is pretty much the same ingredients as I use to make a SW quiche bar the essence and sweetener so I can only imagine the texture is like a rolled up omelette? Is it eggy?

Back from weigh in, a maintain for me this week which I'm happy enough with seeing as I had pancakes and a takeaway last week, and pretty sure I went over on syns on a couple of other days too. To wrap up, I was slack last week.

Going for a good week until Sunday which is my birthday. Sunday and Monday I'm off plan, and I've booked next week as holiday.

The following week I'm also off plan Friday and Saturday for various other celebrations so if I can maintain between now and the 20th I'll be well happy.

Just waiting for DH to finish putting DS to bed and then I'll get the dinner on.

Well done Binary.

No it's not eggy at all, it's quite fluffy. I've eaten half of it Blush. Not entirely sure I can go to group tomorrow now as two dc off school sick, and nobody to watch them just yet.

Well done binary. I might try that roulade. Just had a harvester, think I chose well, chicken breast with peppers and salsa, jacket spud and loads of salad. I'm full but not stuffed. I'm really hoping for a loss this week after two weeks of sts. I've really tried hard so I'll be gutted if there's no loss this week. I need 1/2 lb off to get to officially not overweight, but I would really like a couple of lb of this week. Probably a bit optimistic!

I'm going to harverster tomorrow owlina- hoping to choose wisely! Put on a lb today and felt like a total loser Sad
So I'm sat with a bottle glass of rose and an Indian takeaway menu. I need to do this I just can't seem to get my fat head round it!

Hi, I hope someone can help me. I returned to SW and will complete my 4th weigh in tomorrow evening. I lost 2.5 the first week, a pound the second week and stayed the same last week, which was expected, so that's 3.5 to date. Although I don't have lots to lose, about a stone and a half, i still need to work at it! To date I eat very few carbs apart from porridge/weetabix or all bran for breakfast. I haven't really been eating many carbs since Chrismas as my husband has been on a bit of a health kick, and I don't miss them hugely. My question is, if I start from this Wednesday, day 1 of week 5, incorporating carbs, will I lose weight, or will I put on weight as I haven't been eating them for so long.
I hope that isn't confusing and that someone can advise me. Just wondering if I'm limiting myself too much and therefore maybe finding it a bit more difficult to shift it a bit quicker. Thanks everyone.

You could perhaps do SP days if you're not having carbs, you get 2 b choices that way.

I'm not sure on the introducing carbs thing though, you've not had big losses, so it can't really hurt to try.

What's your normal food day like?

I've totally sabotaged myself today. Was good all week up until yesterday when I had about 25 syns and even more than that today Sad. Will definitely have a gain tomorrow now, so annoyed with myself.

mum how many syns have you had all week?

Report
00100001 · 07/03/2017 07:08

I stick to 5-15 a day on the whole (as this helps me know what I should be eating day to day) but also consider my weeks total (105) if I've gone over here or there :)

Hi ALemonyPea, I have mostly porridge with water no skimmed milk for breakfast, alternatively All bran with skimmed milk or weetabix, I then have fruit for mid morning snack, usually melon, raspberries and grapefruit, lunch is usually left over dinner, e.g. Baked tortilla with salad, quote chilli which has veg in it or chicken salad. Evening dinner is then a mix of things from the above to slag Bol or roast chicken, no potatoes. I do like a glass of wine! I think I need to find an alternative. I don't have a glass every night, but usually a Friday, and Saturday evening. Just wondering if I was eating pasta, rice and jacket potato if it would help or hinder. Thank you

I've been going off track these last few days with treats here and there (it's been a shitty week!).

I really need to pull it back now (now that I've eaten my scone with jam and cream) if I've to have a chance of losing on Friday... Blush

Made banana pancakes. 2.5 syns over all. Wasn't that great with the texture. But I enjoyed. Got weigh in and taster tonight but work first.

Well done losers. 1.5lb off for me, I'm fine with that.

Grin at slag bol.

Will, you may be consuming too many syns, are you syning everything? Replacing not adding a third of your food with speed foods? Torilla could be high syn without you realising.

Taster day today, the strawberry roulade went down well. I didn't even get a bit.

Afternoon all

Well done losers especially Lemony. Bet you are pleased with that!

Have had a NSV too today. Gave a load of hoodies to dd a while ago as they were too tight for me. Scratting around for one this morning and put 1 I had given to her on and it fit! Whoop whoop.

Todays plan

B. Coffee
L. Hm chicken, mushroom and veg soup. Was lovely but I burnt my had blending it. Ouch.
T. Seafood salad with new potatoes.

HeB will be either hifi or museli, a choice in coffee. Should be a low syn day which is good as it is wi tomorrow and if I havenlost or gained the same 1/2 lb again I am going to have a meltdown.

Hi All, just signed up online. What is an SP day?

Report
Losingthewill8 · 07/03/2017 16:29

'Slag' Bol, dear oh dear!!! 😯

Yes, I think I need to weigh and measure everything this week that can be syned, and see how I go.

Report
Groovee · 07/03/2017 16:42

Welcome Lois. SP day is a speed and protein only day. No yoghurt or non speed fruit and veg. But you get 2 HEB's.
