lemony WI is Monday for me which is a right pain if I have anything going on at the weekend! I think I'm leaning towards going anyway and living with he gains. It might give me a kick up the arse and I think I need it at the moment!

BasinHaircut · 04/03/2017 20:39

pumpkin you are doing great. Slowly but surely is the way to go. You are not only losing weight but learning new habits. Calorie counting on its own doesn't do thatz

BasinHaircut · 04/03/2017 20:39

Thatz? That Grin

pumpkinsweetie · 04/03/2017 20:44

Thanks BasinHaircut Smile

Hi everyone, I have done SW quite a few times in the past and am currently very much OFF the wagon (have never been this heavy Shock) and thinking of getting back on. I am also ttc #1 at the moment, and was just wondering, has anybody ever been pregnant with a bmi of 35 or more? Feeling worried about my chances.

madein1995 · 04/03/2017 21:42

I've really enjoyed the spicy sausage and chorizo slimming world soup in Iceland, it's really nice Smile
Lost 2.5lb this week (amazing really as I've not been 'good' by any stretch of the imagination) and have got my half a stone award!
Been ok today, well for a saturday at least -
Breakfast - 1 hifi bar (half hexb)
Lunch - Chicken, broccoli, cauli, swede mash, few roasties, yorkshires (5), gravy (2), stuffing (4)
Doughnut (9) syns
An apple
Packet pasta (0.5 syns) made with milk (hexa)
Wine - 5 syns
Apple and tsp nutella (1.5 syns)
Hifi bar (other half of hexb)
27 syns but will make up for it tomorrow (planning on just using 3 syns tomorrow so I'm on a even keel, so to speak)

Morning everyone!

I have weigh in tomorrow. Just wondering what everyone tends to eat the day before weigh in? Thanks

ChessieFL · 05/03/2017 07:41

The day before weigh in I try and avoid any heavy meals, particularly in the evening (I weigh in the morning). I don't worry about it too much though. I don't eat or drink anything in the morning before I weigh.

BasinHaircut · 05/03/2017 08:32

I weigh Monday evening. Sunday I have whatever and Monday I obviously eat breakfast and lunch and try to eat normally. I dont have anything to eat or drink after 4 apart from sips of water if I'm thirsty. I weigh at 5:30.

I don't think you should have to do anything special leading up to weigh in. As long as you are consistent (I.e. Have the same number of meals that day) and don't go mad and have a massive lunch if previous weeks you would only have a soup, then weighing at the same time each week is always going to be the most important thing.

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 05/03/2017 08:44

Have rejoined and realised that I am heavier than I have ever been.

Good week so far - weigh in is Wednesday. But away for work tomorrow so will be hard to follow plan.

WaitrosePigeon · 05/03/2017 09:30

Thanks basin. I'm going to eat normally today but no syns. Luckily weigh in is 9.30 tomorrow so I don't have to eat anything before. Hope to have a massive dump in the morning Grin

ClashCityRocker · 05/03/2017 10:18

I wi at 7pm so have a normal breakfast and lunch.

At the start I was having lighter meals on Wednesday night (wi on Thursday) but decided that was a bit daft - and counter productive as it meant I wouldn't poop before wi (tmi sorry!).

I do get obsessive over toilet habits prior to wi!

basin for me, personally, I would need to go to wi even if I knew it would be a gain. I think it would help me reign it in a bit whereas if I knew it would be two weeks I'd probably go absolutely mad.

Plus I'm a creature of routine and would worry that I'd struggle to get back into it.

Campfire stew in the slow cooker! Group rave about it, so I'm going to see what all the fuss is about.

Will probably have some poached eggs and mushrooms for breakfast/brunch.

Need to blitz my kitchen and bathroom today. I refuse to count it as body magic But at least it's more active. Did go the gym yesterday though. They've got a new cross trainer and it's insane and wouldn't let me stop once I started. I ended up having to throw myself off it backwards!

Frouby · 05/03/2017 10:26

Hello all

Been awol for last few days and off plan. Few reasons. Being ill all last week and hardly eating anything and only losing 1/2 pissed me off. New fridge meant we ate strange things towards the end of the week which weren't really bad but not exactly on plan. And yesterday we went to TGI Fridays and I had what I wanted. Which was sesame chicken to start and a burger and chips for my main. And a Strawberry tart last night for supper.

New fridge is ace but still bare so off to do some shopping later. Am going back on plan and hope to see either a sts or a small loss on Wednesday.

Need to up the amount I am eating particularly speed. And am starting working the ponies again tomorrow so hoping that has an effect.

I also need to book some riding lessons for me to get me match fit to get on babypony. My arse is aching just thinking about it.

BasinHaircut · 05/03/2017 11:56

Having a cooking day here. Have made for the freezer:

Chick pea and sweet potato curry (2syns a serving, 6 servings)
Chicken madras (free, 6 servings)
Bolognaise (free, 6 servings)
SW quiches for lunch today and tomorrow for me and DH (3.5 syns a serving).

Still got dinner for today to sort out but will leave that till later. DH is going to take DS out for an hour or so so I can chill this afternoon.

ALemonyPea · 05/03/2017 12:10

I used to do an SP day the day before WI but didn't have any effect on my weight loss so just eat like normal now.

So bloated today after yesterday's cake, not good. I think I have a slight wheat intolerance, bread does the same to me. Stomach bloats right up.

I've also overdone it the last few days and in pain today so need to take it easy.

At my mams for dinner today and she does massive portions. No pudding for me though.

Looking forward to my big bugger buffet tonight, can't wait!Grin
Trying to keep food to a minimum ready for tonight but I'm so hungry today!

B; boiled egg and toast (hexB)

D; (had it already!!) Fruit salad, banana, grapes, satsuma topped with yogurt. Cup of tea.

Will no doubt have some mango before I go out later.
Happy Sunday everyone🍉🍇

Groovee · 05/03/2017 14:09

I just eat the day before weigh in.

Survived my sleepover with Nando's and they provided a wholemeal bread for my bacon roll.

Have slept 3 hours and am floored haha.

Put the chicken in the slow cooker and when I woke up realised I hadn't added curry sauce or veg!

dancemom · 05/03/2017 14:21

Lost 1 lb today which I'm delighted at as I was off plan for a few days!

Back on it 100% this week, had beans on toast and egg on toast for brunch (HeaB) with pickled onions and some fruit.

Dinner will be chicken stir fry

Really enjoying bacon egg and pineapple lately! Become a firm favourite along with wrap pizza and sw chips!

ClashCityRocker · 05/03/2017 15:19

Uh oh the campfire stew is smelling nice but tasting a bit...ugh. I think I've overdone the paprika and it's a bit salty despite having the gammon soaking.

I've chucked in some potatoes which I hope will absorb whatever it is that's causing the after taste.

I'm beginning to suspect the members of my group have no sense of taste....

Groovee · 05/03/2017 15:22

I struggle slow cooking gammon. It just doesn't work for us.
