No loss & no gain this week - exactly the same as last.

Ive brought Slimming World ready meals for all this week in the hope it'll work & bring me back a loss.

Tonight is lamb curry with s/w masala sauce

Slow cooker chicken curry: two small onions roughly chopped, two peppers deserved and roughly chopped, four chicken breasts chunky diced, 450g of tiny baby spuds, a tablespoon of decent curry powder (I'm currently on the Tesco finest one, it's lovely), can of quality chopped tomatoes chucked over the top. Stir and set to cook on low for eight hours. I tend to have it as is but the kids like theirs with naan.

Does anyone here actually like Quark?!

I tried using it 3 times now & everytime dinners gone in the bin.

The worst i attempted were dauphinoise potatoes. By far the worst thing thats ever crossed my lips..ever.

Hi, new to SW as from Saturday.

That's a shame about the quark overit. I got a free kindle book yesterday of quark recipes, sounds really versatile. I had it years ago but can't remember what I did with it. Going to give it a go, was it the taste or texture or both?

Thanks for the ideas procrastinator made me want curry so have made chicken madras.

Quark is not for me at all I don't like cheese and even though it's not particularly cheesy it's not some thing I would like to put in my mouth!

I read a thread on here ages ago where someone was asking what kinds of things people made for tasting evenings at group, someone posted-cakes made of quark and despair! made me chuckle Grin

Lol at cakes made of quark and despair! I do use it instead of yogurt on SP days, with a HeB of grapenuts and 1tsp st dalfour fruit spread 0.5 syn and quite like it and is much more filling than with yogurt or milk . Interested to know how the cauli pizza is PisghettiGrin.

Curry made, but I'm in so much pain from my headache that dinner has been a handful of painkillers and a coffee. I think an early bed is in order.

Hope you feel better soon procrastinator

The cauliflower pizza was delicious! I forgot to spray the baking paper and it got a bit stuck and fell apart when I tried to flip it. You couldn't notice it too much once the toppings were on but I did lose a fair bit of the base. I need to look out for a silicone mat or something - that would stop it sticking. I'd definitely do it again. Even my 14 yet old who is always thinking up new ways of avoiding veg tried a bit and said it was lush!

I quite like quark as a dessert with an options hot chocolate sachet and a bit of sweetener. I am a bit of a cheese fiend though.

Thanks for the well wishes. I'm about to lever my eldest off the PC so I can go to bed.

As an aside, does anybody else get irrationally angry when they put the stickers on your book and they're all irregularly spaced and wonky?
