Pisghetti · 20/10/2015 09:33

Morning,

So, so tired which is a danger area for me. My daughter isn't very well so sleep is worse than usual.

B: 2x small wm bread HeB, soft cheese and slide cheddar HeA, Quorn fillets
L: meeting friends - will try and get a baked potato with beans
D: at mum's - possible pasta and a vegetable sauce
S: hoping not to snack - could do with banking some Syns to repay an earlier overspend Blush I'm out of the house all day which will help.

Purplerain067 · 20/10/2015 09:48

Calzone- I have done slimmingworld once before but I didn't do very well as I never knew what to make for lunch as I was so used to having sandwiches! This time round I plan to use my healthy extras for breakfast. This morning I've had 30g weetabix minis with skimmed milk and a vanilla muller light with raspberries, is this ok? I've never been a big breakfast fan!!

Well done on the weight loss, that's amazing!! Smile

CiderwithBuda · 20/10/2015 10:08

Hello. I'm still here but have been a bit crap.

Weighed in a day early last week and stayed the same which I was disappointed with as thought I had had a good week. Went up to London on Wednesday and had my planned day off with lots of wine. Plan was to get back on track on Thursday. Ended up stopping at macdonalds on drive back home though. Blush. And I feel like I've been rubbish since. Last few days haven't been too bad but haven't been resisting the wine at night. Or the cheese and biscuits.

Trying for a really good day today. Weigh in tomorrow.

B today - porridge with almond milk, blueberries, flaked almonds and pumpkin seeds
L - home made veg soup with barley
D - lemon and pepper chicken escalopes with something!

S - will be fruit and yoghurt

Two weeks ago I was 1.5lb away from my first stone. And I was determined to lose it! Messed that up! Angry Sad Blush

Oh well. Nobody to blame but myself.

blondiep14 · 20/10/2015 10:41

Only half offSad which is disappointing after being so good all week other than Sunday.
Sunday messed it up I guess. Damn it!

Keep at it I guess.

Buttwing · 20/10/2015 12:54

Pisghetti it's so so hard when you're tired isn't it? Dc4 is cutting his molars and hasn't slept properly for a week now. It makes me want tea and biscuits and anything sweet!

My week has been mixed I had a bad weekend but I've been good yesterday and today I would be happy with a maintain but I wouldn't be surprised with a gain when I get weighed tomorrow night.
It's dd2s birthday today have a huge minion cake, must not eat, must not eat.....Grin

WonderOnTheUp · 20/10/2015 17:23

Hello! Finally feeling better, the cold messed with my healthy eating though, had about 3 toasted tea cakes with butter, 4 rich tea biscuits and a whole large bag or the giant chocolate buttons! Blush

Was back on plan yesterday and today, I've eaten the same things yesterday and today:

B: porridge, Apple, tea
L: leek and potato soup
S: banana, plum, pear and yoghurt
T: veggie chilli and rice

Syns: 2 for low fat sour cream, 3.5 for cheese and 2.5 for milk in tea

Have been drinking lots of water too but not expecting to lose this week.

OrianaBanana · 20/10/2015 19:38

I've been mixed this week, so I'm expecting a maintain (if I'm lucky) or a gain, after 0.5 on last week.

A tricky week to come as well so I'm not feeling great about this.

FannyFanakapan · 20/10/2015 19:57

Purplerain067 · 21/10/2015 19:12

Hi again!

First day at uni on slimming world plan and I think I've done well...

B- 30g weetabix minis, milk, muller light and an apple

L- chicken salad with homemade wedges

D- tomato and basil chicken pasta win roasted veg

S- a freddo (5), crispy onions (3) and mayo (1)

Happy with that, now to watch the soaps with no cravings!!

FannyFanakapan · 21/10/2015 19:33

forgive me Calzone, for I have synned. A lot.

Ive just had a "oh fuck it" day - its been a stressful week with no end in sight, and I just fell into a pot of nutella and a packet of biscuits...and then, I may as well be hung for a sheep as for a lamb, so did not stop the rest of the day.

After 10 months on plan, I think I just needed a day off and a major sugar boost - PMT possibly.

Not helped by me not being able to go weigh in on Friday, as LO has a hospital appointment.

Meh. Today I indulged, tomorrow I shall get back on track.

WonderOnTheUp · 21/10/2015 20:05

Fanny, I too have synned today, lots. I overslept and didn't have time for breakfast so had toast with butter instead. Then a meeting didn't go well so half a pack of biscuits later I thought I'm already stuffed for the day so had fish and chips for tea!! Feel quite sick now and I weigh tomorrow - oops! I will be angelic next week and have a bumper loss (I hope!)

FannyFanakapan · 21/10/2015 20:38

its reassuring to know I'm not alone. I do worry about how I will maintain after I get to goal, if I can spectacularly fall from plan like today. Sigh.

calzone · 22/10/2015 01:40

((Collects big stick from corner of the room.....))

ATTENTION You LOT!!

We are here for a reason. We want to lose weight. I don't mind a blowout as long as you get back on track.....don't let one thing lead to another.

I lost 4lb this week! & got sotw!!!!!!

OP posts:
WonderOnTheUp · 22/10/2015 06:37

Thanks for the stick waving calzone! Well done on being sotw too! Star

Despite a bad week I've fortunately lost 1/2 lb. back on track with a vengeance today!

blondiep14 · 22/10/2015 07:07

Have been 100% and under syns this week again (apart from Sunday!) so really hoping for a better loss next Tuesday. Not out this weekend so will be able to stay on track.

overitalready · 22/10/2015 07:53

Everyone needs a blow out now and again she says avoiding calzones whipping stick

Congrats calzone btw..well done

CiderwithBuda · 22/10/2015 09:56

Well done Calzone! That's a great loss.

I stayed the same. Which was a relief after th week I had. And then went for it big time last night. Wine. Cheese and biscuits. Crisps. Mikado choc sticks. Blush Blush Blush

Obv need a good wallop of the big stick.

Apparently someone at another group that the leader at mine does lost 11.5 pounds this week! Is that even possible????

Have you all filled in your SW gift tag? I've put mine on the wine rack! Aiming to lose a stone between now and Xmas. Need to really stick to it. Am so sick of the lose/gain cycle which is nobody's fault but mine.

I'm usually fine during the day but go mad in the evening with wine. Manage to not drink if DH is away but struggle when he is here as its our routine to have a drink while we cook and have dinner. So I'm switching back to weak white wine sodas made with low alcohol wine.

Also going to start the Body Magic properly. Have done nothing for so long. Starting this morning with taking dog for a walk which I normally don't do.

OrianaBanana · 22/10/2015 11:10

Congratulations, a great loss! I maintained which I'm happy with. 2 SP days now:

B 2 weetabix and semi milk (HEA and HEB1)
L salad with some sort of lean protein
D chicken stir fry with lots of beansprouts etc.

S 2 hifi light (HEB2) - I like the toffee apple ones but they're too sweet for me; satsumas; fruit; smoked salmon; gherkins
Grin

Buttwing · 22/10/2015 12:50

Hi all I lost half a pound last night which I was ok-ish with id had a bit of a mixed week so it was fair I suppose.
Calzone wow great loss I need a big wallop with your stick!!
Cider mine is on the fridge door handle and is the same as yours to lose a stone by Xmas. I'm sure you know already but watch out for water chestnuts in stirfrys they are not sp. It's not the end of the world but I didn't know and was trying to sp 100% and I was really annoyed. Crunchy little buggers!!!

Buttwing · 22/10/2015 12:51

Sorry stirfry thing was aimed at oriana not cider. Blaming it on ridiculous sleep deprivation!

OrianaBanana · 22/10/2015 14:45

Ah thanks buttwing I probably would have put some in otherwise!

I actually unthinkingly made risotto on my last SP day, d'oh!! Blush

OrianaBanana · 22/10/2015 14:50

Cider mine is on my snack cupboard - I went for 8lbs by Christmas which gets me to a nice round number (10 stone 10lbs) but more importantly, I wrote down that I'd like to be a size 12. I have a pair of size 12 walking trousers I currently can't get into but can I test myself against them then!
