I have found resisting very hard today. The kids have some digestive biscuits....Oh how I wanted one. But at 3 syns a bikkie, I resisted. Isnt it funny how such simple foods can be so tempting. Ignored the fudge in the fridge and the chocolate cakes in the cupboard. But tempt me with a digestive bikkie....

Buttwing · 14/10/2015 21:15

Squeeee I lost 2lbs and got my 3 and half stone award Grin

How many syns are in Cadbury snack? I love those.

FannyFanakapan · 14/10/2015 22:09

well done Buttwing!

RavioliOnToast · 15/10/2015 05:33

Hi!

May I join? Grin

I went to slimming world about 6 months ago, lost 7lbs, then catapulted off the wagon. I've now gained 15lbs leaving me at a staggering 16st 1lb.

I rejoined a genius last night, then went out for a meal Hmm but that'll be my cheat for the week. Today's plan is -
B - 2x weetabix, chopped apple
L - speed soup! (well mostly speed anyway Grin)
D - either curry and rice or slow cooker Spanish potatoes.

I've made a slimming world plate aswell to assist with portion sizes.

My motivation this time around is the 18-30 holiday I've booked for next September, I refuse to not enjoy it because I'm conscious of my weight!

WonderOnTheUp · 15/10/2015 06:32

Weigh in day for me and after staying the same last week (which maybe was due to my period?) I've lost 1.5 lb Grin

This has motivated me to continue!

TwoTonTessie · 15/10/2015 07:04

Well done wonder
Hello ravioli

OrianaBanana · 15/10/2015 07:08

Hello ravioli!

I put on 0.5lbs but considering the weekend I'm happy with that.

On the wagon for a good loss this week as I'm 3lbs from my 1.5 stone award. I've just had bad news about my Dad though so it could go either way. Having control in one area of my life always feels good, if I can do it.

Well done wonder!

Have good weeks everyone x

How nice to see lots of lovely newbies here - welcome! - I hope you all stick at it, and if you don't, come back here and we'll help. Calzone is very good at chivvying us all along!

If you are new, I recommend "SYNS ALLOWED" facebook group, as they have lots and lots of files on the syn value of loads of items from different supermarkets - especially the more ready made stuff.

MumsSlimmingWorldJournal · 15/10/2015 14:45

ProcrastinatorGeneral · 16/10/2015 19:16

Only one off today, but better than nothing. Been a rough week of feeling ill and not cooking properly.

Right. Got some lovely meals planned. We've got gammon, slow cooker curry, bolognese and chicken and wedges to look forward too. The curry especially as this weather just cries out for stuff you can whack in a bowl and snarf while sat on the sofa watching a trashy film:o

WonderOnTheUp · 16/10/2015 20:30

Busy day here so didn't get round to preparing lunch...ended up in greggs but luckily the queue was huge so gave me time to change my mind! Feel like a cold is coming on today.

B: porridge, Apple, tea
L: nothing
T: ham, poached eggs and syn free chips with ketchup (2 syns)
S: banana, Apple and plum

I've also been drinking hot water with honey and lemon to try and keep this cold away, would there be syns in this do you think?
