GingerFoxInAT0phat · 09/10/2015 19:34

Well done on the 4st stone Fanny! (That sounds so weird lol)

And 7lb off in a week? That's amazing Procrastination!

I've had:
B - baked oats with raspberries. Chopped banana in muller light.

D- left over portion of lasts nights fish pie.

T- Shredded bbq chicken, chips and salad.

Dh said the chips are the best he's ever had.

ProcrastinatorGeneral · 09/10/2015 20:19

It's been a shitter of a stressy week Ginger so it was either going to be an epic loss or an epic gain!:o I'm slightly impressed myself as I'm on a period too. I'm imagining the loss of water will help next week. If I don't offset it with cake!:o

I'm cooking gammon this weekend. I usually do it with sugar but I'm going to do it with coke instead. I've never used diet, does it still offset the saltiness of the meat like using full sugar does? If not in just going to boil it then dry it off in the oven with a mustard glaze instead.

TwoTonTessie · 09/10/2015 20:29

Evening all Smile I have lurked here for ages. There's been some great losses. I joined SW about 12 weeks ago and am really enjoying it so far. It's nice getting lots of compliments when people start noticing the difference.

FannyFanakapan · 10/10/2015 07:50

DH took me out for a celebratory meal last night - he actually mentioned that he could see id lost wweight on my bum and legs. Well how kind of you to notice darling....

Anyway, Thai food is not really syn free. Nor is wine. SO I shall be drawing a line and starting again today fresh!

overitalready · 10/10/2015 10:01

Well done Fanny!!

Welcome Two also

Todays plan :

B - Coffee - a lot of

L - mugshot, banana, apple, plum, pear & a babble

D - Fake nandos chicken, with rice & salad

Craving Dominios & i don't even like it

GingerFoxInAT0phat · 10/10/2015 13:07

Procrastinator, hopefully a big loss next week too then, when you finish your period!

Today I've had
B - bacon and mushroom sandwich in a small wholemeal roll.
D - muller light with a chopped banana
T - will be making a chilli, can't decide to have it with jacket potato or rice.
Dh is asking for them 'nice chips' again Grin

GingerFoxInAT0phat · 10/10/2015 13:08

Overit, don't think I've ever actually enjoyed dominos but it didn't stop me ordering it! I had a dodgy stomach after the last one though and that has definitely put me off now!

FannyFanakapan · 10/10/2015 17:43

Im feeling a bit low - went to M&S to try on some new bras, as my boobs dont fit in what Im in now. Those full length all angle mirrors are not kind. I was feeling good about myself until I stepped in there. :( I can see my arse is very much smaller, and my legs, but my tum is huge and the fat on my back is still there.

Also, one of my weigh in buddies said she is now in size 16 trousers from a size 26, having lost 3.5 stone. Ive lost more and only dropped a dress size, and still in an 18. I dont seem to be losing on my tum, only my arse and legs. ANd boobs. And sadly, while my double chin has shrunk, its still there, and now a real turkey gizzard of loose flesh.

I feel awful about myself now, my self confidence is through the floor. Sad. Come and kick me up the (smaller sized) arse.

WonderOnTheUp · 10/10/2015 17:52

Well done to all those who have lost weight this week!

B: porridge with semi skimmed milk, tea
L: ham and egg salad with some reduced fat creme freche (3 syns)
T: veggie chilli and rice with 25g reduced fat cheese (4 syns) and a tablespoon on low fat sour cream (3 syns)
S: pears and banana and yoghurt.

Will use an extra 2 syns for milk in tea.

I think I was going wrong with the milk, now I've measured it I can see how little I can actually have without counting syns!

calzone · 10/10/2015 19:57

Sorry you feel low Fanny ????

But 4 stone is amazing! It will come off and you will go down a size.....hang on in there.

I was furious on Wednesday. Hopping mad.

Let me take you back to August......
Did my last weigh in before holidays and was down to 11st 7lb....lowest ever.
Came back from holiday and put on 6.5lbs. Was fine about it.

Following week was new consultant with new scales. Lost 1lb. It took me 4 weeks to lose the holiday weight and last week I got back down to 11st 7lbs.

EXCEPT APPARENTLY THE SCALES HAVE BEEN WRONG AND LAST WEEK THE SCALES SAID I HAD PUT ON 6.5lbs IN A WEEK!!!!

Her scales have been wrong before but she doesn't take responsibility for it. I was livid. I walked out. My opinion on it is .....'you only have one job.....' Which is to weigh me accurately. Otherwise why am I paying £5 a week? I can do it at home.

Don't get me wrong.....she is lovely and has put her heart into this and a lot of money but I am gutted that having stayed on plan, the scales read wrong again.

OP posts:
FannyFanakapan · 10/10/2015 20:16

Cal. thats shocking. I think you need to complain about this, because like you say, she has just one job.

calzone · 10/10/2015 22:07

Mmm, am thinking about it.

Just feel like I have wasted my money. I know that I am not 11.13lbs. I was sluggish when I got back from Cornwall and felt bloated and fat.

I don't feel like that at the moment. I am wearing size 12 clothes.

If it reads badly on Wednesday then I am finding a new group.

OP posts:
calzone · 10/10/2015 22:10

B.....coffee

L....chicken stir fry
Banana

D....turkey burger on flat mushroom, salad, roasted parsnip and bns.
Few curly fries

Syns.....red velvet cake.....was fab!!

Ff yoghurt

So last night was dinner at DH's business partner's house. Lasagne. Not a massive portion and I had plenty of salad but am still going to have to be super angelic now if I want to have a loss Tuesday Confused

TwoTonTessie · 11/10/2015 11:28

That's really bad about the scales calzone
I do sometimes think our scales are wrong but that may just be wishful thinking.
Fanny sorry you're feeling low at the minute. Try to focus on how well you've done if you can.

CiderwithBuda · 11/10/2015 11:37

Fanny - you have lost four stone! That's amazing. Im sorry you feel a bit rubbish about it though. Are you exercising? That will really tone you up.

Calzone - that is really shocking. We trust in those bloody scales. And as you say we pay for the privilege. If the scales are wrong what is the point?

I'm being really good as determined to get to my first stone off and I'm weighing in on Tuesday this week instead of Wednesday so have a day less.

Last night was my night off. DH cooked a lovely steak with chips onions and mushrooms. Had lots of wine. And cheese and biscuits. And bread. Feel completely hungover this morning!

tabulahrasa · 11/10/2015 15:32

"Also, one of my weigh in buddies said she is now in size 16 trousers from a size 26, having lost 3.5 stone."

I don't believe her, sorry, but I don't...

It's supposed to be about a stone for each clothes size - I find it more like a stone and a half.

I've lost 8, I was a 22/24 and I'm now a 12.

And no it doesn't all come off evenly which will affect trouser sizes, my stomach is still a bit bigger than the rest of me, but not as much as partway through losing weight.

overitalready · 11/10/2015 19:40

Shit day..shit week

Havent eaten anything i shouldnt have but everything i have eaten has tasted like shit.
Not enjoyed one mouthful of food i dont think so far
