Bugger ive had another bad daySad

I don't know what's wrong with me at the mo other than I'm really really tired. I've just sat and meal planned I've gone back to basics with extra easy no sp at the moment as I don't seem to have the willpower and just end up eating crap.
Lots of nice casseroles, chilli, currys and just proper home cooked meals with loads of veg I really need to feel like I'm not being deprived at the mo, need to get my mojo back

calzone · 06/10/2015 21:23

Buttwing......what scuppers your plans?

I have stuffed myself today but stayed on plan.

For treats I had a lemon meringue yoghurt, a packet of skinny chocolate rice cakes.
There are things I need to avoid or I will go hell for leather stuffing it down my neck......

I'm not sure calzone today it was a biscuit with my tea and then I just kept going. I'm thinking i. Not eating enough in the morning have put some breakfasts onto my weeks meal plan as I usually just have coffee. I'm planning on three good meals a day which is so thing I've not really been doing and hoping this might stop me falling off plan.

Tommorows meal plan is

B-banana and yogurt

S- hi if and coffee

L-sainsburys I syn sausages, bacon, egg, mushrooms and tomatoes

S-fruit salad and yogurt

D-cottage pie, cabbage and broccoli.

Just need to stick to it nowGrin

blondiep14 · 07/10/2015 12:46

Ok, so this is me starting properly today

HEA is my milk for tea all day

B: kings mill wholemeal thin with bacon medallions. A small banana.
L: SW meatballs and salad with balsamic dressing (1syn) and 2 crackerbread (2 subs)
D: a SW meal as I've just had time to nip to Iceland but don't know when I can do a proper shop.

Would usually then treat myself to wine but doing dry October so will see what I fancy from the treat box later Smile. Will update with any additions

overitalready · 07/10/2015 18:06

Blondie - how are you finding the Iceland ready meals?

I've tried a few and actually they were all quite nice.

B - Coffee X 2

L - rocket,cucumber, peppers,tomato, beetroot salad with a chicken breast, 2 boiled eggs and a baby bel

D - chicken legs with roasted sweet potato, courgettes, red / green and yellow pepper, red onion and asparagus

S - Cadbury snack

WonderOnTheUp · 07/10/2015 18:17

The day started well but lots of things went wrong and my plan went out the window.. Blush

B: yoghurt and banana
L- butternut squash soup
S: 2 apples
T: mc chicken sandwich and fries Sad

It's weighing day tomorrow too.

blondiep14 · 07/10/2015 18:40

Overit- really impressed actually. I had the chicken and tomato one with a big bowl of salad and it was good. Flavoursome and decent portion. Very useful to have in the freezer.

I will make a batch of the sauce for pasta/chicken/bacon I think - it will cost peanuts to make and I'll eat it often.

I struggle for breakfast and lunch ideas as I don't like eggs or fish, and I need my milk for my tea! Confused

FannyFanakapan · 07/10/2015 22:00

B: Eggs, tomatoes, toast (gotta find me a new breakfast)
L: Chilli and rice. no idea of syn value.
D: Baked spud with primula (hexA) and bolognese mince (1s). Mullerlight with 3 lady finger biscuits. (3s)

Milk in teas all day (4 syns)

ProcrastinatorGeneral · 07/10/2015 22:07

It's all been a bit bonkers today. Didn't get breakfast, ended up at a buffet for lunch (avoided sauces and stuff but still not ideal) but managed to have my weetabix for dinner this evening. About to have a yoghurt and an apple and head to bed.

CiderwithBuda · 07/10/2015 23:10

Weigh in for me today - 1.5 lbs off. Now got 1.5 lbs more to get to a stone off. Need to do by Tuesday next week as I'm going up to London on the Wednesday so a day less to do it.

B today was porridge with blueberries and some seeds - in a cafe so no idea of syns but better than the alternatives!
L - M&S count on us chicken sandwich
Treat - lemon muffin
D - 97% pork chipolatas (I prefer these althghough I know they are not SW friendly), roast veg and ratatouille.
Low fat rhubarb yoghurt.

I have to admit I'm not great at following SW to the letter but know roughly what and how I should eat to lose weight.

WonderOnTheUp · 08/10/2015 08:07

Weigh in for me today and I haven't lost anything, stayed exactly the same weight this week. Feel pretty rubbish about it Sad

CiderwithBuda · 08/10/2015 08:58

That is rubbish Wonder. But it happens. Stick at it. Drink lots of water. Eat lots of speed foods. Limit the Muller lights and HiFi bars and the like. Make sure you are having enough protein. And fingers crossed you will get a loss next week.

FannyFanakapan · 08/10/2015 09:03

wonder, do not despair! Its horrible, but could be hormones, or you could be one of those people that takes 2 weeks to show a loss.

Write down everything that you eat - every.last.thing. Because I found for example that yesterday I ate half a coconut ring, and a finger of toast with butter (thanks DD) and yet I didnt count either - I should have counted an extra 3 syns. Its easy to miss a nibble of this and a nibble of that and tell yourself that they don't count.

TheTravellingLemon · 08/10/2015 09:07

Made a quorn curry last night which was delicious. Tonight is the best night if the week though. Eggs, chips, beans and quorn sausages.

I need a red day tomorrow, but I really find then hard. I don't know what to make. Maybe a casserole.

blondiep14 · 08/10/2015 13:24

Just had the SW pea soup I bought in Iceland yesterday and added some ham, dunked in two crackerbreads (1syn each).
Other than being hotter than hell for about half an hour, it was pretty tasty and a big bowlful. You can't reheat so I ate it all and am now stuffed!

GingerFoxInAT0phat · 08/10/2015 18:44

Hi can I join please? I was meant to go to my first group on Tuesday but dh had to go somewhere so missed it but will be going next Tuesday.

I've been having a go but I'm not very clued up on the healthy extras.

Today I've had:
B - bacon, lettuce and avacado sandwich with the smaller wholemeal bread

D - roast chicken mugshot
T - fish pie, with a small amount of cheese grated on top. (Think I have to syn the cheese)
S - 3 cups of teas, 2 bounty celebrations.

Are avocados free or no?

FannyFanakapan · 08/10/2015 18:59

no, 9.5 syns per 100g for Avo...which is a shame because i do love it so.

b: bacon, egg, tomato, toast, apple
l: Lamb, cucumber, ham slice, pear.
d: Chicken and bacon pie (without the pastry), carrots and peas. Mullerlight.
Counting 3 syns, because sauce had flour and creme fraiche.

GingerFoxInAT0phat · 08/10/2015 20:23

Ffs!

I wasnt expecting that! Grin

ProcrastinatorGeneral · 08/10/2015 20:31

Weetabix and a coffee for breakfast, pot of tea and an apple for lunch and dinner was three ryvitas and a mini pot of the light philly with some carrot and cucumber sticks and a few slices of pastrami on the side. Going to have a yoghurt with a cuppa later.

Weigh in tomorrow, not feeling confident as I'm on my period and if my knees are anything to go by I'm retaining a fair bit of water. Such is life though, it'll even out in the end.

On a related note, does anyone else wince at all the 'star week' tweetwattery? It's a period, what's so wrong about using the actual word?!

Buttwing · 08/10/2015 20:36

I feel like I'm finally back on track I've had two days of doing it 100% I've even measured my milk swot!

B-banana

S-hifi bar

L-sausages (2 syns) bacon, egg, beans, mushrooms and tomatoes

S-mango and a rich tea (2 syns)

D-spicy prawn and noodle soup with loads of stir fry veg in, a banana

Curly wurly (6 syns)

Buttwing · 08/10/2015 20:36

Oh and the avocado things is a right bummer it's one of my favourite thing Sad

blondiep14 · 08/10/2015 20:48

Need to get some Curly Wurlys!!

TheTravellingLemon · 08/10/2015 21:08

Me too! I didn't know they were only 6 syns. What other chocolate has a surprisingly low syn count?

blondiep14 · 08/10/2015 21:10

I was also surprised today to find that a little choc chip brioche was 4.5 syns! Enjoyed that with a cuppa earlier this evening.
