New day with sunshine!

Totally off-plan yesterday.

FF yogurt with apples and strawberries.

Cauliflower, tuna, egg, olive and green pepper salad.

Headache. No painkillers in house. Cravings.

Olives.
Babybel.
2 moam strips
Wensleydale
Blackcurrant squash
Pizza (homemade)
2 glasses wine.

Lessons learned:
Always have painkillers in the house
Don't save up all your Syns and Hexs for the evening
Oats at breakfast are good.

Chia pudding is chia seeds soaked in dairy overnight. They all swell up like frog spawn (maybe not for everyone!). I use one of the almond/hazelnut/coconut milks. 30g of seeds as per HEXB. I make it up the night before and leave it on the side just while I am clearing up after dinner so I can give it a few stirs and then it goes in the fridge to bring into work for breakfast. It's kind of like crunchy rice pudding.

Today:

B: boiled egg, chia pudding (HEXA and B)
L: Tesco sweet chilli chunks and free foods from tesco salad bar (that's the plan anyway)
S: 15 pistachios 3 syns
D: SW meatballs, free tomato sauce, courgette spaghetti, maybe some butternut squash
S:Lindt 85% 5.5 Syns

Poor food day so far, I think when I go to the gym everyday I get over hungry by day 4.

6.30 crumpet & coffee before gym.

B, toast boiled egg tomatoes & pate, syns 3??? Hexb bread.
Homemade fruit cake & tea at parents, made by me & still warm.
L, jacket potato & chilli - & cheese. Hexa cheese.
D, ???.. Think I need chicken as that's what fills me, hunters style with salad & veg.

Well there's a turn-up for the books. I lost another 2lbs today making it 9 lbs in total (in 5 weeks). I am V happy with that.

I also won the raffle (the new veggie cookbook) so there's going to be some non-meat food (accompanied by meat for obligate carnivore DH) cooked here this week (apart from the fact that from tomorrow we're away until Tuesday-ish).

Blondes - it is chia seeds, not chai. I suppose you could put the spices in and make it taste like chai latte :) Think I forgot to say I used 250ml milk.

yesterday I got home late and couldn't be bothered to mess about with the spiralizer so had ham, eggs, potato wedges, kale and mushy peas and it was delicious.

Today is:

B - chia pudding (HEX A & B), boiled egg
L - free from tesco salad bar, ham, nectarine and a sample pack of popcorn they were giving out at the DLR, 1.5 syns (7 grams! - not sure why I bothered!)
S - Tesco hoisin duck sushi taster 1.5 syns
D - SW meatballs, courgette noodles, BNS, aubergine
S - Lindt 85% 5.5 syns

Can I ask if chia seeds is definitely a HEX A? This would help me a lot with breakfasts.

I re-joined SW 3 weeks ago after 2 babies and at my heaviest ever. I need to lose 4 stones and almost 1/2 stone down (6.5 lbs lost so far).
I've noticed that I am relying on eggs a lot (breakfast and lunch) and I'd like to cut down on this. I do have porridge as well, but I usually have this as a snack at around 3pm as this is when my cravings for sweet things is at its peak.
I've been reading this forum all afternoon and making notes along the way. What an exciting way to spend a Friday afternoon. Grin

Back at it today.

Calzone - smoked cod risotto sounds delicious. I'm irish and we used to have smoked cod a lot growing up. Haven't found it in UK much. My mum used to make a smoked cod 'casserole' which my sisters still make.

1lb gain yesterday, not good but I know why (Ben and jerrys that dad bought ... ) Grin anyway onwards and upwards.

yesterday -

B - banana

L - pasty (10 syns). ice cream (10).

D - mini pizza base (11) with puree, cheese, mushrooms and a pile of salad.

31 syns overall. Am getting back on it today, am planning egg on toast for breakfast, fruit for lunch and a SW ready meals for tea

I know I should add my Syns for the weekend but it's too scary a prospect.

Food plan for the day:

B - strawberries, blueberries, 0% yoghurt and flaked almonds
L - maybe vegetable soup as have loads of veg to use up
D - nacho feast

Lots of water and green tea planned too.

Well back to class yesterday!! If it wasn't then it would be never, can't do it alone.
Totally different lady who doesn't know me, which might help.
Yesterday was,
Scrambled egg beans & 1 hovis.
Pasta tomato sauce mushrooms & bacon bits.
Chicken salad peppers & mushroom bbq sauce sw chips.

Yesterday was -

B - black coffee with sweetener

L - packet pasta (made using milk as HEA)

T - ham, homemade roasties (in fry light), carrots, parsley sauce (3.5syns)

Went to boxercise. Afterwards, was starving (ate tea at 5pm so early for me), so had half of a twix (6syns), wholemeal toast (HEB), butter (3syns) and a banana.

12.5 syns. Am trying to have no syns today

Hi All,

I visit this thread so often I might as well add my food diary in! I have about a stone to lose - old baby weight baby is three but also poor eating habits creeping up on me now I'm in my 30s!

Today I am eating:

B porridge made with almond milk and topped with strawberries.

L packet pasta sauce meal with salad, ff yogurt and a banana

D not quite sure but probably fish with new potatoes and veg

D - roasted vegetable slimming world ready meal, with salad. I found it a bit sweet for a savoury meal

T - Am going to have pizza breads - wholemeal bread (HEXB) with cheese (HEXA), tomato puree, mushrooms, ham and peppers in a bit. Will have a yogurt afterwards
