that sounds lovely Talcum

no theme for taster, was maybe thinking of raspberry roulade, it's 0.5 syns for the whole thing so that'd be good to take in as I could cut into slices? I will do a trial run this week to see wha th it comes out like Grin

Sounds lovely, especially in this weather! Is it a recipe from the SW site?

RavioliOnToast · 30/06/2015 15:37

I got it off Facebook, but have found a website with it on. mine is in the oven as we speak! I added lemon essence to the quark that I'm going to spread Grin

KingOfTheStupids · 30/06/2015 15:49

That looks amaizing!!! Shock

Have you tried any yet?

RavioliOnToast · 30/06/2015 15:53

just! I think I added too much quark for the filling but others might like that. I think to make it more indulgent for me I might stir in a white chocolate options to the quark and serve with a side of strawberries! I think it'll only be 2.5 syns for the whole thing for the options. Grin

My take on it. Not nearly enough raspberries either, I may or may not have been eating them while the roll was in the oven Blush

DH threw my quark away last night as it'd just past it's date. I'd have made some tonight if we still had it.

What sweetener did you use?

RavioliOnToast · 30/06/2015 16:09

I use tesco ' low calorie granulated sweetener' in the red tub, it's the closest tasting to canderel and only £1 a jar

OP posts:
TalcumMucker · 30/06/2015 19:39

OMG that looks incredible! I'd eat the whole lot for 2.5 syns!

RavioliOnToast · 30/06/2015 19:43

Yeah thats the plan haha. it'd be lovely just to pick on aswell when you fancy a bit of a treat. I'm going to make the choccy one tomorrow as haven't had a chance to get to sainsburys tonight Sad

KingOfTheStupids · 01/07/2015 10:31

I've added the ingredients to my shopping list. This will be my cooking challenge this weekend Smile

I've lost another 3lbs this week so I've now got my 2st award Grin

I keep thinking I should take some more photos in the clothes I wore for my 'before' shots, but I'm scared that I won't look any different and will end up demoralised.

RavioliOnToast · 01/07/2015 11:32

Ee king that's excellent! I'm still losing but very slowly, I wish it'd speed up a bit! I've been to sainsburys force options but they had no quark so will get some of that later and will post back! ooh, one thing though is add the sweetener to the quark before the flavouring, whether it be lemon or options as it takes the bitterness of the quark away Grin I learned that the hard way Shock

AppleSnapple · 02/07/2015 14:06

Wow well done, 2 and 3 stone respectively, awesome!!

I am still plodding on, 2 weeks in and I've lost 5.5 lb so pretty happy with that!

RavioliOnToast · 04/07/2015 10:40

Happy Saturday!

How is everyone doing?

the white chocolate roulade is gorgeous!!!!

OP posts:
KingOfTheStupids · 06/07/2015 19:44

So, I tried making the roulade. It didn't go to plan and tasted like a raspberry yoghurt omelette Sad not sure where I went wrong though.

Creamy pesto pasta and green beans for dinner though which will cheer me up Smile

RavioliOnToast · 06/07/2015 21:10

I got my half stone award!!!! wahooooooo!!!! Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin it's about time mind, to be honest though, I do quite often go off plan for a day out or something, I'm glad I'm at least losing something though, and just small amounts makes it easier for me to maintain Grin

KingOfTheStupids · 07/07/2015 00:18

Congratulations Ravi that's a well earned achievement Grin

You've got a shiny sticker on the front of your book to flash a group now Wink

TalcumMucker · 07/07/2015 13:47

Congratulations Ravioli that's fab!

I maintained this week, which is fine and I know why. Ladies beware the 0.5 syn roulade! I made it this week, thanks for the idea, it was yummy and yes I ate it all. Someone else in group brought it up this morning and our consultant says the syn rules have changed slightly and this is regarded as a 'tweak' and because people are likely to overeat with it Blush you should syn it as you would syn cake, meaning there is probably up to 40 syns in the whole thing. So watch out!

Like I say I'm happy though, as I'm going to a wedding on Saturday and bought a new dress last weekend. I had to get it in a size 12! Me in a size 12! Not bad for someone who was wearing a size 20 at Christmas. Thanks for your advice about shoes on my other thread Ravioli I got some this morning so will go update.

Hope the rest of you are having a good week?

RavioliOnToast · 07/07/2015 14:34

Ee Talcum that is marvellous!! you should be bloody beaming with that!

Ah no! We did about tweaks in class aswell a couple of weeks ago, such as using cous cous for flour is ground down etc. I was actually wondering if the kfc chicken would still be free as it's smash as breadcrumbs isn't it?

hope you find some shoes! you definitely deserve to be spoiled after that weight loss! Grin

RavioliOnToast · 07/07/2015 14:35

just read your update there, they're really nice, did you get them in the navy?

OP posts:
TalcumMucker · 07/07/2015 14:43

Yes I got the navy shoes, they're almost identical to the navy in the dress so I'm very happy. Can't wait for Saturday now!

RavioliOnToast · 07/07/2015 14:43

have a great time! Grin
