Anyone want to jump back on the SW wagon with me next week?

I did really well on SW last year until about August when it all went horribly wrong.

We had a good virtual group on here. A lot of us were doing it ourselves rather than going to a group but we had some fantastic 'group losses'.

Does anyone want to join me next week and get going again? I am planning to weigh in on the 6th...

JakeBullet · 14/03/2014 19:45

Ah but 1lb a week is 52lbs in a year! That's a whopping 3st 10lbs! Grin

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/03/2014 23:48

I know but has been known to gain 3/4lbs in a week and then takes a month to get it off again at lb a week

Babydol10 · 15/03/2014 09:39

Why is it that it takes 1 naughty week to gain 3 lb but two really good ones to loose it...lol, never mind put like that jake i'll be happy with a pound a week...please all remind me of this comment if i moan about a pound loss next week.

muminthecity · 16/03/2014 19:48

How have you all been this weekend? I always find the weekends really hard but have somehow managed to stay on track this week - I am determined to get rid of the 2lbs I gained last week! I was out most of the day yesterday and took DD to macdonalds for dinner but managed to resist, I only had 3 chips!

Today we went to the park for the afternoon, then met friends in the pub for a drink in the beer garden. Again, I resisted temptation and just had diet coke! So today I have had:

B - Banana
L - 2 mugshots
D - Pepsi Max chicken with salad
S - Ryvita minis (HEB), apple and will have a mini bag of chocolate buttons later (4 syns)

Hope everyone else has had a good weekend, and managed to stay on track Smile.

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/03/2014 11:43

Wasn't the healthiest weekend ......

Will be lucky to sts Friday

muminthecity · 17/03/2014 21:38

Friday's a long way off Blondes, you've got time to pull it back! I've been ok today, eaten loads but not gone over my syns:

B - Banana
L - Pepsi Max chicken with salad and low fat mayo (1 syn)
D - Salmon, jacket potato with light cream cheese (HEA), brocolli, green beans and red pepper
S - Yoghurt, pineapple, mugshot, Ryvita minis (HEB), mini milk lolly (1.5 syns), mini bag of chocolate buttons (4 syns)

Where is everyone? It's been quiet here lately! I lost 5.5lbs at WI tonight, and finally got my long-awaited 6 stone award! I've also won a biggest loser award which I will be presented with at WI next week. We are having a SW party to celebrate - I can't wait! Grin

Blondeshavemorefun · 19/03/2014 07:34

We'll done mum. That's brilliant. Be very proud :)

I'M Struggling at the moment as doing mixture of days and nights and bodyclock and eating goes wrong

Only1scoop · 19/03/2014 07:39

yellowrose2728 · 20/03/2014 00:37

Hi Ladies, any chance I can join?

So... I went to my first SW class today and am, devastated to say the least. I felt that I had done really well (almost 6 weeks post birth) but I've actually gained weight and am now the heaviest I have ever been Sad Sad

I have just over 4 stone to target weight and it seems such a huge mountain.

loobylou1967 · 20/03/2014 01:00

Welcome yellowrose. Don't be disheartened - you can only climb a mountain by taking small steps and you've taken the first steps by going to a SW group today. Smile

mamafroho · 23/03/2014 15:59

I did sw last year but stopped when I fell pregnant in the June (last pregnancy and I made the most of it Grin) My son is 4 weeks now and I'm HUGE so getting back on it. Will struggle to get to groups though. How do you manage it?

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/03/2014 18:13

sts, which is weird as so bad, so why if good do i lose a lb?

fluffygal · 06/04/2014 11:03

Oh it's been so quiet on here! How is everyone doing?? Hope you have all managed to stick at it.

I have now hit target after starting SW in October and can't quite believe I have done it to be honest considering my previous addiction to biscuits!

My total loss was 1 stone and 11.5 Ib to get me to pre 3rd child weight. I have now set a smaller new one of 9 Ib which will hopefully shift the stubborn bit of weight from my problem area (stomach!) and have lost 2.5Ib so far of that. Have got right into my exercise now and do a Fight Klub class twice a week and occasional Bootcamp on a Saturday morning.

I keep getting questions about how SW works, no one can quite believe pasta, bacon and jacket potatoes are no syns. Anyone understand the science behind it? I just say to them I have no idea but I am proof that it works!

aleC4 · 13/04/2014 22:58

Hello I'd like to join if that's ok? I started sw in September and was doing well up until Christmas. Over Christmas I slipped back into my old ways and all bad habits and out loads of weight back on. Since then I really haven't been able to get into it and have yo-yo'd ever since.
Today I was sorting my wardrobe and found 15 pairs of trousers that are too small. I have nothing to wear for summer and go on holiday in about 8 weeks. This has given me a real kick up the bum and I am determined to try my best now.

LuckyAugust · 14/04/2014 09:41

Hello, can I join too? After weeks of talking about it today is finally going to be day 1! I have about 4 stone to loose and hoping this plan will be one I stick too pretty much forever to keep my weight under control rather than a quick fix. I know it works because I've done it before- just need to plan wisely and ignore the chocolate when its calling....... So my day 1 menu is - Breakfast: fruit and yoghurt, lunch: spaghetti on toast, tea: Spicy salmon stir fry. Planning to use less syns during week and have few more at weekend (hoping this still results in a weight loss). Would be great to hear other peoples menus for ideas Smile

gr65 · 15/04/2014 12:02

Hey I'm in the same boat as far as living in a small village. Also working strange shifts doesn't help with motivation. I really need to almost 4 stone but very much doubt this will ever happen! I have a holiday at the end of May - if I could lose 2lbs a week that would be fantastic! Are the old books still relevant? I'd moved onto extra easy but can't seem to find that booklet. Good luck & here's hoping!
