Anyone want to jump back on the SW wagon with me next week?

I did really well on SW last year until about August when it all went horribly wrong.

We had a good virtual group on here. A lot of us were doing it ourselves rather than going to a group but we had some fantastic 'group losses'.

Does anyone want to join me next week and get going again? I am planning to weigh in on the 6th...

Have some Syn free sausages made by a local butcher for tea this evening. going to do SW chips in the Actifry and baked beans plus onions.

Although the sausages are apparently Syn free I do count 1 Syn each as they are not endorsed by SW.....just to be int he safe side.

I made veggie soup today as well which was delicious and I added 25g of full fat Greek yoghurt (no the fat free one is not "just as good" Grin).

muminthecity · 22/02/2014 18:06

Beef stir fry sounds nice Only1.

Jake - I haven't made soup in ages but after reading your post I really fancy some! Might make a batch tomorrow.

I've been good today:

B - Banana
L - LF sausages, chips and peas (all leftover from last night.)
D - Massive jacket potato with beans, cheese and salad
S - None yet but had an early dinner so I know I'll be hungry again later. Will have one or more of the following: Mugshot, Ryvita minis, yoghurt and fruit.

Only1scoop · 22/02/2014 19:04

First lunch out guilt Hmm

Had a steak and onion sandwich on wholemeal. Feel it was very sinful though as onions fried etc.

Tonight salad nicoise with new potatoes and green beans.

Going to attempt a sw Sunday lunch style thing tmrw I think.

Anyone having a Wine tonight....

muminthecity · 23/02/2014 20:53

Oh dear, not been very good today, but it is my 30th birthday so I think I'm allowed a day off! Haven't been too terrible really, all things considered. Had a jacket potato and salad for lunch, then went to my sister's for dinner. She made a lovely SW friendly 3 course meal. We had:

Starter - Little filo pastry tarts with goat's cheese and roasted peppers and asparagus wrapped in parma ham

Main - Fillet steak, SW chips, mushrooms and tomatoes

Pudding - SW Spanish orange cake and SW chocolate mousse with raspberries

All ok so far, however, I have also had 2 Lindor chocolates (which I've since discovered are 4 syns each! 4! And they're only tiny!), a Freddo and an extra bit of cake. Probably had at least 25 - 30 syns in total Blush.

It was lovely though and I had a great day, so all worth it I think!

Weighed in tonight- lost 1 pound and 7/8ths, so basically 2 pounds! Happy with that after I went out drinking at the weekend and ate crap on my hangover!

Setting a very optimistic target of 3 pounds loss over the next week, my 5 pound weight loss last weigh in makes me want to aim high!

mum happy birthday! You have to enjoy yourself on such occasions guilt free!

loobylou1967 · 25/02/2014 14:26

Dreading WI tonight. Totally fallen off the wagon this week for various reasons/excuses. Will just have to give my head a good wobble and get back on track this week.

JakeBullet · 25/02/2014 16:23

Lost 4lbs this week.....and was Slimmer of the Week AND got my Club 10 award. Have lost 24lbs now which gives you some idea of how much I still have to lose.

Happy with the progress though Grin

Only1scoop · 25/02/2014 17:24

Jake well done that's fantastic.

My first week I lost 3 lbs....one woman lost 9!

Am quite pleased although seeing as I've eaten quite a bit....

fluffygal · 25/02/2014 20:41

jake Well done!! That's a great loss!

looby A new week starts tomorrow, one bad week is acceptable! Good luck at weigh in though you may be surprised? How did it go?

loobylou1967 · 26/02/2014 00:37

Jake Well done - fantastic loss. Wish I was doing as well.

3 lbs on this week! Determined to lose it by next weigh-in ... getting fed up of yo-yo losses and gains.

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/02/2014 06:06

Well done jake

looby you sound like me. Up and down like a bloody yoyo. If it makes you feel any better I gained 3lbs the other week after eating battered fish T Hastings

B pancakes (b) fruit yog and honey 1
L ham salad and dressing 1 fruit
T white bread (6) cheese (a) sandwich and mayo light 1 - was bloody yummy !!!!!

Sure there is a white bread/half and half that is a b? Anyone know

JakeBullet · 26/02/2014 06:34

I did have chips yesterday...went out for lunch with some friends and it was one of those "everything with chips" menus. Of course I didn't have to eat the chips....but I did Grin.

Today out for lunch with another friend...but it's a Toby carvery so much easier.

I tend to save my Syns as much as possible...I always make sure I have 35 per week (5 Syns a day) but if something comes up I know have another 35 to 70 Syns to play with. I have a lot to lose though so could probably go to 15 Syns per day and get away with it at he moment.

muminthecity · 26/02/2014 19:45

Thanks for the birthday wishes, and well done to all who lost this week. I lost 1lb which I was quite pleased with considering my over indulgence on Sunday.

However, after WI last night I went out to Zizzi's for dinner and ate an enormous amount. I've been awful today as well, pizza for dinner and finished off my birthday chocolates Blush.

Will jump back on the wagon tomorrow but don't think I'll lose much this week now.

Only1scoop · 26/02/2014 20:31

You still lost a lb and it was your birthday celebrations....fab.

I'm eating so much pasta think I'm going to burst....

aleC4 · 02/03/2014 22:28

Hi can I join you all please. I started sw in September and was doing ok. Steady, but ok. However over Christmas I put on 6 lbs and I haven't managed to get back into it since. I've lost 1lb, gained 1lb and stayed the same for weeks now. I just seem to have no willpower. I cook healthy sw meals and really enjoy them - although I do find it an expensive diet. it is the inbetween times I am crap at and resisting temptation. I start every Wednesday (day after wi) full of enthusiasm and determination and then it's all gone by Thursday.

Blondeshavemorefun · 03/03/2014 08:30

Manic weekend a forgot to post

Lost 2lbs :)

Prob gained it back again coz of my manic champagne and wine and pizza FILLED weekend

Back to it today

Alec4 welcome. I'm a yoyo as well

Only1scoop · 03/03/2014 08:36

Awful weekend ....
Got to reign it back for wi on tues Hmm

JakeBullet · 03/03/2014 08:45

Hang in there only, a gain or staying the same is not a crime and it's not the end of the world either. I have been quite picky this week.....not gone over syns apart from yesterday but I need to look at WHY I am picking Blush Confused .

I am weighing in tomorrow night and am hoping that the picking hasn't gone too over board....ate out twice last week too ...oopsGrin

fluffygal · 03/03/2014 23:13

WI for me! Lost 2 1/4 pounds! Very happy, didn't feel like I lost anything-well except maybe from my boobs. I have got to buy some new bras . Only 3 3\4 pounds to target- may set myself another after that though.

Welcome Alec!

Well done blonde on your 2 Ib weight loss- I had a chinese at the weekend and still lost so your pizza and champagne may not make a difference!

Only1scoop · 03/03/2014 23:22

Well done fluffySmile

muminthecity · 04/03/2014 19:46

Well done losers! Grin

I well and truly fell off the wagon this weekend. Night out on Friday to celebrate my birthday - went a bit crazy, drank loads of alcohol then had a McDonalds at about 4am on the way home! Was mega hungover on Saturday so had a takeaway pizza Blush.

Didn't go to WI this week as just couldn't face it, but I have been back on the wagon since yesterday and I WILL lose this week!
