I did really well on SW last year until about August when it all went horribly wrong.

We had a good virtual group on here. A lot of us were doing it ourselves rather than going to a group but we had some fantastic 'group losses'.

Does anyone want to join me next week and get going again? I am planning to weigh in on the 6th...

Morning all

Lost 1.5lb at weigh in so just 7lb away from my target.

Got dds party today so hope I am strong enough to resist picking at party food.

How is everyone faring so far this weekend.

Hi

Can I jump in & ask for some advice please?

I did SW years ago in prep for my wedding & loved it. I really need to lose a couple of stones again & and am planning on joining my local group tomorrow (Tuesday).

Question is...DH is going to do our shopping this afternoon so what do I need to ask him to stock up on?

I have plenty of chicken, prawns & lean mince in the freezer, lots of tinned tomatoes for pasta sauce, a huge bag of costco frozen stir fry veg so think I'm OK for staples.

Weighed in on Thurs, 2.5lb so a lovely 9lb in 2 weeks. Am Shredding too. I feel like I have the mindset right this time. Looking forward to summer now... If the rain ever stops!

Hello everyone, may I join in? I used to post on Blonde's old SW threads, but haven't been on for a while. I've been doing ok lately, got my 5.5 stone award a few weeks ago, now have 4lbs to lose to get my 6 stone.

Been terrible so far this week, missed WI on Tuesday as had a shitty day at work and was just knackered. Went home and had a pizza hut takeaway instead Blush. Yesterday I had a Danish pastry for breakfast, healthy lunch and dinner, then pancakes (not SW ones!) with ice cream and maple syrup Blush.

Back on the wagon today though, been really good so far.

B - Banana
L - Chicken salad, mugshot, a peach and some grapes
D - Chicken and vegetable kebabs, roasted sweet potato and salad

Am going to have some ryvita minis and a chunk of cheese in a minute as my A and B choice. Had 2 syns today (mayonnaise.)

Going to the gym tomorrow, roller disco on Saturday then swimming on Sunday, so hopefully the exercise will help with the damage-limitation!

Oh dear, have I killed the thread? Nevermind, I'll carry on on my own! Been pretty good today:

B - Banana
L - Chicken kebab, sweet potato and salad, followed by a peach and some grapes
D - LF Sausages (2 syns), SW chips, beans and mushy peas with ketchup (2 syns)
S - Tiny slice of pizza at work (6 syns)
Will probably have some ryvita minis later as my B choice.

At my first weigh in, one woman had had 3 chineses (in one night!) And it only came to 15 sysn, she still lost!

Oh dear, I fell off the,wagon again and gained half a pound... Then really fell off the wagon today. Just gonna write it off and pull my socks up from tomorrow, I can pull this back!!

Hello!

Thought I'd better come on on to say that I am 'defecting' to the 5:2 camp on Monday in the hope of having a bit more weight loss success.

I love the SW way of eating and did really well with it last year. However being away with work several times a week at the moment (and then trying to have something of a life at weekends) makes it so difficult to follow SW consistently so I am going to have a go at the 2 days of fasting.

Sending you all loads of positive SW vibes, I will still come back to see you all.

Definitely fell off the wagon today. But it's been a hellish day. Back on tomorrow.

Good luck beanandspud, do report back and let us know how you get on! I've been pretty good today, skated like mad at the roller disco so hopefully burnt a bit of fat off! Went for a Nando's afterwards but made healthy choices. My day so far:

B - Sausages (1 syn) and baked beans
L - Didn't have any as had such a late breakfast
D - Nando's - Chicken breast quarter (1 syn), corn on the cob, salad and halloumi (HEA)
S - Banana and 4 wine gums (4 syns - wouldn't have had them if I'd known they were a whole syn each!)

I'm a bit peckish now as had early-ish dinner so will probably have a mugshot and maybe some fruit in a bit.

Where I'm working at the moment I have no control what I eat and that's not helping :(

Will try and get back on track this week tho did have a yummy very high syn m&s meal Friday night for vd

B cereal and fruit
L salmon rice and veg
L roast dinner with lots of veg and no yorkies :(
