I am so sorry to read some of these, hugs to you all that have suffered the most sad and horrific events 🤗
Mine was in the early 2000's, an enormous bang, like a cannon going off outside, not long after midnight. Turns out a local lads girlfriend had dumped him and was in one of our villages pubs, with her new bloke. He got himself drugged up, got in his car, tried to drive into a load of people coming out of the pub at closing time, then sped up the hill, lost control and totalled himself into a tree at the end of the street above ours. A nurse who lived opposite ran out to help, but it was too late. I can't say sadly, as he could have killed or seriously injured a lot of innocent people. From then on, every year we had lager cans and bottles, cards saying 'top lad' (🙄) and flowers left at the tree. Moved away from there years ago, but have passed very occasionally since and it's still going on.
More recently, my then 4 month old kittens; Suki, biting on the end of my nose with her tiny teef, while he brother Sabre, trampolined on my side! When you're woken suddenly from a deep sleep to play, it's quite scary, especially when you're still getting used to them roaming around the whole house! Mum Spooky, gave birth in the spare bedroom! They were in there until they decided to grow a bit and leap the little barrier we'd put up to keep them safely in there!!! They're coming up to 6 months old now, they like sleep more thankfully! But they're still so much fun when they're awake - and into everything! 🤣
